I just bought this recently and I really like it. It's very nice now that winter is coming and skin is getting dry. You have to really work it to get it to lather but it has a nice, soft smell and I find that I don't really need to put on any kind of body lotion after I use it.

I love this stuff- doesn't smell like coconut though... more of a neutral mellow smell. It's very moisturizing w/o being oily. It has mutliple uses shave cream or body wash... It's a nice shower cream

Mousturizing, silky shower soap. Smells like PLAYDOUGH! And I don't mean the playdoze bath ballistic, I mean that stuff little kids play with. Makes an awesome shave cream, so I will keep the tub i bought until I use it up, but won't repurchase.

A very boring product I think. No smell to it at all and leaves my skin fairly dry. Would not purchase again.

Didn't smell as expected but smelt nice enough all the same. Is quite luxurious in consistency but only lathers a bit.
Cleans brilliantly and leaves skin soap scented. Because of its consistency and trying to get it out of the pot, it doesn't go very far. However will buy again, but as a little luxury.

I give this four stars because it makes an excellent shave cream. I'm less crazy about using this as a soap, as it doesn't lather well and you have to use a LOT at one time. The smell is okay, but not as nice or as heavily scented as other LUSH products. Its fragrance reminds me of vanilla soy milk, slightly beany and artificial. If only CA and CS smelled better it'd become my holy grail of shaving creams!

I am a huge LUSH fan, but was very disappointed, when I used this product. There was hardly any scent to this. No coconut, almond, or vanilla fragrance. The scent I got, was a faint, sour milk note. I purchased it brand new. As far as texture, it's a thick, creamy consistency, that lathers well in a bath pouf, & moisturizes well. I just couldn't tolerate the scent, so I couldn't even use this as a shave cream. In the trash it went.

I have gone through 2 pots of this because the smell is intoxicating. It has jasmine and vanilla in it, both of which I like the smell of together. The scent is subtle and it smells good enough to eat. I only gave it a 4 'cause it doesn't lather all that well and is used up too quickly.

Sinfully smooth skin in a tub. It's the consistency of (and looks vaguely like) vanilla pudding. It has a very subtle scent, which I prefer to stronger scented items. The only way I've ever gotten any lather out of it is by using it with those shower exfoliation gloves, but lather or no, it does a great job of cleaning and silkening. It also makes a lovely shave cream.

I'm in love with this Smoothie!! It is absolutely fabulous. First of all, if you're expecting a strong lingering scent, I think you'll be dissapointed. This one is fairly scented but it won't linger as much as the other BB product. However it is moisturizing enough for my dry skin. A little goes a long way and it won't lather as much but it'll leave your skin smooth and soft. Will definitely repurchase.

Well, I can't believe over 10 years after first using stuff from LUSH, as of 5/15/04 is my first time using the Creamed Almond and Coconut Smoothie. I'm abit neutral on my opinion, but, I'll be honest and say that I'd have a more positive one had I tried this product sooner. Why? I'll tell you! I love LUSH Sympathy for the Skin creme. However, I noticed in the past year, *2* pots have smelled very faint and in the past they have always been very strong and yummy. Which leads me back to the CA&CS, it barely smells of anything! It also doesn't froth up very much in a soapy manner, but, I forgive it for that being a creme soap. But, I do have issues with the lack of scent... however, I think maybe as with the Sympathy, they are toning down the scents in anticipation of delicate American noses used to drugstore and Bath & Body Works tripe?

A slightly misleading name, for although this creamy shower soap contains almond oil and coconut oil, these are not strongly scented substances. Instead, the main ingredient, vanilla pod infusion, provides most of the fragrance of this product, supplemented by heady ylang and warm ambery labdanum. The texture and the delicious fragrance are like a thick vanilla custard, so it's almost a surprise when it lathers up into rich creamy foam. It's so moisturising and yummy-smelling you can get away without using a lotion afterwards. Although expensive, you don't need to use nearly as much as you would of a cheap shower gel, so it's not as uneconomical as it may look. And I know some people don't like the plastic pots that this and some other Lush products come in, but I find them great for stacking in the corner of the shower, and that's one thing you can't do with bottles!

I love this creamy liquid shower wash! (Why do they call it soap?)
I love the subtle sweet coconut scent but unfortunately I can't smell much almond which is a shame as I love marzipan & was fervently hoping that's what it smelled like.
Anyway, I only have a sample of this but I will be definitely buying it for the creamy lather, beautiful scent and the way it leaves my skin so soft after my shower. I wish they made this in bar soap form too!

Hmm, maybe I received a bad batch, but I thought the scent was overpowering and smelled nothing like almond or coconut. It did lather well enough using a generous amount on a shower puff, but it definitely left a film on my skin which I didn't really like. I also thought it was quite expensive for the amount in the package.

I really love the smell and texture of this soap. My only problem was keeping the water out of the container when I showered.

LOVE it.
Love it so much, I bought Sympathy for the Skin lotion as there was a rumour the scent was the same.
I don't think my skin would have survived winter without it.
Light vanilla smell, I just rub some on in the shower rather than using soap or shower gel, and rinse it off.
A little goes a long way too: I think two tubs should get a girl through winter.

love this soap! gentle and moisturizing with a very soft texture. it is a mixture of a cream and a liquid, which makes for a very smooth application. it doesn't lather much b/c it supposed to be less drying than other soaps. i just smooth it on everywhere and let it sit there for a few minutes before rinsing. the scent is to die for...it's the perfect rich vanilla almond with a hint of coconut. not too sweet or overpowering and it's the perfect compliment to lush's sympathy for the skin lotion.

I was really disappointed with this product. It doesn't have much of a smell and doesn't lather very well. I'm using it to shave my legs with now for lack of anything else to do with it.

I just tried this and I'm still not sure what to think of it. I'm not sure if my nose is just really stuffy today or what. I couldn't smell anything. I used a pouf with this so it lathers well. But it's not thick later like if you used some other sort of bodywash. It's still nice. My skin felt really soft afterwards. I didn't need any lotion at all. So I say it's a good soap/bodywash/cleanser. I just wish I can smell it. =P I haven't used it as a shaving cream yet. I will try that next time. But for $11.50 a jar (yes, that's how much I paid for it), I'm not sure I want to use it as a shaving cream.

Lovely stuff! Doesn't smell like almonds or coconuts (to me) but it's wonderful. Has a smooth consistency that is good for shaving legs, but it is so luxurious that I save it for special occasions only. No lotion needed after this one!
