I've always used the expensive products (MAC, Lorac, Laura Mercier, Stila, etc.) and it doesn't matter if the product said "Oil Free", I still had TERRIBLE skin and an hour after I finished my makeup, I was shiny. I've been using this for 5 days (I ran out of my MAC Studio Fix and I've had this for a while) and already, my skin is soft, clear, and NOT OILY. I used to have acne bumps all over my face; blackheads; whiteheads; THE WHOLE DEAL, and it's ALL gone. Even if I put my makeup on at 6:20am, by 2:30pm, I'm not oily. And this has great coverage too!

For $5, this definitely beats MAC's Studio Fix Plus Foundation for $30.

Great buy, great results, I'm not switching back!

I bought it in translucent and I love it. It makes my skin oil free with a very natural look. Note: If you want a quick retouch, the palladio rice paper works very good as well.

I love using this rice powder as my setting powder. It gives my face a nice matte finish and makes my makeup look flawless. It keeps my skin from getting oily and shiny. The puff that comes with isn't all that great, but it's not like the majority of us use those anyway, right? The packaging could use a little tweaking as it does get a little messy and since it's mostly a board-type material, it's pretty fragile. However, I would buy this product again just because it's such a good setting powder!

Oh my goodness, This is a AMAZING powder. It makes my skin look next to flawless, I have this in translucent, and it truely is, Keeps my liquid foundation the same color, and it doesn't oxidize, also keeps me pretty shine free. It does have a little bit of a scent, but nothing too bothersom, and it doesnt linger. The little puff they include is all that great, but I never use those anyways. Packaging is cute, can get a little on the messy side, but its worth it. [:

After watching makeupgeek's video, I wanted to give this a try. I went to Sally's and picked this up in translucent (to be on the safe side). I had been using mac's Mineralized skin finish, MUFE translucent powder, etc. I didn't want to pay another $30 for a setting powder (although it did last a long time), so I figured I'd try this. Whattheheck, right? If it sucks, it would be okay because it was less than $5. But I love it so far! I usually don't like to buy drugstore makeup products because my skin is very sensitive and will breakout easily if I buy the wrong product. The smell doesn't bother me at all and to be honest, I like this better than MUFE. With MUFE, my nose and forehead would get shiny in a few hours, but with the Palladio Rice Powder, I swear - my makeup was matte all day.

This product is pretty good; soft and smooth, looks lovely. But, it lasts me 2 hours max. It's a shame, I really loved this product, but it just doesn't have the staying power I'd hoped it would have.

I hated this product. I use liquid foundation and it would great UNTIL I put this stuff over top of it. I used this product for 4 mos straight trying to get it to look good and not waste product. Especially with all the rave reviews. I give up, it's going in the trash. It settled in my fine lines (I'm only 24!) and just overrall gave a bad appearance. It's not as finely milled as I would like for a setting powder. I def got what I paid for.

My first problem is with this powder is the how small the container is and how rough the puff that comes with it is. The square shape and the size makes this akward for daily use. The powder itself looks lovely and gives a nice natural finish...fast-forward a few hours later and your face is horribly shiny. It's a shame really.I won't repurchase and will probably on use this as a touch up powder.

NOTE: not tested on animals, vegan friendly.

This is the most perfect powder I have ever tried. It made my pores look invisible, it set my foundation perfectly, and I stayed matte for a good portion of the day. The only complain that I have is the that there isn't a good variety of shades. I need something a tad lighter but there is nothing lighter available. :(

I'm not impressed. First of all, this is heavily scented. I could smell this as soon as I removed the protective plastic, BEFORE I even opened the box. Secondly, it is in a box where you simply lift the top off, making it not travel friendly. I would prefer it to come in a jar with a screw top. The powder itself is ok, it serves it's purpose well. It blends nicely and doesn't look chalky. I have found unscented powders just as nice, in better packaging, for about the same amount. I would not repurchase.

I really like this powder! It blends nicely and keeps me oil-free!
It was fairly inexpensive at Sally's (i paid under $10 canadian, i think around $6? I cant remember it was a while ago).
It smells like baby powder and chalk. I don't find the smell that bad.The packaging is cute, but annoying because it won't fit in my makeup case with all my other makeup because it's too boxy. Also, don't keep it in your purse because they explode easily.

All over review : nice powder, works well, good colour, and cheap!

I use this product everyday, over foundation, primer and moisturizer. It does a decent job setting my foundation and is dirt cheap. However, my skin is only a bit oily on my nose and chin. I lean towards dry (especially in the winter) so I am constantly moisturizing.

The packaging is a bit annoying, but you just have to learn to keep it in one place and not shake the crap out of it. That bothers me, because it would be nice to keep this in my purse during the day, for touch ups.

To be honest I did not even notice the smell until I read about in a review, and yes, it does kind of remind me of my grandma, but I only notice is for the 1 second that I fluff it on my face. It disappates.

Would I rebuy again, yes.

This powder is fantastic...as a base. It just isn't good enough on its own for me; it wore out in a couple of hours and it didn't give a matte finish that I wanted. However, when used as a base with a matte finishing powder on top, it is brilliant. The 'natural' is the perfect shade for my skin. Packaging isn't all that good - the square makes it hard to hold and the pad that comes with it isn't the best, but will do.

So far I love this powder. It's better than Mineral veil and a lot cheaper too. I really don't need/use a lot of it either. The only place I need setting powder is my T zone, since it's the only oily part of my face. The rest of my skin is dry/sensitive skin, so I don't need it there. I think it's great for getting rid of shine. I use the translucent powder, btw.

I'm really not one for loose powder, but I quite like this one! It smells just like baby powder, and it blends nicely with no chalky residue. Unlike the previous reviews, it didn't break me out or irritate my skin...I found it was quite gentle and left me matte for quite a while. A definite repurchase!

I bought the Palladio Rice Powder in Natural last week from Sallies. I heard some good reviews about it, so I decided to pick it up and give it a try. I've been using it for a few days and I do not like this product. It is supposed to be mattifying...however I have to blot an hour after I put it on. I also have been breaking out from it. I have very very oily skin and this product has made it 10 times worse. I would not recommend this to anyone with oily or sensitive skin.

Sure wish that I would've read 'chowchowface's' review below -- would've saved me the trouble. It did break me out (t-zone area) --- not a lot, but who wants zits to begin w/. As far as mattifying, it did not work for me; I still had to use blotting papers by noon. It also contains talc which isn't good for your pores. I will be returning this for a full refund.

I hate this stuff. I'm really dissappointed too, because everyone on youtube and MUA seems to really rave about it too...
I do like it in the sense that it's cheap, and it mattifies my face for the first 2-3 hours.
However, I find the staying power of the product to be really sucky... My face ends up looking oilier than before, and I break out whenever I come back to this product. I also hate the packaging. ICK. spills everywhere. messy. ANNOYING.

I have very, very oily and very, very sensitive skin (emphasis here). So I decided to try this product out because all the drugstore pressed powders that I have tried, failed to keep my oiliness at bay. Whenever I applied that powder, after an hour, I would start getting oily again. But now I am using Palladio Rice Powder which kept me matte for a longer period of time. I'd say 3-4 hours, depending on the room temperature. I bought this in the natural shade. The powder is so fine and it gives a natural, matte-but-not-too-matte finish, which is what I love. I just don't like the packaging 'cause it's kind of messy and weird. But I think I'm kind of fine with it 'cause I leave this product at home anyway. It'l be a mess if I carry it around in my bag. But I really wish I could haha I'm just going to find some container so that I can put the rice powder in and have it with me all day. Oh, and it doesn't break me out. I've been using this for a month already. And about the fragrance, maybe my nose is getting old 'cause I don't find it too irritating. Haha. Repurchase this product? Yes, I would.
