ive been using this product for about a month now and so far i have seen a change. first of all i not only apply the product as if it was a mascara, i also use a small liner brush and apply some on the base of my lashes. amazingly it definitely made a difference. after about a month of using this product i could see new lashes sprouting on the base and outer corner of my eyelashes. the sprouts have grown about 3 mm long. i had uneven lashes prior to using this product. i had some that were about half the length of my longest lashes but had grown up to par with the rest of them after using this product. As for the overall lash growth i have definitely noticed a difference, not a big one, but enough to be noticed. This is a not a miracle in a bottle, it takes time and patience to notice some change. My overall lash growth has been about 1-2 mm on the top lashes and about 2-3 mm growth on my bottom lashes. i would account the bottom growth to cutting down on the eyeliner though. it made a difference. my lashes are healthier and stronger after using this product. i have less lashes falling off. i would recommend this product to anyone who has the patience to wait for results.

i'm asian.
i have short lashes....
they are stiffly straight...
and Talika lipocils did nothing to lengthen/thicken my lashes...
therefore,,, i just wasted $40 for nothing.
not happy...
however, i only lose about three lashes within the last month that i have been using it..so i guess it strengthens/conditions the lashes.
but still, i didnt pay $40 dollars for that purpose... so...
just use your money and buy some red cherry lashes and DUO lash glue... =)

Works, but I'm not too impressed. Didn't make my eyelashes grow that much longer though it did fill out a lot of bald spots. It worked better on my lower lashes.
It didn't help thicken my lashes and certainly did not stop my lashes from falling out. In fact they fell out more?!
To be honest, the eyebrow lipocils actually work a lot better than the eyelash lipocils. Doesn't make sense but it's true! I forgot to bring my eyelash lipocils to my bfs place one night, so I used the eyebrow ones and they made this originally bold spot in my lower lash grow almost 2mm :) I've been using the eyebrow lipocils now, they work a lot better.
I'm asian, maybe it differs with genetic build?

So, to my own great surprise, I find this product works and I am giving it 5 stars. Well, well, well! I must say I did not believe it would.
When I first got it, I was pleased that it did not make my lashes crispy or crunchy. It made them feel very soft and supple, maybe like I had applied a thin layer of some kind of wax on them.
Secondly, this did not irritate my eyes!
Thirdly, I was wondering if this would look horrible on, or start to flake during the day, or leave a whitish residue, or something nasty. It did not!
Actually, it made my lashes look a lot better than going without.
I have now used it for a bit over 28 days (am still continuing of course!), and I must say I only really saw results during the last few days. So, if you buy this, be sure to use it for 4 weeks before you judge its effectiviness!
Some lashes are longer than they normally would be, and I feel like my lashes are strong and supple. Also, maybe, just maybe, my lower lashes are better than before. What a pity I did not take photos! No, it does not look like I am wearing falsies, but I am definately having better lashes than before!
Ironically enough, the results are as good as those I got with Revitalash - which irritated my eyes + lash line, and got me worried about side effects.
As you know, Talika works by letting the lashes grow to their natural maximum length. It does not stimulate the growth. Well it looks like I lost lots of lashes before they ever got the chance to perform their personal best! Oh btw I am not losing lashes like I did before. (I have got the horrible habit of rubbing my eyes.)
When applying, you should be sure to get it near the lash line plus then use it as you would a mascara. Use it twice a day for 28 days, then once a day.
What can I say? The price is not too bad, and I think the tube will last me a couple of months. I will buy another tube, and keep using this forever, no prob!
Oh, and they are not paying me to say any of this and Talika is not affiliated with me in any way! Lol.
Update - I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! BTW it keeps the curl very well, I curn my lashes after having applied this + it has dried completely. Mmmmm.....
EDIT: Still loving this. I use this as a colorless mascara during daytime. It looks great!
My only worry is, are they going to discontinue Talika Lipocils now they have a new one, Talika Expert, on the market? :O(

This product truly works. Many thanks to the reviewer who mentioned Lumigan-Latisse - I didn't know about those issues and am relieved to know that Lipocils doesn't contain these additives. I bought a tube several months ago and began to notice results very quickly. My eyelashes have always been naturally long and dark, but after years of waterproof mascara were not quite what they used to be. This product has made them look like they did when I was 20. My husband has noticed and commented on numerous occasions how beautiful they look. As a corollary, though, I have also switched from long-time use of Clinique's Gentle Waterproof mascara (which I loved for its natural look) to its Lash Power mascara, which also looks quite natural, is waterpoof up to 102 degrees (a warm bath, basically), and then comes off with just water. I think that has helped as well. But I've kind of gotten lazy about using Lipocils lately, and think the difference is noticeable - I want to get back on track because this really is an excellent product and worth the effort. I have not tried any less expensive alternatives, so can't speak to those, but think this one merits its price tag (and would certainly be wary of products containing the ingredients described by RavenBeauty below). The Sephora MA was kind enough to tell me to use this on brows, too, and not to waste money on the separate brow product. All in all - for me, at any rate - this is a gem.

After using religiously ( I only apply at night) for 3 months, I can honestly say this product just didn't do anything for my lashes. The only thing I can say positive is that I don't seem to have any lash fallout, but this did not make them longer in any way. Maybe a wee bit thicker, but not a huge difference that I would buy this again.
I guess I may have to break down and buy Lilash. This also takes a few minutes to dry and while it's wet it stings a little. I guess I will take the suggestions here and really layer it on the root area, so I can use it up and see if it works that way.

On my third tube of this now! I don't use it enough to be honest, just now and again rather than every day like you are supposed to so haven't noticed any difference in the length of my lashes! It has however improved the condition and strength of my eyelashes and for a reasonable price! Thats good enough for me :D

I'm on my second tube of this stuff...and what can I say, be patient and you will see for yourself. After the first tube, I didn't really witness any "greatness" ... somehow, needing a "fix", I went and bought a second tube (along with the cream for the PM). Religiously continued with the second tube in the AM, cream in the PM. A month or so later and I started to really notice. Longer, fuller...mostly longer though. Very nice. Makes the mascara look better for sure. I have average lashes, they are still average - this isn't going to give you Elsie the Cow lashes...but they are better and it is noticeable. Really clearly noticeable.
EDIT: this might be interesting to you Talika Lipocils users and it took me a while to figure it out but... I was having issues with my mascara - smudging, giving me raccoon eyes by 10am. This had never happened in the past and I went through changing my mascara, my eyeliner - basically all the "wet" eye makeup. Then I thought about not putting on my Talika...when I didn't, the smudging stopped (even though I put mascara only on my top lashes). That was it. The cause of the eye makeup not staying on as well throughout the day.
Basically, after you do the "cure" of the first 28 days or so 2x a day, my advice would be to stop using in the AM under the mascara and keep on doing it every night if you are having mascara/eyeliner staying issues and are using Talika in the AM under your makeup.

I love this product. Initially I was looking for a product to help with my eyelashes. I had lost some in the middle of one eyelash and felt like my eyes looked pretty funny, but all the products out there to help with eyelashes are sooooo expensive and can have harmful effects on your eyes. HSN had a smaller container of this product for a lesser cost (supposedly a 28 day supply) that lasted me for several months using it 1x/day. I was thrilled with the results!!! My eyelashes grew back fullyer and longer! Also, I now have a curl to my lashes and don't have to use an eyelash curler anymore. As a bonus, my mascara goes on smoother as well making it easier to separate my lashes. When I finally ran out of the smaller container, I went to Sephora and bought the full size for $40. I will continue to use this product!!!

Very good product. It actually lengthened my existing lashes and helped them get thicker. I also noticed I have more lashes than I used to have.

Ok well i've used lipocils for about 2 years now. I use it religiously, it has become as much a part of my grooming routine as cleansing and moisturising. When i first started using it, after about 3 weeks I noticed little black dots on my lash line where new lashes were being formed! I must add that before Lipocils my lashes were ok, just normal really.
Anyway the change Lipocils gave was quite gradual so I can't say I really noticed it myself but I get compliments almost daily on my thick long lashes. It doesn't matter what mascara i use, in fact i've ditched my expensive ones for drug store alternatives as my desired look is so much easier to achieve.
If you're expecting growth that you will notice immediately then you will be dissapointed. Over time though, there will be a marked difference in your lashes and their overall condition. Your lashes will still fall out (as they have to) but not as much as before, maybe just one or two at a time.
I reccommend taking a picture of your lashes before Lipocils and then another a few months later in order to appreciate the difference.
I will never be without this product, it's so easy to use and incorporate into your routine. But remeber to focus on your roots and not use it just as you would a mascara.
If you have realistic expectations then I promise you'll love this product.
P.s. i use it on my brows too if I ever do the dreaded over plucking thing by accident, your hairs will grow back really quickly!

for me, results were seen after 1 week of continuous application!
i have very sparse lashes on the upper eyelids and hardly any on the lower lids, which was why i was really excited to try this product!
like i said, after a week, i could see my eyelashes already slightly longer and some fine strands on my lower lids! the price is quite expensive, but it will last quite a while so in that respect the pricing is OK.
Definitely on my list of "needs" and not "wants" - i also noticed that if i stopped using the product, my lashes do not grow back to normal length but still maintained their length and that holds true for the lashes on my lower lids too.
HG in my book!

I've been using this product for about a month and a half and I must say I'm a pleased with the results so far. My lashes are fine, curly and brown. Since using this product they have been noticeablely darker. I'm not sure if they've gotten longer but the fact that I can see them makes me happy. They also seem thicker too. When I use a primer and mascara the results are way more impressive than they were months ago. Unless sometime dire happens this product will become one of my staples.

I must say I find this impressive. I tried Peter Thomas Roth's Lashes to Die For and was not exactly wowed, though it was not a terrible product by any means. I was even less impressed with the side effects listed in many of the other lash accelerators like Lilash, Revitalash and Latisse. Many of these accelerators are all derivatives of Prostaglandins and the Glaucoma drug Lumigan. I realize that those really do make your lashes grow like crazy, but at what cost? Here are the side effects listed by the drug company that makes Lumigan-Latisse.
Important Safety Information LUMIGAN (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% has been reported to cause darkening (pigmentation) of eye color, eyelid skin and eyelashes, as well as increased growth of eyelashes. Pigmentation changes can increase as long as LUMIGAN is used. After stopping LUMIGAN®, darkening of eye color is likely to be permanent while darkening of the eyelid skin and eyelash changes may be reversible. The effects of increased darkening beyond 5 years are not known. The most common side effects are eye redness, growth of eyelashes, and itchy eyes.
To me this is like getting breast augmentation and having the breasts deflate after a while, but the scars darken. I worked too hard on getting rid of those circles under my eyes to even risk having them permanently darken. When I wrote my review on PTR's version, I got emails from two women out here who said that they now have dark circles under their eyes from using some of the other accelerators, but that their lashes looked amazing (both stopped using them for that reason and the circles have NOT gone away). That made me even more apprehensive about trying any of the others that are all derived from this component. I was frustrated because I really do want longer lashes, however I am not willing to take these risks (especially when they tell you that your lashes will most likely return to normal size when the drug is stopped, but the bad side effects like discoloration may remain indefinitely. Also having your eyes change color is not exactly a positive either and that has indeed happened to people who had blue eyes which are now hazel because of the change in color to their iris).
I kept looking around for alternatives and finally decided to try this since it has none of those drugs in it's formula. It's all healthy stuff that helps to strengthen the lashes and promote growth in a natural way (which will of course take more time and patience). I bought a tube not expecting a lot to be honest but wow....I am actually seeing results. No my lashes are not growing like weeds, however there is a definite change taking place. I always apply this at night before going to bed and when I first applied it, my lashes looked invisible as they usually do once my mascara has been removed. After using this for a couple of weeks, I have now noticed that my lashes are not so invisible anymore when I apply this nightly! They actually seem chunkier and stronger (and you really see the difference when you apply mascara)! I also have no irritation whatsoever from using this and I have super sensitive eyes. I have not lost one lash since I began to use this and that in of itself is a real bonus for me. This is an excellent product, but don't expect falsies from this like the others may give you, however you also don't have any of those dangerous side effects either so it's a decent middle ground if you ask me. I will definitely continue to use this and will be repurchasing this product.
Editing to say that I just saw Latisse's new ad in Allure and they out and out state that your lashes will return to normal size once you stop using that drug. Well that's the nail in the coffin for me. That will definitely curb any knee-jerk impulse I might have had to just throw caution to the wind and buy some to get those runway lashes. I will definitely not be running out to try that or any of the others that have a derivative of Lumigan or any dangerous prostaglandins.
Also if you go to Drugstore.Com and look up the actual drug (Lumigan) and it's side effects, you might not want to jump on the Latisse bandwagon either. It says that it can take months and even a couple of years after using that drug to see your blue or green eyes change to brown (this does not happen right away). That it can take longer for the skin darkening to get into it's worst phase and all of those are permanent changes, but the long lashes part is not (I knew there would be a catch somewhere because all of this sounded too good to be true). For me that's a complete lose-lose situation. I don't want dark circles building up around my eyes as time goes on as well as permanent changes to my eye color or eye pressure, only to have the lashes deflate completely after usage is stopped! It would be one thing if the growth stuck around, but no way would I want to continue to risk my eyes by using that constantly to keep my lashes long! Not only would that be outrageously expensive to keep up, but obviously the longer you use the drug the more potential there is for long term problems. No thank you! I guess I will be sticking with the gentler ones like this one no matter what. Lashes are important but not THAT important! At least not for me.
Updating again. I cannot believe how much this product has done for my lashes! I am truly shocked! No they are not Latisse or Lilash long, but they have changed significantly without any harsh side effects. I cannot believe how much thicker, darker and longer my lashes appear when I apply mascara. I have not changed mascara's either. The only change I made is using this at night. You can really tell after a month or so when you are using your regular mascara. Like all Lash growth accelerators, you will need to use the product for at least 2-3 months to see it's full potential. I noticed changes after only 2 weeks! My lashes are stronger too!! :)

I have been using this for about a month and a half, and while I have not noticed extremely lengthened lashes, I have noticed less fallout. And while my lashes aren't thicker, I do notice I have MORE lashes which makes the lash line appear thicker. It's not the miracle I was expecting, but my lashes feel healthier and stronger, so I will continue to purchase as lash maintenance.

I have been using talika for two weeks now and I've noticed a difference. I was very hesitant to use this product because I have severe allergy to almost all makeup but I heard talika was natural so decided to take the plunge. I have extremely sensitive skin and this stuff does not irritate my eyes or caused and allergic reaction. I have sparse and thin Asian lashes. So far there have been lots of new growth on my outer and inner lid on one of my eye only. I also have lots of growth on my bottom lashes. However my lashes did not get longer or darker. I thought the brush works fine, its a little big for my liking but it does the job. However, it is pretty annoying that I can't the contents of the tube. Overall! I highly recommend. I will do a complete review after 28 days!

I have applied Talika Lipocils religiously every morning and night for 28 days and it actually works! After only 1 week new baby eyelashes sprouted, most noticeable at the inner and outer edge of my lashline. After 2 weeks I noticed subtle length increase. Now my lashes are much longer, thicker and they hold a curl like never before! They're not at the false lash length but I'm thrilled to see my natural lashes looking so long and lush. They've never looked better!
As an eyelash conditioner/mascara primer this product is awesome! My lashes look even longer, fuller, more defined and separated when wearing Talika as a mascara primer.
This is a definite HG product for me. I will be purchasing more.

Atlas.... this is one of the products that I really hoped lived up to the Hype, but it didn't for me :( I have taken before and after pics (for my own personal comparison ) and used it religiously for 28 days now. No improvement in volume or length (okay, maybe 0.2-0.3 mm on 1 or 2 of the lashes) :( Although like so many other reviewers, my lashes did "feel stronger" and didn't fall out as much. For $40, it wasn't worth it for me to repurchase. Best of luck to those that this works on! :)
