I can't believe I haven't reviewed this already! This is my HG blush. It's absolutely amazing.
I'm NW20 and this gives me a very natural/sunkissed glow. It really is the best blush I've ever used. I'm a MAC girl at heart but I have to hand it to NARS, they've created the perfect blush here! Orgasm is always seen to be the most popular but I don't know why as it's nothing compared to Luster.
GO AND BUY THIS, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

Love love this blush. My HG blush. I can honestly say I've never been disappointed with this color and I usually second guess most of my blushes once I get home and am nO longer under some of the MUA spell. I'm pretty sure most of us buy a shade at one point bc u get the wrong sales associate making u feel like aphrodite and u look crazy once u get hOme and go look in the bathroom.. Well not with this color. Makes my look pop!!

I should have checked out this blush sooner. It's one of those shades that seems to go with everything. Unless you're wearing very cool toned pinks, this blush works with every lip/eye makeup color. It's a nude apricot, so it's not too warm and it doesn't turn a ruddy orange on my skin because I don't have oily skin. I do question the lasting power of this one, compared to my Torrid blush. I wish it was just a little more pigmented. This can go on quite sheer and just get lost in your bronzer. Despite my love for it, it may have to go back since it's $27 and not as pigmented as I'd like. You shouldn't have to layer a blush this price over a cream product. On fair skin it shows up much better. I should have noticed that when buying it.

To me Luster is like the pigmented version of Albatross. I would recommend Luster over Albatross if you are deeply pigmented. Don't get me wrong, I like Albatross but on my skin tone, it looks a bit ashy on my cheeks and I hate the ashy look. As of date, Albatross is regulated to the role of brow highlighter. Luster is currently my go to highlighter. Ladies of a deeper shade, please get Luster over Albatross.

Update 08/09/2011: I am a NW45/NW50 for reference.

I've been eyeing this blush for the longest time! It's got a gorgeous golden peachy bronze color that absolutely gives you the most amazing glow and it's just so silky smooth. It'll really look good on any skintone. Perfect all over color to brighten up your skintone. Worth putting in my HG list.

I bought this product yesterday and I am totally in love with it (as of now). Although it was expensive (A$49), the colour is really pigmented and gives you a fresh, slightly bronzed glow. It's more peach than bronze, without any pinks.
I wanted orgasm/deep throat at first but those blushes were a little too pink, and the sales rep told me I would suit this colour (I'm NC35). It's very buildable, but I did have to layer a few times to get the deeper peachy glow I was after.

My favorite spring blush! Gives a light peachy color and a healthy glow. The color payoff is subtle but in a mellow natural flush way, very pretty. The only downside with that is half way though the day I have to reapply. Other than that no other complaints.

This is my first Nars product I have purchased. I normally use Georgia by Benefit. After reading good reviews about Nars I decided to purchase a blusher from them. I originally wanted Orgasm or Super Orgasm but they were sold out on ASOS so I went for Luster.

This blush is highly pigmented, so you need the smallest amount.
It's a great colour. Just need a tiny sweep over the cheekbones and it's a nice look.

i had been lusting (no pun intended) after this product for a good 3 years then finally made the jump when i decided orgasm (which i'm not a huge fan of it but it was sitting in my traincase) was boring me. i'm so glad i finally did. luster is a gorgeous golden apricot shade without any pink tones to it. it works well with when i have a tan and when i don't have a tan. for the record, i usually wear a medium foundation with neutral undertones. i've actually reached the bottom of my pan and may have to re-purchase in a month or so. it has a bit of shimmer to it but nothing that is crazy glittery or like a disco ball. nars blushes are definitely high quality and last for a long time, this one lasted me about 1.5 years. packaging is the sleek nars packaging we've come to know and love and fit well in a makeup bag. time for a restock!

I admit I went to the store to buy Torrid but it was sold out. I had read the great reviews on Luster so decided to try it (got the last one). So glad I did! It looks like nothing in the pan, I did not think it would even show up on me. I am NW 30, olive skin that I often tan with self-tanner. Well, to my surprise it showed up great! It is a perfect color, it has bronzing properties but still gives a pop of color to brighten the face at the same time. Love it! I still want Torrid, which is a more intense color, but am so happy I got this. I also have Orgasm and Mata Hari. I prefer Luster over both (Orgasm was a disappointment to me, I do like Mata Hari, especially when I am feeling washed out). But Luster is my new favorite. For olive skinned and tanned girls, you must get Luster!

Towards the end of a recent trip to Thailand, I went NUTS at the NARS duty free counter in the Airport. I think I brought 5-6 NARS blush.
Luster is an amazing colours, and I find Luster, Madly and Oasis soo far to be that perfect blush for people who skin is about NC30 like me. I also have Lovejoy, which I know I would like judging by the colour in the pan, but haven't got a chance to try it yet, therefore it cannot be included in this group yet.
These shade of peachy, brownish pink blushes from Nars, just tend to give my face that extra glow, that I have not yet seen in any other brand.

This is one of my favorite blushes that I own. The color is GORGEOUS! I own a lot of Mac Blushes but only 2 Nars Blushes but I use this one probably the most, especially in the spring/summer. This is a peachy color on my cheeks, it gives me such a nice glow! I love it!
It also applies so smoothly, not powdery at all! You really do get what you pay for with Nars Blushes.
I have read that Lauren Conrad's makeup artist uses this on her all the time and I can definitely see why!
For reference, I am an NC 40.

This is awesome! I have NC30 skin tone and this looks so pretty. It doesn't deposit much color, which I like, but makes your skin look healthy. It is a golden-apricot color but has luminosity to it. The MUA told me she uses this over bronzer, in the cheek area and you should try it! Awesome tip for the spring/summer. Does not overdo any look. I love Nars blushes and this is my fav.

Luster is a gorgeous golden peach with a gold sheen. On my medium with yellow undertone skin tone, Luster pulls a little orangy red. Very terracotta. It looks super shimmery in the pan, but on the cheeks its much more subtle. I originally purchased this because I thought it would be a great bronzer. It kind of looked like Laguna to me... But its completely different. Luster doesn't have that brown/tan tone to it. Its best suited as just a blush. Its sort of similar to Nars Irresistiblement bronzer in color (only Luster has more shimmer) and it also reminds me a bit of MAC Light over Dark mineralized blush.. Only less intense. I love Luster and I think anyone would look good wearing it.

I actually walked into sephora wanting to buy the nars orgasm blush because heard so many good things about it! But I saw luster instead and fell in love with it!

I love the peachy/orangey color on my skin. It has a slight shimmer to it but it looks really pretty. You don't need much during the day but I do pack it in if I go out at night. It looks like a natural flush on my skintone.

I will definitely repurchase! :)

EDIT: the blush palette cracked in my makeup bag :( i don't understand why because i don't throw my makeup bag around. i ended up depotting it into a plastic container. love this blush too much to be throwing it away!

My 1st Nars blush. I bought this w/o trying it in store and I don't regret buying this! But on me this is nothing special. On me it's an orangish brown color (terracotta?) but I like the subtle golden shimmer. Hopefully it looks better in the summer when I'm a bit tan.

Price: $27 @ Sephora

I love this blush, it is absolutely gorgeous. It totally warms up my skin and makes me look awake and glowing. It is a peachy, bronzey look that is stunning. I usually go for pink blush, but I'm glad I picked it up, makes me look more awake too!

This is probably the most underrated Nars product. It took me forever to find a natural looking peach blush, Torrid looked way too bright on my NC30 skin. Luster is shimmery but does give you that "glow within" look as described below. I love this color, this and Lovejoy are my all time two favorite colors.
