I love it love it love it! I finally found something that helps my inflamed acne and smooths out my skin. It also reduces the redness and scars. It is non-greasy and tightens the pores. I also bought the tea tree toner, facial mask and clearing lotion (which is even better). After one month of use my skin looks totally transformed!

i find this to be ineffective if you have active acne at the moment. it really doesn't do anything. i noticed the first couple of days i woke up with a noticeable improvement in my skin, but seeing how i still have active acne, it could only do so much for now. i will try using it again after my acne is under better control. it's a good product to try out if you no longer have acne and are looking for a bit of a glow.

I tried this product when there was a discount, and I really liked it. It's pretty moisturizing and seems to help my acne. It's a small bottle though and runs out pretty fast, so I'd only re-purchase if there was a discount.
Update July 2012: Despite the price, I've been using this almost every night for some time now, and I really like it. I think the tamanu oil is a big reason why it works so well. I've actually bought some pure tamanu oil and use only that sometimes, amazing stuff! Anyway, this night lotion and the face mask are the only products I like from the tea tree oil line at TBS.

Very pleasantly surprised with this product from TBS..I've never tried anything from their skin care department but decided to buy this on a whim and am glad I did. After only a few nights the acne scars on my chin and forehead were significantly reduced. Mind you, I don't have severe acne so I wouldn't know how effective it would be on deep scars but my results got me pumped to keep using it. Now after a solid week of using it, my pores have shrunk, acne scars reduced and my complexion just looks more even. Thumbs up for me!

Not bad, I use this on my random pimply nights only after using the wash/toner.

I have been using this since December 2009 when it was on sale for $10 at The Body Shop. Before I began using mine, my friend who works at the store gave me a sample to try. I'm still working on finishing that sample up and it's been three months. Depending on how much of the product you use, it can last you a good couple of months.
Ever since I began using this product, I noticed that I don't break out at all except for that time of the month. Also, I do not use the lotion all over my face or on its own. I apply it on top of my moisturizer once it has been absorbed into the skin. I apply it only on the areas of my face where I am prone to break outs.
Since it works for me, I wouldn't mind buying this again keeping in mind how expensive this product is. It lasts a long time (as aforementioned) so it's definitely worth the price. If you're skeptical about this product, ask a sales associate to give you a sample before deciding on whether or not you should buy it.

Here's a brief b/g of my skin in case it might be helpful... I have acne from genes and probably crazy hormones or whatnot (I'm under 18 so still growing -- "in that stage"). Eat a moderately healthy diet, not lots of junk food, but my skin still gets oily. No makeup. I use Cetaphil for cleanser though, because my skin is also sensitive.
The Tea Tree products at The Body Shop are a little overly priced but I had a coupon and heard good things about it. They have a lot of sales (recently a buy 2, get 1 free for all skincare) so I would recommend getting it then. I have been using this bottle for probably about 1 1/2 months and I think it may be running out soon, but sometimes I think I tend to accidentally go overboard with the application.
I really like the packaging of this, it comes out in nice portions as a pump. You are rubbing it on your face and it goes on pretty lightweight so you feel you need to keep piling it up--don't! It is a waste if you do. It does make your skin feel a little sticky but not to a bothersome point. Sometimes I use this in the day, I don't think there is really a huge difference. The smell is not great. The Body Shop apparently thinks it has a great "natural aroma" but it is really not special at all. If you do choose to use this during the day, definitely be careful as to how much you are putting on, because it could send off a bad smell.
Ok, as to the results... in the first few days I really saw some good results with post-blemish marks (as it says it will do). It is a blemish FADE lotion so they really just fade but not completely disappear. But they fade to be much less noticeable. After using it for a week or two I saw less results from it. It doesn't really help as much with new acne/breakouts as much as it does with old blemish marks. It is a very good moisturizer and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy (in fact like I said earlier, it mostly makes your face feel sticky.) Despite its inability to really handle breakouts, I still like to use this for what it is actually intended for -- post-acne/blemish marks. Also I am starting to notice that it may be helping with redness marks. Overall, I do like this product and will buy it again even if I can't get it on sale.

I tried this product in conjunction with The Body Shop's seaweed skincare range just to try and get rid of any blemishes that I sometimes get. I was very disappointed as I feel it made little/no effect. The tea tree stick is much better. It's nice that this is a cream you can apply all over your face and the tea tree feels nice and soothing (although it does have a very strong smell but I didn't mind it) but I found that it didn't sink into the skin very well which became a bit annoying. I'd recommend using a decent face scrub and the tea tree stick to help with spots instead.

I would suggest you to smell this product first before bringing it home, because the smell is quite off putting. This is my first tea tree oil product, therefore I wasn;t too use to the smell initially. Now I still don't think this is the best smelling product, but at least this smell doesn't linger onto the next day.
As to how well this helped my skin, my skin tone did even out, my pores shrunk.I don't see any new pimples and i don't really see much difference in my acne pigmentation yet. (I've been using this non-regularly for two weeks, so maybe that's why) My skin is SUPER soft after applying it though. so I always have to resist touching my face.
It is a relatively small bottle for a hefty price, but I realized you usually don't need more than two pumps to cover your face. The lotion is of thin consistency, so it spreads very nicely and feels very light compared to other night creams. Despite the formula feeling very light on your skin, this is actually very moisturizing!

I have very bad acne and have been looking for something to help clear it up. This product has helped reduce my scars by A LOT! I really saw a different within about a week and a half to two. I'm not too sure about clearing my acne but it seems to speed up the healing process. I absolutely love, love, love it!!

I absolutely love this product. It feels so good on my skin and it feels as if its treating my skin. I'm not sure if it actually prevents pimples but I have gotten less pimples since using this product. I'm not sure its because of this product though. It also leaves my skin feeling a little dry so I usually follow up with another moisturizer.

Love this product because it saved my skin after I broke out from another moisturizer. Decided to go back to it because I thought my skin couldn't get any worse.
I use it both in the day and at night, the oil control is also pretty decent. It sped up the healing process of my break outs but it is quite expensive for a moisturizer. It did fade out some of my blemishes when I used it consistently in the past.

This is good, not great. It's a light lotion, nicer texture than using tea tree oil on your face. It helped slightly with redness and calming down and drying small breakouts. It's good when you want a lightweight night lotion in winter for acne. I also like the pump bottle. But like all Body Shop skincare, too expensive! Wait for a sale.

This lotion helped keep my skin clear. However, I use it as a treatment instead of a lotion, meaning, I top it up with a moisturizer after applying this because it isn't moisturizing enough for me. I have dry-normal skin.

This didn't do anything for my skin even though I finished the entire bottle. Didn't fade pimples nor prevent new ones or help with redness. I guess it moisturized but thats about it. I would not buy this again, waste of money in my opinion.

It's okay. Didn't fade my blemishes... didn't stop growing new pimples. Didn't grow more pimples though.
I love the packaging but the product is nothing spectacular, seriously. And it's so expensive for so little product. Unless you catch it on sale, I don't think this is worth it!

This is the first lotion I ever found leaving my skin oil free by morning. Other than that, it didn't do much for me.
