This is my absolute favorite shampoo ever!!! I have very thick hair and always have had problems w/ my hair feeling dried out by shampoo, but this is great. It is expensive, but worth the price.....i do wish it came in a larger bottle.

This product smells gorgeous and leaves your hair soft and shiny. I use it with a Kerastase Masquintense once a week and it's very nice. I am a firm believer in using good quality products on my hair to keep it in good condition. I have naturally curly hair but like to straighten it and dye on a regular basis so this shampoo certainly helps to look after it.

I wanted to love this. I wanted it to be everything I read it would be. It smells only OK. It lathers nicely. It makes my hair feel very light, which makes me worry that it's drying it out. But still I used it, hoping for the magical transformation. Today, after about 3 weeks of continually using this product, I noticed that way more hairs than usual fell out after my shower. Perplexed, I looked in the mirror and saw little flakes! Near my scalp! I have never had flakes in my entire 30 years of existence. This stuff is drying out my scalp and I cannot use it anymore. Bummer!

I used this after the stylist suggested that Bain Satin 1 was better than the Bain Satin 3 that I had tried. And the stylist was wrong. this stuff is horrible and dried out my curly hair. I gave it to my friends with straight hair and they didn't like it either and it actually dried out their hair as well. Horrible stuff.

most Kerastase shampoos are good and mild, but this one is expensive and full of harmful chemicals.

I started using JASON JOJOBA SHAMPOO and i highly recommend for somebody, who wants fantastic results.I tried many products starting from expensive brands Rusk, Abba,KMS, Kerastase,Clinique finishing natural brands like Weleda.
I have baby thin, wawy oily hair with dry ends.
i use Jojoba's shampoo and results are better compare with Kerastase .and even without conditioning my hair is moisturised, shine, very very soft and full of body.
My husband has dry hair and the shampoo is the best as well!!!!
highly recommended.

This works good. I like the way it smells, I only need to use a qauter sized amount for my hair, and it leaves it soft. Its just expensive, therefore the four rating, but I would purchase it again when I have the money. I might even try shampoo #2. edit: This is now my HG. I've been using it consistently for a week and i'm beginning to see a definite improvement in my hair's texture.

I have been using this for about five years now. I really love this stuff. My hair is super fine and I foil it every six months. I have to use this shampoo to keep it soft and to avoid breakage. I know this stuff is great because when I went on vacation and forgot my shampoo, I was using the hotel shampoo, I could not comb through my hair.
This stuff if great.

My favorite shampoo in the world, makes my hair extremely soft, silky, manageable, my hair is never dry and always looks great thanks to Kerastase.

I really like this shampoo--wonderful scent and left my hair feeling light, clean and shiny. I deduct a point because small-ish bottle, big price. But, I'd still buy it again.

Oh my gosh, this stuff rocks! I have been using this for a couple of years now, and I can say that I can't live without it. I can totally see a difference if I don't use this shampoo. I have fine, dry hair and a lot of shampoos end of weighing my hair down. I also highlight my hair so if I use a moisturizing shampoo, it always makes me look like I have a greasy scalp by the end of the night. This shampoo never does that. I can have shiny hair the next day and not have to worry about it feeling greasy. It makes my hair so soft. The only downside is that it is ridiculously expensive! Thank God for my friends in the right places.

When I first tried Kerastase Bain Satin 1 it instantly became my favorite shampoo of all time. I had a hard time finding it but finally found a website. At first I wasn't even sure what I was buying as everything on the bottle was written in French but it was fabulous stuff. But something has changed. I don't know if they changed the formula or if the FDA made them change something so it could be exported to the US but the scent is now detergent-smelling and the shampoo is harsh. What an expensive disappoinment. Update: A new hairstylist switched me to Bain Satin 3 and WOW - once again Kerestase is my HG of haircare products!

Love, love love Kerastase and their shampoos leave my hair so shiny and bouncy. My favourite is Oleo Relax - but I love Bain Satin as well.

This is definately pricey. :) I bought it because I want to rescue my damaged coloured long hair. At the first week, it really worked on my hair, after a while it tend to build up on my scalp and my hair soon become oily. Soon, my hair just back to its normal damaged condition. So, I converted to Satin 3. It also not suitable for me. =(

This is by far one of the BEST shampoos ever made! It makes my hair feel so soft and moisturized, yet it doesn't weigh it down at all. It leaves my hair feeling bouncy and light, but full. I have fine-medium, wavy hair that I blow dry, and I also have hard water, and this STILL works wonderfully! Since I don't like protein products, I don't use the conditioner, but this shampoo makes the hair feel soft enough to only use a light leave-in conditioner afterwards. I wish it didn't contain a lot of dimethicone so I could use it every day! It IS quite expensive (about $25 for 8 ounces), so that's another reason why I don't use it everyday, but it is certainly well worth it! My hair also stays clean/not oily much longer! It's a very big difference from any other shampoo I've ever tried.

Expensive but so worth it. My hair is straight, natural blonde with highlights. I condition my hair a lot because I am often in the salt water. I do not have a lot of dryness except right after highlights. This Shampoo is fabulous. The shine it gives is very well, so it does not take much. It leaves my hair soft, full and shiny. It has a nice smell too. I do use other shampoos every 5-6 times because I have always done that. However my hair never looks or feels as good as when I use Kerastase. When we have house guests I often let them try it and I have yet to find one that didn't have to have it! You can buy the 32 ounce which does save you a little but the better buys are on Ebay. I paid full price on websites the first few times and found a couple of sellers on Ebay that have better prices.

This is the best shampoo I've ever tried. It gives my hair body and leaves it soft and frizz-free. It is expensive -- around $24 for an 8.5 oz. bottle. But it's worth it. My sister is a hairdresser, so I've tried practically every shampoo out there. It is hard to find right now. It seems only high-end salons carry it. But drugstore.com is selling it for $22.94. They're out of the matching conditioner at the moment though. I haven't tried that yet.

Finally, came into some extra money and went out to get this Shampoo that I have not only heard raves about on this site, but also made In Style Magazine's Best Beauty Buys this month. After only one use, I am a convert! I have fine hair with highlights and low lights and was beginning to get some breakage...after a wash with this and the Lait Vital Conditioner, my hair was instantly smooth without loosing any body. This is the only shampoo/conditioner combo I have ever used that made a noticeable difference after one application. My hair was so smooth that I didn't even need as much of my finishing product to seal the ends! Very pricey, but worth it!

I like this. It makes my hair feel good, the smell doesn't offend me - prefer Oleo relax shampoo though. I'm going to try Bain Satin 2 next.

Nothing in the world beats the products of Kerastase, its the only hair line I use. Every time I use a Kerastase product I feel like I just came out of the world's most prestigious salon.

Great shampoo. I've been using it now for two weeks and love how my hair feels. The smell is pleasant enough, not over powering.
I'm going to try the Oscar Blandi crema shampoo and conditioner next too see which I like best.
