I love this scent. It is very sweet, but not overly so and the bath gel, lotion, and body spray are the usual great quality of this product. This is a wonderful, warmish, berry with pomegranate scent, love it!

Obviously this is either a love it or hate it product, but I'm a huge fan. I almost didn't buy it in the store bc I didn't like the smell right out of the bottle, but it wears really well on me and I've actually gotten complements while wearing this which has never happened to me while wearing what's really a fairly cheap body lotion. I don't find it overpowering, and the initial sweetness of it goes away on me as this dries down; it smells totally different (and much better) as it dries. I will definitely repurchase this.

I hated this scent upon first and second sniff...but now have done a 180 degree turnaround on it. The body spray is sweeter and fruitier than the shower gel, but it still has that spicy, bold base which can tend to be a little on the masculine side, especially if you are not used to it. I get some peach/very fruity sniffs in the first hour but then the dry down is spicy, sensual and melds well with my skin. Here are the notes:
"Pomegranate, Sparkling Citrus, Dewberry, Anise, Cinnamon, Nutmeg
Fragrance Mid Notes: Cassis, Black Berry, Iris, Jasmine, Raspberry
Fragrance Base Notes: Musk, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Tobacco, Patchouli."
Definitely a grown-up scent from Bath and Body Works. This, the sensual amber, and the Blackberry Amber are wonderful new sophisticated scents from them.

This is my best friend's favorite Bath and Body Works scent and also one of mine. The scent is kind of a cross between a woodsy and a fruity fragrance that is very becoming and flattering. This is very sophisticated and feminine in my opinion, however, it is not heavy or overtly bold either which I like. It can be worn lightly or built up for a more intense smell like most all Bath andBody Works scents. I love pretty much all of them wholeheartedly , but this one is quite unique.

I wholeheartedly agree with uplate's review. I would die if stuck in an elevator with someone wearing this horrible scent. It smells like rotting fruit to me. Petrified rotting fruit from h*ll.
This is the 1st scent I have ever thrown away because I cannot even give it to my daughter's since I would die if they sprayed it LOL
This scent is wrong on so many levels and I am not one to usually hate a scent.

ICK as perfume or lotion, too strong, sharp for me. this is okay as a body wash though, but still not my favorite.

I am really not sure why there are so many bad reviews on this scent. I guess just personal preference. :-D I really like it!! I think it smells like candy..well, on me it does, maybe not on everyone. It has a tropical smell. You have to check how it smells with you're body chemistry though, but I have had several compliments and my husband loves the smell too. (Big Plus) It doesn't last all day, but if you layer it will last quite a while. I don't always go by what these reviews say if I did I would have bought the sensual Amber and I really didn't like that one. Too Masculine on me...

Oh. My. God. This is DISGUSTING. I am not one to type in ALL CAPS in a review, but I must emphasize how GROSS this is. I smell nothing tart or fruity. All I smell is pepper and patchouli. I LOATHE patchouli. Aside from that, it's overwhelmingly spicy and masculine. I only hope I'm never trapped in an elevator with someone wearing this scent.

I'm not too thrilled by the scent of Midnight Pomegranate. I was expecting something ripe, lush and juicy but what I get instead is an odd combination of sweet woody incense and musky fruit. The resultant smell is reminiscent of naphthalene balls coated in tooth-achingly sweet syrup. I own this scent in body lotion and shower gel form, both of which are minis received from a kind swapper. The shower gel performs well as a body cleanser, lathering well and rinsing off to leave skin feeling fresh but not luxuriously soft. The lotion is nothing fantastic either, its moisturizing properties are average at best and it does smell a tad better than the shower gel. I cannot foresee myself purchasing either though. BBW has come up with plenty of fantastic scents, most of which I absolutely adore, but I'll be giving Midnight Pomegranate a wide berth in the future.

I'm a little surprised about the negative reviews on this. I went to the semi-annual sale recently and had a ton of stuff in my bag. I had sprayed on some midnight pomegranate in the store, but ended up buying a lot of other scents. On my way home I kept smelling something wonderful and realized after I got home and went through my bags, I didn't purchase that amazing smelling spray! The next day I went to a movie with a friend and she smelled great. Guess what she was wearing? You guessed it, midnight pomegranate, specifically the lotion. So I had to go back and purchase the whole set, shower gel, lotion and spray. Yummy!! It's one of the longer-lasting scents, but doesn't have an overpowering or overly sweet smell. It's not too fruity either and I'm usually a woodsy/oriental scent sort of person.

i am surprised to hear the negative reviews here as well on this one because i actually LOVE this scent and pomegranate-scented stuff in general. it's fresh, light, and just right for a daytime lift. i own the body lotion, the gel, the spray, as well as the eau de toilette in this scent. would definitely buy again. to each their own, i guess. :)

Despite all the negative reviews, I actually quite like the fragrance! I chose this in a swap without smelling it first, and I was very happy with it. There is something in this that reminds me of Givenchy's Rewind from years ago - that has some sort of cherry note to it. I like it because it is different than other body sprays, smells fruity and fresh, and brings back memories of my youth. Will purchase again!

I have decided to amend my earlier review. I absolutely abhor this. I have tried wearing this a few times and have done my best to give this a proper chance, but it is just not going to happen. Every time I spray, sniff, or mist this, I get a horrible headache. There may be a slight hint of pomegranate in this fragrance but it is completely masked by something vile and chemical smelling. This reminds me of a cheap air freshener, the industrial kind used to scent a public rest room. Several have commented that this is a pomegranate version of Sensual Amber and I could not diagree more. I love sensual amber, hate this. The two have nothing in common, only the fact that they come from the same store and share the same classy packaging. I really like the new labels that Bath and Body Works have put on their products - very appealing. I will not repurchase this.

I have the spray in this and I don't really like it. I don't really think it smells that great. Kind of like pomegranate with a rubber undertone. Will not repurchase.

I have this fragrance in body wash, body spray and lotion. The formulas of all these products are nice and very pleasant to use.

The fragrance is where MP loses points...it smells like cough medicine. Now I like Dimetapp as much as the next person, but do I really want to SMELL like it??? No, I don't. If you don't either, skip this one. (The new B&BW packaging is very nice...love the new black labels!)

Hmm picked this up at the counter for one dollar. I cant say I like it alot, but I dont hate it either. Its an average fruity smell, has notes in it that remind me of Henri Bendel's Wild Fig, but not exactly the same. It also slightly smells cranberryish. Its kind of a generic fruity scent that would be good for everyday hanging around. I wouldnt rush the store for it, lol.

I also got a trial size item of this in the body splash. This is very fruity, not sure of how close to actual pomegranite, but not annoyingly so. Fruity and a bit of amber is what I detect with the amber note being similar to the one in B&BW's Sensual Amber body splash. Don't know if there is amber in there but it smells like it to me. This smells VERY similar to Yves Rocher's Ode a L'Amour which I do know has an amber note in it. Will be buying more when the full size items are out next month.
