I have a sort of love/hate relationship with this blush. This was the first NARS blush that purchased and I actually bought it because I wanted super orgasm but, like many others have said, Orgasm looks HORRIBLE on me. this looked like the next best thing to it, a bit darker, less peach, more of a dusty pink but with glitter like super orgasm. So in general I was pretty happy with it. It turns out that I don't wear it very much though I am starting to see that it looks better on me when I am tan. I wore it today combined with a touch of bronzer and dolce vita lipstick and it looked great. I think I will be wearing this a lot more in the coming months. Probably won't ever buy this again because I can't foresee actually running out of it!

I need to say that I think this is way better than everyone's beloved "Orgasm," at least for tan-skinned or darker folks like me. Orgasm looked very gross and un-natural on me. However, I LOVE this is always recommend this to everybody I know. First off, it comes in the sleek Nars black matte packaging. However, I don't like the material because stuff always seems to stick to it and if the blush gets on the outside, it sticks and I have to clean it off with a baby wipe. As for the inside content, it is perfect. It is the best blush I have ever used. Prior to this, I was using Lorac's "Soul" and they are in the same color family but Oasis is a little deeper than Soul with more noticeable sparkles. Oasis is kind of like the color of a brick to me -but with pink. Light-red, brown, some pink, and a touch of gold champagne shimmer. It looks wonderful and natural, yet dramatic, on the skin. It really brings out the cheek bones but not in a "Look at me I'm wearing blush!" type way. It goes on smooth and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin & dry skin. I like to pair it with Smashbox's Soft Lights in "Shimmer."

The reviewer below me is spot on. I initially was going to get Sin because of its popularity, but I felt that its cool berry tone somehow looked a bit off on my warm toned skin. I then swatched Oasis and its much warmer rose convinced me to try it out. I personally like the gold sparkles; they're not as big as, say, Urban Decay shadow sparkles, and don't show up as garish on the skin. This is one of the few NARS blushes I can apply with a normal blush brush and have it not look too garish on my NC20/25 skin. It gives me a perfect rosey cheek with a bit of sparkle (though if you are absolutely against the sparkle, just use a stippling brush and you won't get any). Being an avid NARS collector, I can't say that I'll never purchase Sin, but if you are a warm-toned gal like me I'd say try Oasis first because it isn't necessary to have both.

Sin made me look bruised and hag-like, but Oasis, with its rosier and warmer tones is perfect for me. Great quality. The sparkles work well embedded in this color--they're not gaudy and did not accent flaws on bare skin. A tap of the blush before application makes the sparkle less apparent. Oasis is a matte blush embedded with refined sparkles, which I prefer, rather than a blush with "sheen", which accents skin surface & makes me look oily.

Another amazing nars blush. When I first opened this blush, it looked too shimmery, and too deeply pink for my liking. However, when I applied it, I immediately changed my mind. With a lighter hand, it gives me a rosey cheek that I can wear everyday. Or, I can also layer more color for a night-time, going out look. Definitely worth the money.

Oasis was my HG blush for a while. It's a lovely neutral shade that would complement warm and cool skintones in the very pale to moderately pale range. I'm about NC20.
Still, what's with the glitter? Don't get me wrong, I love glitter, or I should say, I like functional, visible glitter. This glitter is lame. Why not a slight shimmer (ahem, sin)?
I shouldn't complain :)

I haven't decided whether i prefer this or Orgasm yet - i think Oasis is much more wearable as the colour is a bit more subtle. Like others have said, it is more a dusty/dusky pink rather than Orgasm's brighter peach pink.
Sometimes, when the rest of your make up is bold, Orgasm may look too much, but i don't think you'd get that problem with Oasis. I think it actually tones down the natural pink in your cheeks.
Again, i will complain about NARS' blush packaging as for the price, i think they should give you a little brush, but nevermind. I love this blush for its versatility and its lovely colour, i am always a sucker for dusky pinks.

This is absolutely my favourite NARS blush of all time!! An incredibly pretty soft pink with gold glitter - the glitter isnt chunky nor hard to blend. It gives a golden overlay to the pink that is beautifully subtle and quite captivating. This is super versatile and can be worn pretty much with any look, its easy and while it is pretty pigmented it doesnt need such a light hand like so many of the other NARS blushes - you can use this one without worrying too much that you will walk away looking like a NARS clown - and we have all seen them ;)
I was tempted to take a lippie off because of the packaging - the compacts are cute and easy to use, but after a few years they are horrible no matter how many times you clean or it what you clean it with - I really dislike the surface.

I love this blush. Actually I would have to say this is my favorite NARS blush so far. I agree that the blush is like a dusty rose. It's extremely wearable. The texture is great it does have glitter but I love that about this blush. I absolutely love it and will always purchase.

Very pretty rosy pink blush with subtle gold shimmer. I would say this blush is neutral and very rosy. It can be worn in all seasons, and compliments both warm and cool toned make-up. There is shimmer and glitter in the pan, but on the skin it is very subtle. This blush is highly pigmented but stays natural looking and can be built up for more color. Oasis gives a very natural flush.

Oasis is one of those NARS blushes that doesn't go on everyone with the same result. In the pan, it looks like Sin blush with sparkles... but on my face it's decidedly less plum and more dusty rose. This would be a fantastic color were it not for the sparkles. I don't have anything against sparkles, really, but the color of this blush doesn't seem to go with the sparkles, if that makes sense. It's such a subdued color on me... it almost seems like it should be a superfine shimmer or a matte blush. (The sparkle particles are the same as Angelika blush or Voyage eyeshadow)

soo this is my first NARS blush! after all the raving about its blushes on youtube, i finally decided to get one for myself and was pleasantly surprised :) Ok so i went to the counter to actually pick up a peachy blush as i was sick of pink blushes. i had heard a lot of things about torrid being awesome, and was going to get that. however when i swatched torrid on my hand, it came out to be a very heavy peachy pink color which actually made me look sick :S no matter how lightly i tried it, it just wasnt the peach i was looking for :( but i din wna go away disappointed so i thought of looking for another blush wen dis baby caught my eye! all the other blushers looked very bright for my liking and orgasm was plain golden glitter!! din even show up on me :(. this has the most unique color ever and contained a tonne of glitter but i still got it coz it looked uuuber gorgeous in the pan. the MA on the counter was useless but wen i applied it lightly after coming home, this was stunning :D i would describe it as a bricky red brown color with deep peach undertones and a whole lot of finely milled gold glitter. but the best thing about this it that if applied with the 187, it comes very sheer. also, if u despise glitter, juz flick the brush once and then use it. on me the glitter just melted in my skin leaving a luminous glow. it is very fine glitter not chunks so its ok ii guess. it is kinda expensive for £18.50 but totally worth it, as will last aaages! also it stays put the whole day! i dont nw y this blush went away so unnoticed?! i am a NC30 for reference

First off, i can see why this product doesn't get that many good reviews. It's because of the glitter. But honeslty try sweeping (not buffing) a kabuki brush on your face and VIOLA it's a stunning (non glittery) absoulutley one of my favorites. I normally would be like eww this is annoying the glitter is grooss, but haha anyways the color is so pretty that i would take that extra time to flick off the junk.

This is a beautiful color blush, but man why the glitter?! The color alone is a great natural pinkish mauve flush, great for a smokey eye or a natural look, but the glitter is ridiculous. You can tap it off the brush and buff it out, but that's still kind of annoying. I love a shimmery blush, but why NARS adds glitter is beyond me. Glitter doesn't belong on cheeks unless you're 12, IMO.

This is, without a doubt, my favorite NARS blush until now. In the pan it looks like a neutral brown rose with a hint of plum and some serious glitter. On my NW15 skin, applied with a fluffy brush and a light hand, it gives a neutral beigey rose effect and it's one of the few neutral blushes I can actually pull off since it has pink in it. It looks very very sexy, very classy and mature and I can easily play up or down the intensity. If Sin was too bruisey for you and Madly is too brown then you should seriously try Oasis. The glitter may look intimidating in the pan but is completely workable as long as you make sure to buff well. The packaging is standard NARS: a black, sleek and cool rubbery compact that is quite sturdy but gets easily dirty. It is expensive but the color is quite original and the quality is superb so I didn't regret splurging on it. If I'm ever out of it I'll definetely repurchase.

Not my favorite of the NARS blushes. I gave this less than a glowing review because it doesn't show up on my NW45 skintone. I guess this just isn't for me. But I think it is stunning in the pan. WOuldn't recommend for dark skintones.

I absolutely love Nars Oasis! On my NC44 skin it provides a very subtle glowly rosey-nude neutral look. The obvious sparkles in the blush made me hesitant to try it out when I first saw Oasis at Sephora. However, the great thing about this blush is that the shimmery particles don't even show up on my skin. Several years ago, I had the opportunity to get Oasis in a swap, and I'm so glad I did. It has become one of my HG blushes!! Oasis looks great on my skin, much better than Nars Sin, which can look muddy and boring on some skintones.

another HG blush! at first i was hesitate about Oasis coz it look a bit 'fushia/purpleish', i'm usually a either pink or peach/coral person. was recommended by a freind and i'm so glad i gave it a try! the colour is fab on me (pale olive tone) and not 'purple' at all! just a healthy glow and the glitters are actually very little on face, not obvious at all! can't rave enough about Nars blushes! overall i've never had blushes from another line that's better quality and better in colour selections! can't wait to try other colours i want them all lol and to be honest Nars is expensive but for the quality and the amount, it's well worth it!
