This is the best drugstore mascara I've ever tried! (I'm not sure if it's drugstore or not... I got mine from the drugstore) It makes my lashes really long with just two coats and holds curl really well.

I have to say that I actually love this mascara!

For one, if I just want a little lentgh, but nothing heavy, even a tad bit of this stuff (1 coat), even makes a difference.

The brush is nice..Although I'm sure there are other mascara's much better then this...to me..for the price, this is very very good mascara!

I didn't even use an eyelash curler, and they really stayed up!!

LOve this!

Had high hopes for this mascara but it failed me. :( First of all, it flakes and hurts my eyes. It also doesn't lengthen nor volumize my lashes. Utterly disappointed. :(

I was totally sucked in by the cute name and packaging of this mascara, but considering it's about $15 AUD I thought I would give in. It's a great lengthening mascara with a little curl power and very similar in brush shape to Rimmel's Sexy Curves. But 'Doll Eyes'...squee! I'm a convert.

Amazing!! I adore this fiber based mascara! For the price, it's a fantastic quality and has risen to one of my top mascara spots. I love it more than my CG Lash Blast and Maybelline Full and Soft...it only takes a few swipes to get a full out false lash effect that stays all day. Another winner from the NYX line of cosmetics. I just need to pick up the whole dang line, I'm thinking. MUAHAHAH!

I have just found my favorite mascara! I've been searching for over a year for something that makes my short straight lashes longer and hold a curl. I was reading a makeup blog ans saw a review for this and thought i'd give it a shot. Guess what.... it works! Two coats of this stuff and i am good all day.

I really wanted to like this, however it irritates the hell out of my eyes. I do not in the slightest have sensitive eyes. And this is the first time I've ever had a mascara flake on me. That being said, it does make my lashes longer and gives them a ton more volume, wish I could wear it for more than an hour. :(

This mascara gives fantastic length and definition. Only downfall is that it doesn't hold a curled eyelash well. But I would skip that for this, the brush is a different design that gives me the control I want. I was recently using The Falsies and was disappointed in comparison to my NYX Doll Eye.

I will definitely keep this mascara around :)

I am still on my search for a DS mascara since I lost my eyelashes a couple of months ago. I like this mascara ~ it's okay. It has to be combed out at least four or five times if you wear two coats, or else it looks clumpy. It will make your lashes look very long, if you comb and brush them, which is very time consuming. Also, the the black is too dark for me. I do not like dark, black eyelashes during the day. It makes me look too old.


I think this mascara is expensive compared to some of the others that I have tried, plus I do not like to have to order it since it's not available where I live. This mascara is okay, I just wasn't that impressed. I bought the other NYX version too, so I will try that next.


Note: I do not like the new placement of the photos. When you try to enlarge the photo's to see the pictures, you cannot see the entire photo. We are seeing less of the photo than we could before. This is not helpful if the situation has swatches. Please correct this situation.

hmm...I don't know how much i like this mascara...
I got it b/c I forgot my mascara on a trip and this one of the very few available mascara at the drug store.

I have really short eyelashes and so i was very excited to try this after reading all the reviews

Length: I do think it got my lashes longer
Curve: my lashes just fell right down even after i curl it real hard

so even tho it gave me lenthg, it wasn't staying...

I was pretty excited when I bought this mascara, but that quickly went away after the first couple days. It does have alot of fibers in it, almost too much. I did get my desired length but I was never able to apply more than one coat of mascara. It quickly dries and leaves your lashes brittle. If you try doing a second coat, your lashes will just clump together. I liked the shape of the brush, and the packaging was ok, but for almost $10 I could get a drugstore brand that works better.

This is my HG mascara, i have medium asian lashes, it gives me alot of length and looks like falsies with a second coat. The only downside to this mascara is that the formula drys up within 3 month, boo. However, with this on, it doesnt smudge or flake, none of that nasty stuff and out of the 15 mascaras I own, it's the only one that i purchased again (b/c it dried out -_-"). However, if you do use this on a daily bases, you should be able to use all of the product before it drys. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ASIAN LASHES. WORKS LIKE A CHARM.

I really like it. Asides from wiping both ends off, its a great mascara. It very moisturizing to my lashes, havent had hardly any lashes fall out now for a couple weeks (sobeen using for almost 3weeks) I will deff buy again. Black is only color but thats ok cause its kind of a natural looking mascara. Your going to want it darker, less coats that way. NO FLAKING, NO clumping, NO smuding. Havent had a prob with any of these. Love it. Give it a try. What are you losing?

Im pretty happy with this mascara it gives me the lash look i like, a pretty dramatic look.
When you first open it an pull the wand out it looks pretty scary, its a bit goopey and the color looks dark grey not black but i took the chance and got it anyway. When you apply it its not dark grey at all its a nice dark black. It lengthens well, gives some volume (not a ton but a bit), doesn't flake, no clumping problem. You do have to work with it a bit though to get it to look great cause the formula is a bit dry (not like sahara dessert dry but its certainly not sea world lol) so you have to work a lil fast but even then it is already kinda dry so you have to keep working at it to get it right. It also works good paired with the Volume Doll Eye.

I <3 Nyx's doll eyes mascara in Volume. I decided to try length. I have short, stubby asian lashes.

This stuff is really good for the natural look. It added length given the fibers in the mascara (sorta like Fiberwig but 1/3 of the price). I actually reach for this everyday because it's easier to work with than the NYX volume and is more of the natural look.

To get some more volume out of this mascara i suggest putting on your setting powder last and dusting a bit of it on your lashes then applying this mascara (ONE COAT ONLY!)

I find the mascara quite waterproof and doesn't really flake unless you rub your eye. It washes easily with warm water and face wash. Depending on which batch you get..i sometimes get drier formula than others...but doesn't really impact the application, it's just something i noticed.

The bottle is really cute and chic. There's no scent and i get about 4 months wear before it stinks! The brush is the traditional bristle brush (vs. rubber cones) and is an hour glass shape.

Overall 5 lippies, cheap works and a staple in my books.

I absolutely love this mascara! It really does make your lashes longer and very well separated. It basically looks like my lashes, but more defined. No clumps or flakes whatsoever, so I think I've found my perfect mascara! For those of you who look for something with more volume or something more dramatic, this is not for you. It's a great every day mascara, and for those who are worried that it will be too dark, since it only comes in black, I have ivory skin, and did not have this problem at all. Two thumbs up, and I think I'll have to try the volume formula for when I need more dramatic lashes! :)

Edit: I have been using this for a few days, and I've noticed some stinging in my eyes. Not sure if it's related to the mascara, but I just thought I'd warn those with sensitive eyes.

I am surprised how well this mascara works! I purchased this based on the reviews here during a cherry culture sale. This mascara truly provides length to my eyelashes, does not clump or run. I will definitely purchase this again during another sale.

I just tried out this mascara today and it is pretty good, but not the best. It goes on pretty smooth, doesn't clump lashes and keeps them fairly separated. I did notice my lashes to be a bit longer. For me I have to curl my lashes after, otherwise with just the mascara on it doesn't look great and too subtle. The color is good, doesn't irritate my eyes either. Overall it is an okay product. I guess I am more for the dramatic look and this doesn't really offer that. Got it a ULTA so you know for $6.

I've been wanting to buy this for quite some time but I never lived anywhere close to where they sell it and by the time I needed a new mascara I'd just go to the drugstore and pick something up. After browsing a local small beauty supply store I was pleased to see they carried a small stock of NYX products. I was torn between the volume & the long lash version but I picked up the long lash. I'm so pleased with this mascara. I've tried nearly every drugstore mascara over the years (I don't go high end because I replace mine every 3 months) and this has to be one of the best I've tried. On me, it doesn't flake or smudge at all. It keeps my lashes long and separated with one or two coats. I'm a fair blonde so I don't like anymore than 2 coats. I just wish they would make this in a brown or brown black which looks a bit more natural on me. This is my new HG mascara for sure. I just wish it was easier to find.
