I had been using avocado oil and almond oil during the fall/winter as my facial and body moisturizers. When the weather began to change it became too heavy and started clogging my pores causing breakouts on my face and chest. After reading the reviews on MUA I decided to give this a try plus I had purchased a smaller size a few years back when I was out of town and forgotten my normal moisturizer. I think it’s a great face and body cream. It soaks in beautifully and moisturizes without being greasy or heavy. I have no ashy bits at all. I love that the scent is fresh but not too strong. I think this will be my spring/summer moisturizer going forward. Plus it's super cheap!

UPDATE: Still think this is a great light moisturizer and scent but as I got to the end of the jar I didn't find it moisturizing enough for my face. I started seeing dry patches. Serves me right for using a body moisturizer on my face. I bought a bottle of grape seed oil when I ran out of this, I may pick up another jar to use occasionally when I want a fresh scent for my body.

Strongly scented, synthetically based moistuizer.
Yes, it is effective - and surprisingly non-greasy, but I would never re-purchase it. For free (I got a one-time sample) it was fine.

Bought as a travel size tube to take on vacation and fell in love. Bought the tub the moment I got home. This is like the original (blue) Nivea's lighter, more refreshing sister. It's very easy to spread, has a lighter, fresh scent and leaves no residue on the skin surface. Sinks right in without being greasy but, like the original, is very moisturizing and leaves skin silky. Love!

UPDATE: I just went through an entire tub in 2 months, and I almost never do that -- this one's a real winner.

This sure is no miracle product. It is very moisturizing, but I can't use it on my face. I have dry skin, but this cream leaves it very oily. It also leaves me with pimples on my face, because I have very sensitive skin. This moisturizer doesn't work for me.

I bought this moisturizer because my mum recommended it to me.
(My mum has dry skin)
the following morning after I bought this, I washed my face and all that.
After i took a reasonable amount and applied it to my face but then I realized that it made my skin look very oily.
I disliked it immediately and stopped using it.
After a few days I saw it again and decided that I would try it again.
This time I applied very little and dotted it onto my face then spreaded it.
It didn't makeup my skin look oily this time!
So I suggest if you have dry skin use a reasonable amount and if you have normal skin like me then use very little. Would not recommend to people with oily skin!

Exceptional product. I have more than ten body lotions/ body butters in my bathroom right now- but this is the cheapest of all and the most beloved! That's because:
1. I LOVE the texture- somewhere between a body lotion and a body butter, not runny nor overly thick.Very smooth and soft, glides perfectly.
2. Absorbs quickly and doesn't feel sticky or oily at all.
3. The scent is fine. Nothing much, it isn't not overly perfumed. Just clean and fresh and soothing. Doesn't linger long- it's there to make application even more pleasant but will not clash with any added perfume after a while.
4. The skin feels really hydrated after application.
5. It's now the only hand cream I use, does the job beautifully and doesn't feel oily. My hands aren't dry to begin with though.
6. Can be used on my combination acne prone skin when it feels drier.
7. Packaging is classic and convenient.
6. Very affordable.

There are are no downsides for me here, is there any doubt I would buy again..?

Brought this after reading all the great reviews on MUA.
I use Nivea creme (blue tub) as a facial moisturiser and it is amazing, leaves my skin beautifully nourished and smooth!! :)
I thought it would be a bit heavy for the upcoming summer so decided to give this a try to use as a day cream/ in the summer.
I used it for 3 days and for some reason i now have so much peely dry skin on my face (perhaps this is just the cream working? but i never get this with original nivea, i simply put it on and in th morning my dry patches have gone :))
Also, for some reason when i put this on yesterday it made my face sting :(

Basically, not a very good cream for face, perhaps due to the high fragrance content?

I will stick with my original Nivea creme, which is cooling, soothing, and incredibly smoothing (oooh ryhming! :))

Not being a Nivea fan, I can't believe how wonderful this product is until I put it on my face and my hand. I have an oily, acne prone skin and this cream is right up my alley. It sinks in really quickly and gives my skin a soft and dewy looking without leaving a greasy film. This is definitely best value for money.

LOVE this cream! I have been using it for two months and it makes my skin feel noticeable softer and smoother. I am NOT a lotion/cream person at all. I pretty much never use lotions, but I use this almost daily. It smells nice and just feels so amazing on my skin.

I've been using this product for 4 years now and I wouldn't say that it didn't help me out at all. Costing around NZD$12 for 200ml I say it's a good price and it take ages for me to use it all up! This cream I use basically every day and night as a body moisturizer. I used to use this on my face.. but its going through a rough time, and whenever I use it my face goes red :( So this product isn't sadly used on my face anymore.

All in all, I reccommend this product. But I wouldn't use it on my sensitive dry face :(

I was researching tons of ingredients, reviews and expensive creams when a friend made me try this cream. Its easily one of the best moisturizers ever for my very dry, sensitive skin. Emollient, non greasy, gives a dewy/matte look depending on how much you use.And best of all, it has dried up my old, never fading zit marks that are now fading rapidly to the point where people noticed. I am using the Asian version which is just a bit different from the US one - Aqua, Glycerin, Myristyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40B-3.6% v/v, Paraffin Oil, Butylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Microcrystalline wax, Mineral Oil, Myristyl Myristate,Glyceryl Stearate, Hydrogenated Coco-glycerides, Dimethicone, Sodium Carbomer, Jojoba oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polyglyceryl-2 Caprate, Preservatives,, Lanolin Alcohol, Parfum.

I wholly endorse this wonderful cream. My skin tends towards dry and I have found this is the perfect base for my foundation. Not too oily and not too lacking in the moisture department. Perfect! I use it all over - face, hands, body. It is the perfect thickness, creamy and absorbs very quickly. It has a lovely, fresh scent. This is a staple in my makeup bag.

I love this product!

I originally purchased it on a whim and I'm glad I did. I use it as my nightly moisturizer on my face (it doesn't have SPF so I don't use it for a day cream). It's thick and luscious and makes my skin really soft. I feel like my skin looks amazing after using this product.

I also use it as an eye makeup remover cream when I'm lazy (although it's not that best for that purpose).

I use it on my body sometimes too. I've even used it on my lips in a pinch.

I like the packaging because I find it fun to scoop up the cream. A squeeze tube might be more sanitary--I think I did see a squeeze tube of it at the store. However, I always make sure my hands are clean before dipping my fingers into it.

I really like the smell. It's a little too heavily scented for a cream that's to be used on the face but it's fine. I'm not bothered by scents but if you're scent sensitive, I'd skip this product.

Definitely a re-buy.

The best moisturizing creme! I use it for my legs and they feel very, very soft. I sometimes used to remove make-up too. This is one of the best Nivea products!

I looooove the original Nivea Creme and this week, CVS had a sale for spend $10 get $3 back. I went in to buy the original (I got the large cobalt glass jar <3), and saw the Nivea soft. I've read good reviews on it so I thought I'd grab it too. Horrible mistake. I opened it and took out a tiny dab for my hands and while it feels fairly okay, not too greasy, somewhat moisturizing, etc., I just can't STAND the smell! I'm usually not a very sensitive person when it comes to smell...but this jar makes me nauseous! It's so heavily purfumed that i'm lightheaded and even when my hands are as far away from my face as possible, I can smell it. I'm not one to waste product, no matter how cheap, but I don't know if I can ever give this one another try...I'm sticking with my original. Also, I wish they still packaged ALL their products in the beautiful glass jars.

I use this as a facial moisteriser. I don't know how good it actually is for my skin, but it leaves it feeling soft and smooth. I find it works better than anything else under make-up. It has some silicone in the formula, which might be why foundation goes on so smoothly under it. I have combination skin which can get both dehydrated and oily and I find this somehow even things out and makes my skin act more normal.

I would love to be one of those people who just uses something like this for the rest of my life and turns out to have amazing skin at 90 years old. But despite the lovely results, I just can't trust it! It's so cheap!
I use it to get the smooth, soft, non-shiney result but I feel guilty that I'm not doing enough for my skin, or that it might be like a band-aid or a temporary fix. I'm probably mad and over-thinking it all, so it's reassuring to see more mature women here giving it positive reviews for long term use!

Wonderful moisturizing cream. My mother in law says she uses this after the shower all over including her face, and she has the softest skin. I think it's too heavy on my face for summer, but otherwise this is really great as a body moisturizer especially on dry areas or in the winter. Got rid of the nagging eczema on my legs.

I don't know if there's a different version of this cream out for Europe or at least Switzerland (where I live), but the ingredient list for mine is different than the one listed on this site:

Aqua, Glycerin, Paraffinum, Liquidum, Myristyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat., Strearic Acid, Myristyl Myristate, Cera Microcristallina, Glzceryl Stearate, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Simmondsia Chinensis Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Lanolin Alcohol (Eucerit), Polyglyceryl-2 Caprate, Dimethicone, Sodium Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Linalool, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Butylphenyl MEthylpropional, Limonene, Benzyl Salicylate, Benzyl Alcohol, Parfum.
