When I saw that NYC had come out with a waterproof liner, I was skeptical. After all, I've not had that much luck with NYC products. But I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with this liner. The one that works best for me is Smoky Plum, which is a deep, smoky purple. It works well with all my colors of eyeshadow and compliments my greyish eyes nicely. The other color I have is the Black one, and while it does work it goes on a bit more unevenly than the Plum. Maybe I just got a bad one.
I like that the lid fits on top of the pencil so that I don't lose it. I also like the ease of sharpening...I use a smudgy line, so I never sharpen to a fine point. This pencil blends easily and smudges great. Also, the wear is fabulous....easily comparable to ColorStay. And they're cheap and relatively easy to find. The only thing that I'd ask for is for them to put out a grey color...the black is a little harsh, I don't like brown eyeliner, and I don't always want to wear purple.

This is a great liner! The color goes on bold and stays that way. I get little, if any, smearing and smudging during wear with this, though it does allow for smudging and blending during application. The application is VERY smooth, and I like that the pencil is super-easy to sharpen. It is one of those pencils that is encased in a plastic shaft, so there are no wood shavings to contend with. It does not sharpen to a very fine point, but I typically prefer a medium line. So this works great for me.
For extra staying power, I use a moistened Q-Tip dipped in a bit of similarly-colored shadow to set the line. This seems to do a fantastic job of holding the color in place. I'm very happy with my purchase, and will certainly be buying this again!

I saw some raves for this on the MU board, so I had to try them. This review is specifically for Mink, a medium brown with itty bitty gold and copper flecks. It is a very nice brown. I have 3 UD 24/7 liners and Mink is comparable to them but only for a fraction of the cost. The application is very smooth. The liner does not tug on my lids and doesn't go chunky as I line. It's not sharpened to a fine point when it's fresh out of the package. Staying power is fabulous - I always prime with UDPP because I have very oily eyelids and even after a run, the color has not faded or smeared. I might even say they are BETTER than the 24/7 liners. Excellent product and I would love to try the other colors once my Rite Aid restocks!

BEST EYELINER MADE...IN DRUGSTORE OR EXPENSIVE BRANDS... I normally think that super cheap makeup is poorly made, but this company has some good products. I got the liner in black, and I think the other shade was mink... It was the bronze brown. It really does hold on all day. This stuff does not move or smear at all. Put it on your bare lid first and then apply shadow etc. I found that putting it over anything else will only smudge. The colors are pretty and range from smoky violet to electric blue. $3.75, but it's worth so much more. I will only use this eyeliner, no other brands. It makes lining the inner rims so easy and the black shade is the darkest you can get. Girls, you really have to go out and buy it. I actually don't mind that it has to be sharpened... because if it wasn't it would dry out faster and you'd waste money. The trick to these is make sure your inner rim is dry... It takes practice to not get watery eyes. I don't know why some girls can't use this or love it. It's pretty damn amazing.. and I have Chanel liners that don't do what it does.

I had a terrible allergic reaction to this product. It created a gummy, stcky film allover the rims of my eyes! I look like I have pink eye. I tried these more than once, under different circumstances, so I do know for certain that this was the culprit. This is too bad too because I've had great luck with their other products.

I have this in dark brown (brown with gold shimmer) and black (true flat black), and I looooove them. Cheap and stay on all day. The only gripe I have is that I have a hard time sharpening these little babies to a fine point, but maybe that's my sharpener's fault. I wish the black also had a little shimmer because flat black can often look a bit harsh on me. A little smudging and smearage, but a small price to pay for eyeliner that stays on me all day.

I think these are wonderful. You can't beat the price, of course. Plus they sharpen to a nice point that gives you a nice fine line - which a lot of eyeliners are too soft to do. If you let the liner set a minute after applying, it lasts forever. But you want that smudged look, smudge quickly and then let it set and it still lasts forever. The colors are all great. I actually like these a lot better than my MAC Prussian Blue pencil (fabulous color, way too soft) as they apply much easier and last longer. Just a great value.

I really like this eye pencil. I always line my upper lids with black or dark brown and would often find with other pencils that I would get raccoon eyes by the end of the day. I even stopped lining my bottom lashes to try and eliminate this problem. Switching to this waterproof pencil really helped. It really does stay put all day!! I have fallen asleep in my makeup after staying out all night and have woken up with perfect eyeliner! I will definitely buy this product again, especially since the price is amazing!

These are okay for the price. I have these in Dark Brown (a true, deep brown with eensy gold/copper shimmers in it); Mink (a medium, bronzey brown with eensy gold shimmers); Smoky Plum (soft, medium dusty plum). The pencil glides on very smoothly and has sufficient pigmentation that I don't feel the need to go over the line twice. The only problem is that it tends to smear a little. I've found that it'll come off immediately after I apply it, but if I am careful not to touch my eyes for a few seconds afterwards, it "sets" and stays on better. It still smears a little bit (and I do not have oily lids) but nothing terrible. If this cost more, I'd rate it lower, but sometimes you get what you pay for. These won't be replacing my Jordana Color Xtend liners (RIP, apparently), though.
