Again I used this product and I see no difference in my skin... No tan. the body lotion does not work on me either. Do not waste your money. it does not seem to moisturize either It burns my eyes as well. Not a good product

This did not work on me at all. I bought the darkest color and got no results. I believe that this is just a lighter version of the body lotion. Instead, I now use the Jergens skin firming dark color tanning body lotion on my face. The body version makes a slight tint to my skin, but not much. So, I will not repurchase the face version, but I do like th body version.

Never am I ever going to buy another FACE tanning product! I really like Jergen's body tanning products b/c they do give me a natural glow, but for some reason the face products make me look like a pumpkin, orange, and a oompa loompa!!! I am going to stick with bronzing blushers to give me a sunkissed glow! I will never put another tanning lotion all over my face again!

I thought this product wasn't too bad at first but then I realized that there were so many other products that could fake a tan quicker. I didn't necessarily want a tan... a nice glow and a very slight tan would have been good but I feel like it look FOREVER to develop.

I tried the Fair one which didn't really seem to do anything then I tried the Medium one (I'm quite pale btw - not like super extremely white but you could call me pale and i'm asian too is that matters) and I got a bit of a glow. Not so much color but a very slight glow... not too much color if anything - I became 1/2 a shade darker and it wasn't really noticeable at all. So this is good if you want a gradual natural glow and no color like whatsoever.

For the summer I decided that I didn't want to be horribly pale, and upon hearing what a fantastic miracle product this was, purchased it and tried it out for a full week.
Foremost, it does not stink (which is a major complaint with self-tanners). It actually smelled quite pleasant. But it was a mediocre moisturizer, and my skin requires special attention. So the deterioration of the quality of my skin is the first point against it.
Now, the packaging does accurately predict when your skin will darken, and how much. But it didn't tell you that by 'darken' it actually meant 'oxidize'. Basically, it made me turn orange. And sometimes I woke up with my hairline crunchy in the morning.
Not recommended.

I used this product last year and wasn't terribly impressed with the results. I tan relatively often (fake bake...yeah, I know. Shame on me) and for some reason, my face never seems to want to tan as quickly as the rest of my body. I thought it would be a smart move to use a facial self-tanner so that my face would match the rest of me. However, this lotion smelled like old coffee and didn't seem to deposit much colour at all. I used it consistently for probably 2 weeks and never seemed to see much of a difference.

i love this product. It works very well and builds up to a nice tan very quickly. In three days you'll have a pretty decent tan on your face. It doesn't have a nasty smell like others do and it doesn't blotch. Just make sure you're not too pale on your neck area because with such a nice tanned face, that might look a little odd. Really, it's the best self tanner I've used and easy to apply. You only need a little bit and it spreads very well, even moisturizing. I've had it in both the Fair and Medium versions. I use the Fair once a week in the winter months, and the medium when i already have a little more tan going.

I got this as a bonus when I purchased the Jergens Natural Glow for the body. I used this for about 2 weeks last summer to tan my face a little since I was tanning my body with the Jergens Natural Glow body lotion and I didn't want my face to look white. This made me break out and I saw no difference in color change so I stopped using it.

I really like this product. I have normal-combo active skin (but very few breakouts) and am NC35. I bought the medium color. It gave my skin a nice glow after about 4 uses...I continue to use it in rotation with my other daily moisturizer, sometimes wearing it under.
I love that it's oil-free and non-comedogenic and as a result I've never had a breakout/clogged pores from it. It's inexpensive too.
So much better for my skin than going tanning and I've never had that "orange look" from it.

I got this in a value pack with the body tanner and congratulated myself on smart shopping. Turns out I had wasted money on the whole deal: the body tanner hurt and the face tanner was disgusting. This stuff was really heavy, didn't moisturize and smelled so bad that I didn't wait long enough to see if it actually worked before I threw it out. My experience with these tanners has put me off of Jergens altogether.

I use this as a daily moisturizer. It gives me a beautiful healthy glow. Every once in a while I convince myself to wear a different moisturizer for a day and I always regret it. I miss that glow I get from this. I also love that it doesn't have the "hi I'm wearing sunless tanner"smell

Update: I realized it's making me break out. But only during the fall and winter. Spring and summer it works great

MAJOR BREAKOUTS!! STAY AWAY! Horrible. Made my skin break out and I don't have acne prone skin! I used this on TWO separate occassions thinking maybe the first time was hormonal or something-NOPE! Whatever they put in this stuff totally makes me break out in not just pimples but cyctic acne. I threw the bottle away immediately. Not worth it at all! Unrelated, but the smell was awful too.

i have relatively fair skin and used the one designed for medium skin tones. the colour develops within a couple days and is fairly durable. it withstood my intense cleansers and toners which my new hugo boss one certainly doesn't.
i swore by this product for awhile. it improved my skin tone quite a bit. after using it i was left with smooth, radiant skin with a healthy looking glow. it never caused break outs or irritation. plus i believe it provided adequate moisturization.
another plus to using this is the pleasant smell you're greeted with.

however...they released it with spf during the summer and then it started causing break outs since my face can't handle spf more than 15 and it contains 20.

i might re-buy it if i can find it without spf again.

As some other reviewers have said, I did not get any noticeable colour from this product. I'm not too keen on the smell of it, either, but if you use it before bed the scent is gone by morning. I cannot use this as a moisturizer alone-- I have very dry skin to begin with, and need my Nivea Rich Moisturizing Day Care on a while before I can use this stuff.

Over all, there are way better products than this. Even some of the drugstore no-name brands give better results than this stuff.

This product did not give me any color. I got it in the medium shade, even though I am rather fair (with a slight yellow undertone). You are supposed to use it every day and the color will build up naturally... well I used it every single day until the tube was gone and nothing happened.

I think the problem was that I used a cleanser that has salicylic acid in it (it exfoliates skin cells), but I was hoping I might still get SOME color. I'm not going to change my cleanser because it works for my difficult acne-prone skin.

The good news is that the lotion never made me break out, it was cheap, and although the typical self-tanner smell was there, it was pretty faint and not nearly as gross as the Neutrogena, Banana Boat, and Clinique self-tanners I have tried in the past. (I have since given up on any artifical color and am just pale)

I used this in conjunction with the regular Jergens Natural Glow for the body. I'm very pale, and this hardly had an effect on me at all. I realize that the face lotion is supposed to be a lighter version of the body lotion, but it really didn't work. My face was always about three shades lighter than my body and I had to use lots of bronzer to make it match. It also smelled terrible.

I have fair skin and I use the one for medium tones. It leaves just the right amount of color on my skin and it is super moisturizing. Sometimes lotions, esp. with tanners in them, make me break out but this has never cause even one pimple. I have been using this for over a year and will continue to do so. Plus, it has SPF 20 in it, which is great. I highly recommend this product.

unlike everyone else, it did not seem to make my face break out, at least not that i know of. my face already does have a few pimples but i don't think they are from this product. however, i've been using it for a little over a week and i still see NO color. and i am very fair and using the one for medium skin tones. might i add, the smeel doesn't bother me like other people have mentioned, but I would not purchase this again

This gives me a nice natural glow that I need. The smell is less severe than some other tanners. Haven't had any streaking or breakouts like other reviewers. I am a fan!
