I went to the MAC store and wanted something that would give me a done up finished look. I was committed to using the MAC Mineralize Foundation, which is a mixture of powder and foundation, but the make-up artist suggested I try the Studio Fix Fluid. This product works well, especially considering this was my first fluid foundation. I use loose powder over the foundation if I want to tone down the look. The product is a bit heavy and doesn't include a pump. The price wasn't bad either: $27. I'll continue using the product(still kind of early; I've only used it for a few days now, but so far so good).

This is a great foundation, like many have said.. but it does tend to oxidize on the face. My shade in everything else MAC is really an NC20, NC 25 in the summer, and when I put on the NC 20 it looks great initially and a perfect match. However, a few hours later my face is darker than my neck. So I bought NC 15 over the strenuous objections of the MA who insisted it was too light, and it is at first, but later on it's perfect. I apply it with the 187 brush and get so many compliments on my skin! My one complaint is that I think it should come with the pump, but I bought one that I switch around to whatever bottle I'm using at the moment.

I love this foundation! It is very creamy which works well with my dry skin. In the past I tried powders and mousses that really didn't work for me and I was anxious about trying a liquid, but it is beautiful! I first got 'NC15' which at the time was the palest shade available, but as I am very fair I went back and purchased the foundation in 'NW10' when MAC released paler shades. This shade is perfect for me and has lovely pink undertones which I have naturally. It goes on very well around my eyes and cheeks, and makes my blusher look stunning! The price is okay at around £20.50, a good foundation is always around that price. Would definitely recommend and buy again and again!

I purchased this foundation a few months ago and haven't touched the bottle after wearing it 3 times . The product is very heavy , and has a strong chemical smell. The Mac girl matched me as a NC45 , it was the best match compared to the other shades I tried but it still seemed off, it was too orange even before it started to oxidize . I keep it for emergencies or when my sister needs to use makeup but I would never use it again on my own face.

I was in need of a new foundation, and I had never gave MAC foundations a try (I only use their concealers). The lady at the counter asked what I was looking for, matched me with my color, and let me on my way. The first time I wore it in natural light, I realized it was very yellow for my skintone. I can be anywhere from NW15 to NC20, and I got this in NC15. I have a very pale complexion, so it's hard to find a foundation to match my skintone. I decided I would wear it anyways, and was very pleased with the results. It covered my birthmarks and rosacea well, and didn't melt off throughout the day. After about a week of using it though, I realized that I was beginning to break out. I'm not the type of person to get acne very much, only the occasional pimple. After 2 weeks of using this product, I had broken out so much, I had no clear patches on my face. I absolutely adore this product and it covers so well, I just wish it didn't break me out like it does. It also would be nicer if the pump came with the foundation instead of having to pay extra and buy it separately.

I went to the MAC counter and had one of the girls there pick out the foundation that matched my complexion and undertones the best. Of course in the store it looked good, although their closest shade for me was a little too dark (NC 44) but it was full coverage so I purchased it anyway. 2 months later I was tired of noticing a way darker face than my neck so I gave up on this foundation. This is a great, thick foundation, but they just don't have a shade that matches my complexion well. NC 44 was too orange/dark for me. I have yellow undertones and NC 42 was too light. I gave it a lower rating because it's not oil free and I had to purchase the pump separately for $6. $27 foundation should already come with a pump in my opinion.

I love this stuff. I am a foundation lover and love trying new foundations but this is one of my all time favorites. I love the strong yellow tones in this foundation. I have tried drugstore foundations but they all run beige and do not compliment my skintone whatsoever. I have normal to dry skin and am not acne-prone. I like to use this foundation daily because it is the perfect color match for me, I am an NC40. I wash off my make up religiously and have not experienced any breakouts from this foundation, thank god! I think anyone who is acne-prone should stay away from this foundation because it is pretty thick and it just might irritate your skin. Overall, I love this and am on my second bottle. Wish it came with a pump and I did not have to purchase that separately.

This is one of my Fav full coverage foundations. The coverage is perfect, I usually dont have to conceal blemishes as much with this & the shade selection is as always great from MAC :) However I do swing between normal to dry skin & I find that if I am dry i'll change up to my sculpt instead as the studio fix will catch onto my dry spots and ill look a tad flaky. Other then that love it!

Loved the way this foundation looked on my skin, loved the coverage and the color match was great...BUT, it broke me out after 2 days of wearing it. Nothing negative to say about it other than it just didn't work with my skin type.

So today is my first day wearing this product. Originally, I was matched as a NC25 in the Studio Fix Powder+, but when I went today, that color just looked way too dark and mask-like. The MUA matched me to NW10, which is a brand new color in Studio Fix Fluid. It's a flawless match, and with a little bronzer, could be darked to fit my summer color if I get any, lol. I could always dust the NC25 Powder+ over top as well.

Anyway, when the MUA first applied this, I was a little skeptical. It looked super patchy and ill-blended but as she swirled the stippling brush around, it looked more and more flawless and natural.

This is definitely a matte foundation, which I love. I still set it with a translucent powder though because I tend to get oily around my nose and chin, and also to add to the longevity of the foundation. I always use Rimmel's Stay Matte, because I honestly haven't found anything that's better than it.

If you're on the drier side, I would recommend exfoliating before using this foundation, but I could really see this product working for any skin type.

It has really lasted on me, and I added a bit of bronzer to contour it and it looks amazing. The first MAC foundation I ever tried was the Face & Body, which broke me out horribly. I'm really hoping this doesn't do that as well, but I'll add an update in a couple weeks.

Loved this foundation for years, then I switched to nars sheer glow, while I still think the foundation itself is good, not too cakey and good coverage, I've now realised how orange the colour was, I wore nw25

I battle with my skin most days so I like to stick with brands and products I can trust, Mac is certainly one of the brands I have faith in. I have used Studio Fix in NC15 for about 3 years now and its my 'go to' foundation. Even in the worse stages of my acne this foundation did not cause me problems the same goes for my redness. The foundation stays on all day and covers all my problem areas, its easy to apply and blens well on the skin. I have used this foundation for both every day use and for nights out/ occasions and it never fails to give me the 'flawless face' im after. Although i love this product if you have super dry skin like me you will need to moisturise and use a good primer before applying this foundation as it does have a tendancy to stick to dry areas.
Overall this foundation is brilliant! I do like to try other foundations just to see what other brands have to offer but I always return to this product its reliable and gives me great coverage, money well spent every time.

Mac studio fix is by far my favourite foundation. The coverage is brilliant and my skin is very close to flawless if not there! Although it may be a slightly more expensive foundation, I find it can last me up to 3 months due to a little doing a lot, therefore I don't have to keep repurchasing. I would recommend this to anyone. The smell also is so gorgeous and so addictive!

Love this, started using this February 2010 it broke me out for the first month of use (I packed it on & I wore it everyday as i was new to the makeup world) i stuck with it because i loved the coverage, it was the best match and wasn't patchy & pink like the drugstore brands I'd tried. If you try this & you love it but it brakes you out, stick with it things will get better lol
I wear this 3-4 times a week and it lasts 4-5 months so the price Is worth it I feel.

This is possibly my favourite foundation to use. I am an NC44 and this matches my skin perfectly and blends really well with a flawless finish. If you are looking for full coverage, like myself this is for you. The only downside to this foundation is that it finishes fast(at least for me).

I just started using MAC foundation quite recently and compared to my other foundations, this is by far my holy grail products!! I was quite surprised to find out it has low rating here in MUA? At least for me the products glides on super smoothly on my face, only need small amount of it, it covers up my acne scars so well and it stays on for the whole day no joke!! the formula is very smooth and with no weird smell whatsoever! it's just so perfect on my skin! best foundation so far =)

I wear this foundation with the matching powder every day - I have oily skin and I also am acne-prone. This is a flawless foundation. Flawless. It covers up every little imperfection perfectly.

I wanted to try this for a while but there are no MAC counters where I live. When I was travelling through Dublin airport I stumbled across MAC there and got the mua to match my colour. I ended up with Studio Fix Fluid in NC15. The colour is perfect and I love the coverage. I don't often wear makeup to work, and on the occasions I've wore this to work people have randomly complimented my complexion and skintone. I always apply with a foundation brush. The only complaints I have is price, because it doesn't come supplied with a pump, you have to buy this separately (the salesperson at the mac counter didn't tell me this).
