Crystal nail files are the best. They do the job and last without dulling as quickly.

i can't believe there are only two reviews for this! i LOVE LOVE my essie crystal file! all crystal files rock. they kind of buff the edges of the nail, which helps prevent peeling. i will never go back to emery or metal files, not even if someone handed me a diamancel file.
the essie is different from the other glass or crystal files i've tried in that it is two sided and has a slightly finer grit. i like it a *hair* better than my Swissco. Lacrosse also has one, and so does Sephora. expect to pay $6-$11 dollars, and be careful. when dropped they shatter.

Bought this my new HG double sided file at Ulta for $10. I think this the wrong way to describe a glass file but the grit is finer/sharper than the Lacross glass file. So you are able to file the nail quickly and evenly.
Also, you get a plastic case but the case is not sturdy enuff to carry the file around in your purse. Def worth the purchase. Glass files seals the edges of your nails, important if you have peeling, weak nails.
