This concealer doesn't blend well. I also had trouble finding the right color for my olive/yellow, Latina skin. The medium was too light for me. I bought the dark one thinking that it would suit me better, but that one was too dark. It would be nice if Maybelline had more colors, and if the formula was a little bit creamier and easier to blend. I like the fact that the concealer was like a "pencil" that you can dot right on the blemishes. Clinique makes a "pencil" like this too, but I haven't tried it.

THE WORST CONCEALER I'VE EVER PURCHASED.Yes, the medium pencil blended perfectly, but the pencil gave hardly any concealer (or maybe I got a faulty pencil). But it would only give me the amount that was shown when you first purchase...it was too creamy and it didn't heal blemishes. After 2 hours of wearing it, my friends asked "Shannon, you need to cover up your zit. Wanna borrow my concealer?" I ran to the bathroom and saw my pimple...the concealer had melted AROUND my pimple!! Awful. Don't purchase. The packaging may be cute and conceal, but it doesn't work it's money's worth.

Second time I am using this concealer. I think the light is better then the medium shape. I really like this and it doesn't sink into my pores like the other concealers do. I would recommend this. I have so far so trouble with break outs. Will update if I do..

First off, I love the thin pencil design of this concealor. Also, the color (I use light) blends into my skin excellently. I have substantial scarring from breakouts, and I just color over them and blend into my skin with clean fingers. I apply two coats, then top it off with Maybelline Shine-Free powder, and the scarring is nearly invisible. However, I have noticed that my skin seems to sometimes break out more when I use the Pure concealor, as opposed to just the powder, but if I don't use them both, the scars are very noticable. Also, when I use them both, the coverage lasts all day. So....this would be a dream product if only it didn't break me out more (but then again, I break out very easily).

I decided to give this a try when Clinique was sold out of their acne solutions concealing stick. It cost about $9CAD, which is inexpensive. I didn't like it because the coverage was poor and did not seem to heal my monthly pimples either. I'll stick with Clinique.

This came free with my Pure Makeup. It is a strange orange color that is just very unrealistic looking. I couldn't get it to cover anything. Maybe I'm using it wrong?
Either way I would never buy again. Thankfully it was free!

i liked the idea of this being in a pencil, somehow that seemed hygenic to me. but that doesn't matter if the product is crap, which this is. i bought this in light and it does not match my skin at all (it's very yellow/orange). it also does not heal zits at all, i don't care what it claims. it's just a knockoff of the clinique acne solutions concealer, which probably works way better than this.

I like how it is packaged, but it didn't provide a lot of coverage. I need a more hard core concealer.

This concealer has the best packaging that I've ever seen. Most coversticks are far too fat to use on pimples. This covers well. I don't know if it does indeed clear up pimples becasue boy would that be hard to take note of on my crazy skin!

I got this concealer because I liked that it was packaged like a pencil (more precise application) and that it was made with water instead of oil for the acne prone blah blah blah. IT SUCKED. It just didn't stick to my skin at all, and if I tried pushing harder to get it to stick big clumps just came off. Complete crap. Good thing it was a cheapie because I will not be buying again.

The "light" concealer matches perfectly with my light 4 (nude) pure foundation. It blends easily and the autopencil is awesome at placing the concealer exactly where you want it.

WOW!! This is one of the best concealers out there! No more having to take a long time blending around a problem area because this goes on exactly where you want it to...no problems! Because its made 50% out of water it doesn't cake on or look dry its very hydrating. The only thing is that it only comes in 3 shades...light, medium, and dark so if this suits you then lucky you. Overall GREAT product.

I can't believe all the bad reviews about this product!! I've been searching for a blemish concealer for like ever and I'm still shocked that this brand makes such a good blemish concealer. Its just perfect from its precision and ability to cover (unlike most other concealers where i need a brush in order to preven ugly tell tale signs around the pimple) as well as colour and packaging. I was so scared that I would buy yet again another concealer that I would add to my collection of 500 billion at the bottom of the drawer but I was so wrong, the colour is just perfect! I purchased the medium which has a yellow tone and I would say that most gals would prefer this one rather than the light since it had a pink base. Dont hesitate to buy this especially if you can return it..you wont regret ur decision! :)

useless, totally useless product. Does not cover. If you try to blend it, it all comes off. Color is not bad though. Oh well...

This was actually pretty good, I cant say the color was great, but it still managed to work. But the packaging is nice and its good to know it has mostly water in it. The tip is precise when marking blemishes and has medication in it.

Firstly, bad color matches. The light was too light but the medium was too dark and orange. I think all concealer lines should have at least 5 choices; there are like 20 shades of foundation why not at least 5 choices for concealer? Concealer isn't like powder - it does have to match..

Anyways, shade stuff aside, this didn't really cover much but just kind of caked on. When I tried to blend it out gently, it just made my pimples look cakey. I could see this possibly working on a very smooth flat pimple but even that is iffy. Would not buy again.

I didn't notice a huge difference as far as treating blemishes, but the tip made it really easy to precisely cover them. However, there's not very much product for the price. There's also not a wide variety of shades to choose from.

This product is a total win/win for both me and Maybelline. It's a "win" for me because this is perfect for covering tiny broken capillaries and red marks around my nose, as well as the occasional pimple (why oh why am I still getting pimples at 43?) The slender tip of this is just the thing for dotting on, and I can even get a better result than with a regular concealer and concealer brush. The color is perfect too; a slighly yellow base for correcting redness. I even recommended this to a male friend of mine who was griping about a zit on his nose, telling him "if no one sees it, you're not wearing makeup, dude." He was impressed!

On the other hand, this product is a "win" for Maybelline in that you aren't getting a lot of product for your $8. However, this works so brilliantly for what it does I will not begrudge them the extra buck or two it costs. Between this in my Cover Tox Ten for under my eyes, I can now fool the world into thinking I am much younger and better looking (not to mention well-rested) than I am. Mwah hahaha! I am an evil genius.

I love how cute this concealer is! I was instantly attracted to its thin design (it's actually a bit thinner than my eyeliner) and its retractable feature. This was an impulse buy, but I was interested in trying out a mess-free concealer. I've actually been using a foundation (Physician's Formula Beauty Spiral Brightening Compact Foundation) to conceal my blemishes, but since I use my fingers to apply the coverup, I end up with a huge gunky mess on my hands. I've tried to use concealer brushes, but foundation makes the brushes cake up and stiffen so easily. Anyway, Maybelline's concealer-liner allows me to *precisely* cover my blemishes, and there's no extra concealer around my blemish that I have to blend into my skin! It covers redness really well, but I wish it reduced my blemishes like it seems to have done for some of the other post-ers. I'll definitely buy this again, but probably a shade darker.
