Previously i had only owned TF lip injection and that sh** burned like hell and left my lips really sticky so i looked for an alternative. LF XL seemed to be one of those products that forums were raving about but they didnt seem to sell it in UK and damn, the price put me off! Recently i went to a sephora in Paris and picked one up (50euros!). I use it as a nightime and morning lip treatment and although i already have big full lips, i noticed how smooth my lips looked and more rounded the edges of my lips were. They do look a little plumper or maybe its the trick of my mind. It doesnt sting and doesnt turn your mouth bright red. one good thing about this is that i havnt used a lipbalm in 2 weeks! It moisturises like crazy :D i'm now ready to try the coloured versions!

I actually have the dual end one that has this particular treatment for night and a slightly different one for day. I chose it because it was $18 vs $50 - 2 products vs 1. I thought it would be a good way to try it out a lot less expensively than shelling out $50 bucks. I found it at sephora.
While I haven't noticed a lot from the "day" side in terms of plumping, it does do a great job of moisturizing, I have perpetually dry, chappy gross lips and this is really changing that fast!
the night side of it I do feel just a tiny tingle and the next morning do notice some plumpness (I've only been using it for a week now),
i don't know that I could bring myself to pay $50 for any kind of lip product, but $18? yep, I'd buy it over and over again for that.

AMAZING! I am not sure what else to say.. Lip Plumpers in general, are well.. BS. They feel cool, usually smell great. But other than a little tingly sensation, I have never seen much from them. HOWEVER!!! This lip gloss is sensational! I love the fact that, not only is this a lip gloss, but a lip treatment. AND I have personally noticed that the residual effects can last through the next day! The smell and taste are just a bonus! The price is pretty big for a clear gloss, but i would pay it over and over as long as I continue to achieve these results! GREAT BUY!!!

I love this! I pulled this out of my product closet after forgetting about it for awhile. I wish I remembered it earlier. I have full lips that get dry and wrinkled looking, and when i use this overnight, my lips stay plump through the following day. It really really improves the appearance. This contains AHA and has a pretty nasty smell to it. I can't place it exactly, something cloying and chemical-like. So not for the faint of fragranced. But, definitely love this product and although expensive will repurchase when it runs out.

I LOVE THIS!!!! Some people may find this expensive, but if you use it like you are supposed to it is well worth the money! I've used mine EVERY night (seriously) before bed for the past 10 months or so and it completely changes your lip's anatomy! They're much plumper & moisturized! No visible lines whatsoever so when you wake up in the morning & get ready to put on whatever daytime lip product, it looks perfect & smooth! I'm just now about to open my 2nd plumper to use, but I'm actually going to give Too Faced Extreme Lip Injection a try & I'll write a review for that one as well, determining which one works the best!!!! So far this one is my favorite!!!!

I am one of the minority to really love this product. I do have full lips but wanted it to look plumper, more juicy and luscious. This is XL which is like a nightime treatment, with both sea-collagen as well as Hyaluronic acid to help to draw moisture to the lips for a fuller, plumper look.
-As this has HA in this, the results are more permanent on me. I will use LipFusion Clear in the day and followed by XL as a nightly lip treatment. It is minty and a slight tingle on the lips when first applied but i feel with all lip plumpers, the tingle/burning/uncomfortable sensations will diminish with use, also maybe due to been "immune" to it.
- I tried this for about 2 weeks, my lips though dry felt much more moisturized (due to the HA) and also fuller even without using plumpers in the day. Once i stopped, the fullness prevails for about 2-3 days but when down to normal. Thus i can concude to keep it going on looking full, XL will be a longtime, daily treatment used at night.
-Can be quite painful on the pocket as this is very pricey. $50 bucks a pop. But if you really want full lips without the injections, this has given me the best results from all the plumpers i tried.

This just works...and what I love about it is that the effect doesn't go away. I use it maybe twice a day, and my lips are plump and moisturized throughout it, which is wonderful. I find the normal lipfusion's effect does go away in a few hours, and also I can't stand its scent. I much prefer this minty one.
It is outrageously expensive, but it is a plumper, lipbalm and gloss in one for me.
It's not going to make your lips "bigger" but it is going to plump them- that's good enough for me!
I'm taking a lippy off for the bulky packaging and the flimsy applicator.

This stuff sucks. Period. Not only did it not plump my lips at all, it made them super dry and flaky. Awesome, just what I want for $50! I don't know why I even tried it. High hopes I guess. Oh well, back to the store it shall go!

Thank goodness I got this product as a sample! I seriously considered shelling out the moola to purchase the XL, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a lip product. So, when I saw that it came as a sample size in a kit I wanted, I jumped at the opportunity to try it out without breaking my wallet! I had very high expectations, due to all of the awards and "best product" votes that this product has been given by so many various magazines and websites. However, I was sadly disappointed.
I've been using the LipFusion XL at night as directed for a few months. I've not noticed any difference in my lips...plumping-wise, that is! What I have noticed is that my lips now seem to be much more dry than before I started using it. This makes me mad, because I wish I would never have used it in the first place. I have never struggled with chapped or dry lips my whole life! I also don't like the regular Lipfusion products. They just don't do anything for my lips, except make them tingly.
I wondered if staying well-hydrated might make a difference in how well this product plumps. So, I've also been drinking well over the suggested 64oz of water per day for a month now. I had hoped that this might make a difference in how the LF products work on me, but alas it didn't make any difference at all.
Bottom line: Based on the reviews I've read and heard, the LipFusion products work best on people who already have fuller lips naturally. I've noticed that almost all of the people who report that it does plump their lips are people who have full lips to begin with. I have medium-sized lips, so I can't help but assume that this is the reason it didn't work on me.
Buyer beware!

I love Lipfusion, but I love Lipfusion XL even more. I have quite full lips naturally, but who doesn't want a little bit more? This is supposed to be a night time treatment, and that's how I use it. I apply it before bed and wake up to the softest, smoothest, moisturized lips. They feel so pillowy! Totally agree with the reviewer before me- I rarely wear lip balm now that I use this stuff. The spearminty flavor and tingle are addictive. I've tried other plumpers, and nothing else comes close to the effects of Lipfusion. The price is ridiculous, but a tube lasts awhile and I stock up whenever there are discount codes online.

I have been using this product for a year now, and I'm incredibly glad that I bought it. My lips are moderately full on their own and I've received compliments before, but with lipfusion XL, they're positively angelina-esque. The first few nights you apply it you won't see much of a difference, but if you keep applying it EVERY night, you'll soon see what I saw: noticably fuller, endlessly softer, pillowy and moisterized lips. I rarely ever use lip balms anymore during the day, because with lipfusion XL lip balm gets totally redundant. I will definitely be purchasing it again, ridiculously expensive or not, this stuff is addictive.
But I repeat, my lips are on the full side to begin with, I don't know how this will work with very thin lips. I can imagine that the effect with be positive.
I've tried the normal gloss lipfusion for daywear, and it was extremely disappointing. The effect is not nearly as obvious as XL.

I have bought this several times--It DOES work and I like the nice minty smell/flavor too I don't find it quite as "greasy" feeling as the Wexler MD brand.
I have tried many many plumpers and prefer this one--only the cost prohibits me from using/purchasing MORE often
I used to use it at night but as I am not so convinced it really has any cumulative effects so due to the cost I use it over my lipstick/gloss during the day but I mosty certainly DO feel that it temporarily smooths and plumps.
Probably a good 6 hours worth of juicier looking lips!!!!!!!!

This stuff works! I have lips that are moderately full. They're not Anne Hathaway or Angelina lips, but they're not thin either. When I put this stuff on my lips are much plumper. It gives me that beautiful pouty lip look without getting injections, which do not appeal to me. The tinted versions of this are not as effective, but still plump slightly. If you're looking for the best results use this first and then put color on top. I often wear it alone though, because it provides nice shine. It's not a miracle--if you have thin lips you aren't suddenly going to have pouty model lips, but it will fill them out nicely. For those of us who have medium sized lips, it makes lips full and juicy looking. I looove this stuff. I don't leave home without it. The reason why I gave it 4 lippies instead of 5 is the price. For lip gloss (even lip gloss with great plumping ability), $50 is excessive. I still buy it because it's the only thing that works, but it's too much. I have read on here that women are buying it on Ebay for more reasonable prices, so I may try that. I'd pay $30 for this without flinching, which is saying a lot.

This is one of the best plumpers on the market, hands down. The hyaluronic acid does provide results,on me anyway.I hated the unbearable burn of duwop lip venom + too faced lip injection (although I loved the smell).I use the XL usually before bed,or sporadically through out the day. I love the texture/smell..my lips do seem fuller when I use this consistently.I got this as a gift, but it would be worth the purchase to me.

Hmm, a tricky one to review for me. Let me start by saying that I actually LOVE this product, but I don't think that it really does what it's meant too ie plumps lips (or at least not on me!). But my lips have never been less needy of daytime regreasing since I started using this and the other Lip Fusion products. Hence my addiction to it, my lips have always been SOOO dry and they're not anymore.
I cannot believe what they charge for this retail, it's outrageous, so please search ebay for a seller who offers them at half price or less!!
The packaging also could do with some work. My current tube has been in use for a few weeks and already the little doe-foot applicator is looking pretty thin and needy (which for something that I apply once each night isn't really all that good).
So, for a truly fabulous lip hydrator that makes your lips smoother and less chapped, but a very pretty price, this one might be worth a look. If you're on a tight budget, give it a miss.

Living in Europe I was thrilled and had high expectations to try this product. So it was one of the products I asked my friend to buy for me at Sephora when he went to NY. I have never tried any plumper’s before so I wanted to get the best … A friend of mine said this was it. I don’t have anything to compare with but this product dose very little to my lips. I can’t really tell any difference at all. It tingles yes, and it smells nice but that’s it. So I would say it’s a waste of money.

I have been using this product on a daily basis for two weeks. It moisturizes my lips rather well and keeps them soft throughout the day. As for the plumping effect, it is hard to tell. If it does increase the size of my lips, it is not obvious enough for me to truly notice it. This product is excessively expensive for the benefits I get out of it.

Fantastic feeling on my lips and has significantly made them larger since I started using it. They feel softer too. The tingle gets really addicting and I find myself putting it on over and over throughout the day. The packaging is very nice and really durable. One lippie off because of the price and because I like the smell of the regular version (not XL) a bit better.

I had never tried a lip plumper before, and ordered Lipfusion XL because it seemed to have some pretty good reviews.
I have only been using it for 3 days but I saw results the first day I used it. Honestly, I was pretty amazed.
Over the years my upper lip has thinned considerably, but my lower lip has stayed pretty plump, and when using this product I see more results on my thin upper lip than I do on my lower. It fills out the lines on my lips and adds a noticeable “fullness”, especially to the top border of my upper lip. I have been applying it once in the am and at night before I go to sleep.
The second night after using this, I woke up to fuller, more beautiful, soft lips. I am very happy with the product and plan to repurchase.
**edited to add (March, 2010)
I have been using this lip plumper for almost 2 years now and am still amazed with the results. I continue to be happy with the amount of fullness this product adds to my lips. I apply at bedtime every night. Truthfully, I have used this for so long I forget how much I used to hate my upper lip...until I see old pictures of myself. As far as this containing shark cartilage, it could contain liquefied kittens and I'd still use it. For me, it works! I can only see myself stopping this if I decided to go to having lip injections for a much fuller look.
**edited to add (August, 2010)
The area above my upper lip has slowly, over the past year or so, become red and looked as though I had a sunburn, and although it didn't hurt it also didn't fade. I went to the dermatologist who said I have vascularization in that area, but he wasn't sure what could cause such a reaction, being that the only area affected was above my upper lip. I have had 4 V Beam laser treatments so far and am still trying to fade the red. Being that this is one of the only products I have used consistently in that area I am discontinuing use in a better safe than sorry attempt.
***edited to add Jan 2011
Since I stopped using this in August of last year my lips have not only deflated, but I now have terrible upper lip lines (wrinkles). The rest of my skin hasn't changed, I have the lips of a 70 year old, which would be fine if I was 70, not 40. I don't smoke and I take care of my skin, there is no other reason for this change. My lips look much worse then they did before I ever started using this product. Terrible.

Painless and very effective instant plumping! It does wear off to some extent, but with regular use there is a definite cumulative effect. I like the regular version and the tinted versions, but definitely noticed a bigger result with the XL. Expensive, but lasts a long time and well worth the money. I have tried Borghese lip plumper, and it was painful and there was no plumping result at all. I am puzzled by the lack of unanimity in response to this product. It is important to apply it to bare lips. Any residual gloss or lipstick or pencil will render it ineffective.
