Great wearing gloss. Similar to Juicy Tubes (but Mango Tint really has no color that shows up), though it's a much thicker formula, which I enjoy a lot more. It makes it easier to apply and also lasts longer. Great if you're looking for a high-gloss shine and best of all, lip conditioning.

Better than average staying power with a beautiful sheer tint.

I loved this the first week or so, then my lips started to dry out as per usual. The actual reason for the low rating though is the smell. After two weeks the tube started to smell like moldy old socks. I have the 4 mini superbalms, and they all started to smell this way. I am not amused.

more of a gloss than a balm, but feels nice, slightly sticky, with good staying power. i love the color; its perfect for summer. excellent. nothing perticularily special, but a very good product.

Mango is a sheer, juicy look for summer. In the tube it's a vibrant orange but on my lips it's just enough color to make my lips looks healthy and pretty. UPDATE: This is soooo super-sticky and the number one ingredient is petroleum, which I avoid. I won't buy again.

I love Makeup Alley because nine times out of ten I can count on positive reviews of a product to live up the reputation of its reviews...Clinique Superbalm is by far THEBEST lip gloss/balm I have EVER tried! I love my Juicy Tubes and MAC lipglass but it's just too much product and sticky stuff for work (I'm an elementary school teacher)--these are PERFECT for work. Lightweight, not sticky, moisturizing and it imparts the most gorgeous doses of colors. I bought the 2nd of the last tint sets and I'm in love with every color. I'll be using these forever!

HG HG HG tinted lipblam!! I absolutely could not live without this stuff. Really thick, really long lasting, not very sticky, and great tints. I have Mango and Raspberry and both are equally great. Mango shows up clear and Raspberry gives a slight red-pink tint. Both really moisturize. They taste a little odd, but I barely notice that because of the texture. I adore these.

Got this in a set of 4 for 20 dollars, all in a cute little makeup bag. This is hands down the best lip treatment I have ever used! I love the slight hint of color, the shine, the creaminess, and how soft and supple my lips feel. The slant tip applicator and the squeezy tube are a big plus too,as I hate getting my fingers all gooey. I also own this in clear for a bedtime treatment. No need to look anymore...this is a HG.

More moisturizing than Lancome Juicy Tubes; even though this has the consistency and look of a gloss it does provide more moisture than the average gloss. However it is not as moisturizing as a balm. The orange color shows up very lightly on the lips for a casual look. Very expensive considering how little product you get. No taste or scent (although I agree with an earlier review that I kind of wish it smelled like mangoes!)

I really like this-gives a slight hint of tint. It's fairly moisturizing and overall a nice product. Also, the slant tipped tube is a plus as well, I do not do well w/ potted balms (too messy). Good for those "no makeup days", or works well under other lippies too. Would definitely repurchase.

i could not believe now shiny and glossy my lips were after putting on Clinique Superbalm. what makes it even better is that it makes your lips sooooo soft! it lasts a long time on your lips, and the Mango is very very very slightly colored, so my lips don't turn orange. and the price is so affordable! can't beat it!

I think I've found my new lip balm! I've tried several drug store brands and even Kiehl's which got such high reviews and it didn't really work for my very dry lips. This stuff really works! I don't have to put it on every 10 minutes. The tube is tiny, but you don't need a lot. It's also a bit hard to squeeze so be careful otherwise you'll squirt out a bunch of goop. I got this in the mango tint and on my hand when I used the tester when it dried it looked like I rubbed a dandelion on my hand! I hoped this wouldn't be the case when I tried it on my lips (I had bought it before I noticed it). The tint doesn't really show up because I have darker pigmented lips, but for fair people it will probably show up a bit yellowy.

I'd recommend this to people with very dry lips, it gives a nice gloss that isn't super sticky and it gives great shine. I'd definitely buy this product again.

Edited 03/05/04 - I changed it from 4 lipsticks to 5 simply because it so good at moisturizing and giving my lips a nice healthy look to it. It will definitely become a staple.

This was my first Superbalm because I saw it on a friend and I liked how it made her lips look peachy and pretty. I went and bought some and I wasn't let down! This is such a nice shade that you can probably wear it all year round. The only thing I can do without is the smell. It smells like funk! My friend noticed it from hers too..YUCK! But at least it looks nice on the lips and only smells bad in the tube!

I love my regular Superbalm to bits (I've gone through two already), and so a tinted version was too good to pass up! Mango is very sheer, but it does tint the colour of my naturally pigmented lips to make them appear more "juicy". Sometimes I find clear glosses can appear a little *too* clear and they wash my lips out a bit, so this is perfect. One difference I noticed between this and the regular, untinted Superbalm is that this one is slightly less thick and "cushiony" on the lips; its consistency is more like a Juicy Tube and it's not as long-lasting. It's still great, however, and I will consider purchasing other shades in the future.

The consistency of this is only slightly thick and sticky, which is great for me (I hate extra tacky and thick glosses). These qualities make the staying power of this l/g pretty decent without the extra unwanted tackiness. I'm not sure it's as moisturizing as my other lip balms, but it still does a decent (though I wouldn't say a great) job. There isn't too much of a taste or scent. It only leaves a very slight tinge of peachy coral tint, which leaves me a little disappointed. The price is also kind of expensive considering how little product you get. I do love the shine this gives to my lips, though. Overall this is just an average to slightly above average l/g: While it does have some redeeming qualities, I'm not sure these good qualities outweight the drawbacks. I probably will not repurchase as this l/g is not that special or unique.

I love my Superbalm, it's a cross between a gloss and a balm. It's glossy and not at all sticky which feels great. The balm is very moisturizing and not irritating with no offensive smell (but a part of me wishes there was a hint of mango scent to it). It hasn't left my lips flakey afterwards, only leaving them looking plump and glossy. Unfortunately the pretty coral pink colour in the tube barely showed up on my lips. Also, the price ($14 cdn) is pricey for a 7mL tube that is smaller then a NYC kiss gloss (10mL) that costs $4.

I like the texture of this product and the glossy finish it leaves on my lips.

But it was not very moisturizing, and wore off rather quickly. I will not repurchase.

This is a cute lip balm but its nothing special. It doesn't moisturize my lips rather its drying my lip. There's no tint at all. Its waste of money.

I was interested in this after reading these postive reviews. I'm very dissapointed with this product. I don't find it moisturising at all! and the tint is almost undetectable. I prefer my philosophy kiss me in red, as it is far more moisturising and gives a healthy tint, and otherwise my kiehls no.1 is far better too. The only good thing about this is the packaging, which makes it easy to apply without having to touch it.

I like how its glossy, and its super moisturizing. It is a little on the sticky side if you over do it though. The color is just right...gives a little more flush than just clear gloss. Wish there was more in the packaging though, especially considering what you pay for it! Also, i wish it actually smelled like a mango!!! have one in grape tint too, but i can't find it!!! argghh!!
