This toner really is moisturizing =) but of course you'll need some lotion or gel afterwards to keep the moisture, but as a toner it's doing a decent job, it does what it claims to do. the fragrance is kind of strong, but it's the nivea smell so I still like it, just a reference for people who don't like fragrance or strong smell products (compare to thayer's rose petal witch hazel toner, nivea scent is much better). will definitely repurchase.

Didn't do anything for my acne-prone skin. Great at moisturizing, but didn't do anything for the small breakouts on my cheeks. No difference. It's okay at removing makeup, but I won't be repurchasing since it didn't do anything for my skin.

I bought my first bottle of this and used it as a normal toner. I liked how fresh it felt on my skin but didn't notice any "wow" effect (my skin is already pretty good to begin with.) Then I had an idea: I bought an empty diffuser spray pump bottle and filled the toner into it. Now I just spray it on my face and use it in lieu of MAC Fix+ ! I use it after applying my mineral foundation, it restores moisture to my skin, takes away the powdery look, and blends it into a smooth finish when I go over it with my kabuki brush. I just bought my 2nd bottle now and I will repurchase when it's empty.

A decent smelling moisturizing toner. The best part about it is that it's alcohol free. It doesn't dry out skin; instead it leaves your skin feeling refreshed and lively!

I've been using this toner for about a week now & so far so good. I love the fact that it's alcohol-free, therefore no stinging! I still have to use moisturizer afterwards, but it's not as drying as other toners I've used. It gets rid of leftover cleanser & makeup, & it makes my skin feel toned & clean. Might not be my HG just yet, but I'll see how the next few weeks go.

I think this is the best toner I have ever purchased. I have been using this for about 4 years now and I always re-purchase. I love the smell and it doesn't dry out your skin at all. I've caught my brother using it as well. I will definately continue to re-purchase!

I´ve been using this toner for 2 weeks and I´m so surprised! I´m the type of girl who doesn´t use toners because they make my face feel tight and I´m not sure about their benefits for skin anyway.. But my cosmetician advised me to use toner so my skin isn´t so dry after cleaning in the evenings. So I bought Garniner´s toner, but nothing special happend. But with Nivea...oh my gosh!! My skin has cleared up, pores look smaller (unbelievable!) and my skin looks fresh and healthy - which isn´t typical for my skin (combo, uneven, large pores). I can´t believe that such a big improvement could be caused by toner. If anyone of you has the same experience with this toner, please let me know. Thumbs up for Nivea toner:))


Edit 31/8/07: Oh no, my face is covered with pimples!:(( Some reviewers below also experienced break out after this toner. What a shame!! I´m not 100% sure that the break out was caused by this toner. I will stop using it and will let you know..

I had high expectations for this product. It did it's job of removing MU left behind from my cleanser but it didn't get those white flakies off. I rather use Proactiv's toner. I guess everyone's face is different.

nothing special about these toners at all. I used to spray it onto my face. Then when I went camping, I just didnt bother with it at all and my skin got so mcuh better!

Absolutely LOVE this toner! I've been using it for years, I am not even looking to switch to anything else. I love the fact that it's alcohol free because my skin cannot stand alcohol, it dries it too much and stings like crazy (I've tried other toners in the past). I have combination skin, so it gets oil and dirt out especially in my T-zone. Love the smell and how my skin feels afterwords. Will keep buying it!

For the past two years, I've tried all sorts of toners to accommodate my oily yet sensitive skin. After reading some positive reviews over at drugstore.com, I decided to give this one a go.

Boy am I glad I did. The scent is light, but not irritating and I don't feel my skin being stripped of moisture as I'm using. It helps remove soap residue and gently cleanses my skin. I use it twice a day and it's been my best find in years!

Wow! I bought this after reading some really great reviews, and I really love this toner. I rarely wear toners because they leave me feeling tight. This one doesn't. I highly recomend this if you have dry or sensitive skin, and feel that you need that final once over after cleansing to get every last bit of makeup from your pores. It was also only 5.65 at Target. I use Retinol at night, and C in the day, and this toner doesn't sting or irritate my skin at all even after these treatments. I am a big believer that you should be really gentle with cleansing your skin,(my mom has an obsession with washing dishes without gloves and her hands look horrible, so I am very gentle with my skin) So, this may be my HG toner.

I’m so glad I came across reviews of this. I haven’t used a toner in years. All toners that I tried either stripped my face & made it dry or caused breakouts & were harsh. I bought this after reading the reviews on here & am so glad I did. Love the smell, it takes off any makeup that might be left after cleansing but feels gentle & fresh & my skin feels “normal” moisturized but not oily, or tight or dry. Plus its available in the drugstore & the not expensive at all. I use it only at night & not in the daytime. I will be using this product from now on.

i bought this toner because it is alcohol free as alcohol dries out my OILY skin. i apply this toner with a cotton pad after i have cleansed my face at night, and it provides a cooling sensation and makes my skin feel really clean. i use this toner on my body too on hot days but putting the toner into a spritzer and spraying it onto my body. i find that this toner does not dry out my skin and instead moisturizes it without having my skin turn oily. this is my favorite toner!

I live in SW Florida and my face has been very oily this summer and I have been breaking out frequently (I'm in my 30's and acne is generally not a problem for me). I am hesitant to put anything on my face as my skin is extremely sensitive but was encouraged after reading the reviews on this product.

**This toner is the best!** I've been using it for 2 weeks and my skin has completely cleared up and I haven't had any bad reactions. It leaves my skin feeling clean but not dryed out. I will be using this toner as long as long as it's available!

I like the cute bottle and the color of it. I've used Clinique's toner before but it was too drying. This one doesn't make my skin feel all that clean but it does leave a fresh feeling so I only use it at night after I've washed my face or any other time that I just need to feel fresh.

Can not believe that I have not written a review on this. I HAVE FINISHED MORE THAN 20 BOTTLES of it. I guess it is always there on my desk that it has become a stable mark so that I don't remember it when I am writing reviews on MUA. Tried a lot other toners too, always come back to this one. Can not live without it. :D
