I just got the sample of the cream eraser. I have never used a primer before( so I may be biased here), but this is really great for me! If the PL site wasn't down for upgrades I would order a full size one right now. I plan to try the What Red next time too. This is great for under eyes, it lets my concealer glide right on.

Hmmm....I'm in the minority here but I didn't care for this at all. I bought the cream version from a recommendation on the makeup board - I was told this was far better than Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector. Well, it isn't...in fact it isn't even close. Eraser is a slimy, flesh-colored gel that doesn't hide fine lines or enlarged pores at all. It feels like vaseline going on, but does eventually dry to a powdery finish. Oh well, back to Clinique and I'll never stray again!

I got a sample of the cream version and also the What Red? concealer in cream and powder and I plan to buy the two cream versions. I have large pores and some facial redness and this really makes my face smooth and even toned before I put on my foundation (lately I've been using Everyday Minerals). Wow! I can't describe how much better it makes your skin look to use a primer before hand, and this eraser product actually makes a good primer. It doesn't feel gooky either. Love it! For some people, the powder might be better, but it's easy enough to get samples from their webpage... all you have to do is pay shipping. so, you can order both and see which works better for you!

I didn't care for the creme version of this...at all. It looked horrible on my face. However; the powder version is much better. I bought the powder version in medium and it's soooo much better. The creme version is also hard to blend.

I got the creme formula - this stuff is AWESOME
Made my skin so smooth and even! Not at all greasy, washed off at the end of the day still feeling fresh and no breakouts! I did one half of my face at a time to see the difference and the difference was huge! Also used the green concealer which also worked good...

I ordered a sample of the Pure Luxe Eraser (the cream stuff) and I have re-ordered a full-size jar! This stuff is great! It feels so silky-smooth on your skin. I'm not entirely sure how much it makes my skin look like a "glamour shot" but it does help the PL powder foundation go on smoothly and it makes my smaller pores (the regular-sized ones - I also have super-huge pores that *nothing* will help) look absolutely invisible. So, if you have nice skin, this will make it look absolutely flawless. If you have so-so skin, it will make your skin look nice. And if you have "bad" skin, it will make it look better although not flawless. I have re-ordered a jar, and I will continue to order jars. :)

UPDATE: This stuff is amazing. My skin has not broken out from using this. I hadn't been applying *enough* of the product to give the "glamour shot" look - now my skin looks (nearly - don't forget I'm starting off with "bad" skin) flawless. I love this stuff!!!! :)

This stuff looks like a sort of flesh-toned sheer creamy gel. It comes in a wide-mouth jar, which I don't understand. I guess Pure Luxe is low-budget and doesn't put their stuff in tubes. When I put it on bare skin, my skin gets totally smoother and pore-free. Makeup goes on over it smooth as silk. It grabs on to the mu and holds it there all day. Even eye shadow. I ordered a sample first, then a small jar, and have now moved on to a giant jar. It ain't cheap, but it goes far. I bet it's one of the more expensive things PL sells. But it is so wonderful, I think it's well worth the price (better than Smashbox Photo Finish, which I love). For me, it will be indispensible in the hot weather. Oh, and it even makes your skin look better if you put it on > over < your foundation, but be careful not to put too much over mineral fndn, and to pat it in, or your mineral makeup will turn to mud!

I have large pores from years of oily skin. I bought this in the powder version. It comes in both a powder version and in a cream version. don't know which is better because I've never tried the cream version. Anyway, after applying my makeup, a light dusing of the powder eraser gives a nice soft look. Its softens the look of the pores, making them much less noticable.

hello, love of my life...when used before my mineral powder, it makes my skin look creamy, stay semi-matte (dewy, but a GOOD dewy..i have super oily skin and i don't even need to use blotting papers), my pores looks smaller, my skin just looks smooth and clear...gosh. this is amazing.

AND. i got a sample of it, and i've had it about a month and a half and it's nowhere near done.

Wow...just WOW!
A product that actually delivers exactly bwhat it claims it will do: "ERASER will soften the look of lines, large pores, and produce an all-over effect of perfect skin".
I bought this in the cream formula, in the original color as well as "What Red?", "Banana Split" and "Apricot Enhancer".
After a week of using them, I am sooo hooked that I am going back for more "what Red?", which totally deals with any redness my super sensitive skin has, and "Banana Split", which does a fab job with shadows around my eyes and mouth.
The original formula says its "lightly tinted", but on me, despite my extra pale nc15/ppp skin, it has no color.
The only one I don't think I will repurchase is the apricot enhancer, which supposedly does a great job for under-eye shadows. It did diddly for mine, but Banana Split did great!
I use eraser both under and over Jane Ireland Liquid Minerals, and they always do whatever trick needs to be done. This is just AMAZING stuff!

i bought the tester, but i will buy it again.
i only use this when i want a polished look as i always believe substances like this will clog pores. it's a fair price at such a quality, i think clarins new base is just similar to that.

I purchased a sample of the Medium POWDER Eraser and I really like it. My pores aren't as noticeable and I'm finding I use less of my foundation which is definitely a plus. Before ordering a full size I'm going to try the original colour as I think the medium might be slightly dark for my colouring (warm cream foundation).

I tried both the powder eraser in medium and the original cream eraser.
The cream eraser did not do anything for me plus it felt heavy on my skin.

The powder one on the other hand, works really well as a foundation primer! Really helped to control my oil, makeup goes on alot more easily (like when i use MAC P+P). Skin looks more flawless from afar (yes afar.. as my skin is far from perfect)

I received the eraser yesterday, so I'm still experimenting with it. Thus far, I KNOW i'm going to buy a full size of it soon. When I put it on my forehead, my "frown lines" honestly have almost vanished. The small lines around my eyes are less obvious as well. With my medium skin, it disappears into my skintone also;not leaving any tell tale sign. It glides on like silk, making my face soft and smooth.. So far so good!! Will definitely repurchase this product!

Just tried this product and have to say it feel soooo amazing going on. It fills in pores and lines slightly..I know nothing can make them disappear. It seems to just give an overall smoothness to your complexion. I will continue to use this as long as I don't start breaking out. Update...don't use this anymore.

I've tried this six ways from Sunday and it just makes a mess of my foundation no matter what I do. I've even tried it with a creme foundation--to no avail. It creates a silky smooth layer on my skin that essentially makes everything on top bead up and crease in a really disgusting manner. It's a shame, too, because it feels sooo nice. It did nothing to minimize anything on my face, either. Terribly disappointed.

I love the Eraser for my T-Zone, it really fills in larger pores and helps my skin stay matte. Although it consists basically of silicones, it doesn't break me out. The only disadvantage is that it's expensive compared to the rest of the line, but other primers like this are expensive too and you can also get small amounts which nevertheless last a good while!

No, no, no. Did nothing for me, but make my foundation look cakey. Didn't hide or help pores or fine lines, made them look worse. Didn't care for this at all.

LOVE this stuff! I've tried so many foundation primers and none of them do anything for me...while this doesn't give me a "soft focus" look or anything like that..it DOES make my skin super smooth feeling..and it smooths out any lines, pores, or dry spots I have making foundation do on flawlessly...I ordered a second one, but this time I got the cream What Red Eraser? can't wait to try that one as well!
