I didn't notice the stinging sensation that other reviewers noted... I applied a thin layer (just as the instructions noted) and let it dry for more than it said on the bottle. Instead of only 10 minutes, I left it on for like 30. When I rinsed it off, my skin felt really smooth and soft, and it was slightly reddish-pink. The redness went away after 15 minutes, so I'm not worried.

It really helped reduce the size of the pores on my nose, and everywhere else and reduced the oil buildup on my chin. I had these flesh coloured bumps there before, that were not pimples, but they were just there. After using this mask, they are gone! I even feel that this mask has helped firm up my skin. Aside from the Kaolin clay and the avocado and rosemary, this mask also contains several vitamins (like vitamins A and E) and various fruit extracts.

The smell is a little strange, not as yummy as the "pore me" scrub (which I love!), but I can deal with it. It was $5 here in Canada, so I'm definitely buying again!

EDIT [04.28.06]: I find that it works best when you but a blob between your fingers, rub your fingers together (to make it spread out) and then massage it into your face as if you were using a scrub. Yes, it does tingle/burn more this way, but it works sooo much better!! HG!!

EDIT june 30, 2007: I have found the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask to be better than this one, so I won't repurchase this. However, I do still believe this is a good product.

The scent didn't wow me like All Mixed Up Mash Mask and the Pore Me scrub did. Definitely not offensive.
I tried this on after using the Pore Me scrub. Nice and smooth going on, but stung quite a bit around the nose. Probably because it had been recently scrubbed. It tingled and stung a little when I put it on, which had me concerned that the rest of my face would start stinging, but after reading the other reviews here, that's supposed to happen. I didn't really like that because I've had allergic reactions to masks before, and that's how it starts - first a tingle, then stinging. Hmm... I'll try it a few more times without using a scrub beforehand to see if that minimises the tingling. It tightened a little as it dried. Easy to rinse off and my skin felt smooth afterwards.
You get a lot of product for the amount you pay. And you don't need to pay a lot for this either. The tube design is handy - I'm a fan of fliptop lids.

UPDATE: 2 days later, and my nose is still blackhead free! My nose is still smooth. Wow! I'm impressed.

I bought this last year and stopped using it because I thought I was allergic to it, it tingled alot, but it turns out it is supposed to tingle when I use it. So I gave it another try and it worked well, the smell is invigorating that must be the rosemary. and it left my oily skin smooth. It tightens when it dries and makes skin feel firmer. Maybe i'll try the other masks in this line.

I simply LOVE it, it absorbs the oil on the t-zone without overdrying my skin, which is exactly what I was looking for. It feels very tight when it starts to dry but I don't mind. And the price is mmm...

My main complaint was this mask felt like it was burning the skin on my face off. Tingly? Yes. Pleasant? Not at all. I thought I had an allergic reaction to it because I've never had a mask burn so much before. It does work well enough for the price.

I just love love love this mask!! Where to begin!?! It keeps the oilness down in my t-zone and helps to keep my skin clear! I love the tingly feeling and the smell. It's very invigorating and natural smelling. The price is also fantastic! When I found this stuff, I was quite surprised and skeptical at first that Got2B had a skincare line since I associate it more with hair products.

As well, I saw one reviewer mention crushing up aspirin and making a paste with it to make it more potent. Great idea! I had cystic pimple on my cheek, and the next day it had flattened and was almost gone! I hope they never discontinue this stuff!

Love this! I bought some last night because I was getting PMS skin... little zits popping up everywhere and blotchy complexion. I am used to the thick texture of Mint Julep mask, so this seemed too thin at first, but it set very nicely and dried fairly quickly so I didn't have to leave it on forever. This morning most of my little baby zits were gone and my skin was less blotchy and felt smooth. I love the smell of rosemary so I actually enjoyed the scent.

I bought this last summer in DC where my face was responding badly to the humidity. It cleared things up nicely and I use about once a week now. Smell is very faint, similiar to a men's cologne, as previously noted, and does not linger. Super inexpensive, very effective.

I really like using this mask right after getting out of the shower. I like the smell and how easy it is to apply and rinse. UPDATE: This mask gets even better when you mix it with apsrin as a mask/scrub! And I use it that way for 15 minutes!

In Your Face Pure Intent Clay Masque has a light rosemary-minty fragrance which I found to resemble men's cologne, but not overpowering. Once applied, I did feel a slight but not drastic tightening. This did not break out my blemish prone skin, however it did loosen the clogged pores, which made it much easier to use a pore extractor immediately after rinsing off the mask - a characteristic I like because usually it's difficult extracting without steaming.
