Having tried all drugstore foundations with no luck I decided to try clinique. The lady recommended this one due to my oily and acne prone skin. She said it was make to reduce oil. After the first few applications I found that it went on smooth but after a few hours my face looked extremely oily. I also found that I broke out after using it. It does cover well, but emphasizes the size of my pores. The lady suggested that I use a powder to lightly dust over the top to 'set' the foundation. I found that helped a bit but not much.

Having acne when I was youner left me now with acne scars and I have uneven skin tone. I was afraid to use a foundation I thought it would make me break out, I came across Clinque's Superfit and I have been using for years now. I love that it is lightweight but, still gives great coverage. I tend to be on the oily side and it stays put all day giving me nice a flawless look. If you are looking for a lightweight foundation with great coverage then this is the foundation for you.

+1 = great coverage & matches my skin tone nicely
+1 = controls oil
+1 = nice, controllable up-right squeeze bottle
+1 = blends very nicely
-1 = emphasizes pores & bumps

Three lippies, but I think I'll stick to Revlon ColorStay.

This is one of those foundations that I will just continue to go back to time after time. Even after an extended hiatus with another brand or formula, this one will remain a staple in my collection. It adheres to my skin SO nicely. Because of the thin, watery texture, it just melts into my skin and looks very natural. The color choice on the other hand is pretty much always a struggle. I've gotten close, but I'm not necessarily sure that I've ever found an EXACT match in any Clinique foundation, and this one is no exception. That's usually the main reason that I stray... I like to have an exact match so for those transition seasons where my skin is lightening or tanning, it's hard for me to commit to this. The lasting power leaves much to be desired, but when my skin is relatively clear, that's never really a problem. And even when I am breaking out a lot, this is one of the only foundations where I don't need concealer, just a dot more of this here or there. The first time I used it I was a Freshman in college about 4 years ago and I use it at least a few months out of each year.

I am a foundation junkie! Love trying new products! I typically use Mac, Nars and Clinique. I have oily skin and prefer a "matte" look that is still light and natural. This is by far my FAVORITE foundation to achieve such a look. While it is a bit runny, I simply squeeze some onto the back of my hand and use the small Mac stippling brush to apply it. It blends into my face so smoothly and evenly - sometimes I spray some Fix + on my brush first for a lighter coverage. Every time I use this foundation I look in the mirror throughout the day and tell myself I need to wear it every day because it gives such a flawless, glowing finish. I buff some of the Clinique Superbalanced powder on top with a Mac Kabuki which probably helps with the matiffying effect. I will continue to repurchase this product and highly recommend it to those looking for a natural, matte light to medium coverage foundation!!

I dont like this foundation. I had a few samples it back in September and really like it and it looked good in photos, I used the colour neutral. I got a giftcard for christmas and decided to buy this and foolishly bought the colour neutral which was too dark by then as my tan had faded. I decided to keep the foundation and wear it when I had a tan like in the summer. I just posted a review on the givenchy photo perfexion foundation and in it i said I mixed this with it. I did this for more coverage and to get a better shade. I watch a lot of videos on youtube and everyone who has reviews this product says how thick it is and that a 187 brush isnt good to apply it. I dont understand what they are all talking about?! I think I had a bad foundation or something because when I pour mine out of the little bottle it is like water, I hate the consistency. It runs all down my hand which none of my other foundations do. I dont like the design of the bottle either, I dont like foundations that dont have a pump because I find i cant get the same control of how much I use. The packaging looks cheap, not like the classier bottles chanel, givenchy, nars (i know that doesnt have a pump), lancome and the list could go on. I highly doubt I would repurchase this foundation and if I did I would get properly colour matched and make sure that it wasnt a watery consistency.

ugh, i hated this thing. i bought this about 6 months ago from macy's, and the girl there gave me a wrong match. i think i had neutral (not sure bc i threw it away) and i never knew how much a wrong foundation shade can make one ugly. it made me look like i just came back from my grave. gross. also the texture was gluey, and didn't last long on my face.

Like the girl below I too have very yellow skin tone. NEVER have found a color. Even golden tones turn me pasty looking, then I tried superfit in golden beige and it is amazing. Matches perfect and is great with my oil skin stays on all day! Price is very good, wished it wasn't so liquidy but I will def deal!!

This is probably my favourite foundation to date.

Just so you know, I'm Chinese, fair-medium skintone with yellow undertones, oily-combination and acne-prone. I've always had trouble finding colour matches for my light yellow skin - too light and I look ashy, too dark and I look orange. Being partially influenced by the skin whitening standards of beauty in Asia, I would prefer to find something that brightens (but not lighten) my complexion, rather than accentuate my yellowness. Korean BB creams made me look ashy/too white, and Revlon foundations often make me look too dark/orange for my liking.

I first tried Superfit back when I was 17-18, and looking back at photos of me then, my skin looked amazing - even though it most probably wasn't, since I have always been plagued by the occasional triad of spots. I wore it in the colour 05 Neutral, and set it with some Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder. This fail-safe combination carried me through some of my first clubbing experiences, and although I had to powder my face during the night, my face looked flawless. Since then I tried other foundations, including I.D. Bare Escentuals (which I loved - completely mattified and perfected my complexion), and Revlon foundations. The Revlon ones were a bit hit and miss, as the result depended so much on the application and primers. For example, sometimes it'd look cakey, or sometimes it'd just have that 'je ne sais quoi but this looks awful', and I'd have to take off all my makeup!

With Superfit, the application is much more easy to manage, and delivers consistently great results. The squeezy tube is very convenient and dispenses wonderfully, and the colour match for me is PERFECT. It literally sinks into my skin. I use my L'oreal Studio Secrets Resurfacing Primer (also really good stuff), apply it with my fingers, and set it with my Rimmel pressed powder. It is light, yet provides a medium-full coverage, and looks like you're wearing nothing! It doesn't feel like it's clogging my pores either.

I have yet to try it without primer, and I haven't worn it for a whole day yet so I can't comment on whether the new foundation oxidises much, but the old one never seemed to.

However, there's only 30ml of product and it's not exactly a cheap foundation. But then again, if it's a perfect colour, mattifies my oily-combination skin, doesn't feel heavy, looks natural yet covers up most of my imperfections and applies like a dream, I can't really complain!

This foundation wasn't great for me. I had never had a foundation professionally applied in store before (I hate taking my makeup off in front of other people because of my uneven skintone/acne scars) but I thought I would give it a go after struggling to find one that I liked. The simplistic packaging and advertising of Clinique sucked me in, so I headed there for a consultation, and ended up buying this foundation.

At first, I liked it. But the colour never quite matched my skin tone. It certainly oxidised, so I went darker throughout the day (there is nothing more embarrassing!). Also, in the store, I couldnt quite see the colour under the artificial lights (ALWAYS HAVE IT APPLIED AND EITHER GO OUTSIDE IN NATURAL LIGHT OR GRAB A SAMPLE BEFORE BUYING!) The foundation also didnt follow through on its promise to be 'superfit' and last thourghout the day. I found that it didn't last any longer than any other foundation, which I was disappointed with...I don't often wear foundation, but when I do, I need one that lasts a long time.

I can't say whether this broke me out, but for the price ($49), and the lack of staying power plus colour, I wouldn't repurchase. I now use MAC select foundation, and I am very happy!

The packaging of this formula (like a gluestick bottle) makes it easy to needlessly waste product, but its not so much big of a deal since this retails for under $30.

The coverage is medium to full, i kind of like medium, i'm not a heavy foundation look kind of girl, i like a natural look.

The finish is definitely matte, but it is not as long lasting as Clarins truly matte (the other foundation that i use), but touch ups won't hurt throughout the day.

The forumla is unique because it feels rather thick when you apply, but it feels weightless on skin, which is a plus, b/c it feels more natural and you can forget your wearing it throughout the day

the color selection is otherworldly. wayy more than Clarins truly matte, (but my clarins seems to match me just as good) shade 29 (golden beige) is like my second skin, and i love how clinique divides shades based on undertone, thats really helpful especially if your new at wearing makeup.

So if i can't seem to dish out almost $40 for my Clarins truly matte, then i'll definitely be repurchasing this.

i really do think that all skin types can wear this foundation, even very dry/sensitive

UPDATE: i'm currently not wearing Clarins any longer b/c it broke me out badly, (i guess only on special occasion i'll wear it, which is like, never), superfit is now my current foundation as well as stay true from clinique also.

Loved it when the MA first put it on in store - got told my skin looking flawless - like I was not wearing any makeup. However, since then it seems to just be getting worse and worse. Finished it now thank god! It's a good foundation but tbh not perfect, it does not stay all day for combination skin, but does cover well the odd red blemish, but i find it cakes and sits in crease lines and the colour changes throughout the day.

I'm onto my second bottle already, but not because I love it
but because i was too lazy to find or tryout another foundation.
I actually think its quite cheap (money wise) compared to other foundations that aren't drugstore tho its very liquidy and u end up using a lot...tho it seems to last a long time, probably because I don't use enough to cover my face, mostly just to even out my skin tone a bit. If I wanted full coverage all the time I'd probably run through it quite quickly.
I like how it stays on for a good bit of the day and how its light feeling compared to even a few tinted moisturizers. But I've grown tired of it and can't wait to finish my 2nd bottle to try something new. The finish is dewy, which I like, and the foundation is easy to blend. Though something about the 2nd bottle has left me uninterested in buying a 3rd bottle.
I'm may buy this product again, if my next foundation doesn't make me happier and measure up, but for now I think i need a break to try other things and ...fool around a bit ;)

I am not impressed with this product its okay it does stay on without making me oily but if i try to layer the product it gets very cakey and feels heavy on. the bottle is cheap and you cant see your product and the color gets a little orange on me. i like the top because its very sanitary i gave it 3 lippies because it does stay on and is not oily plus it didnt break me out

One of my favourite foundations - been wearing it for months! Looks undetectable on my skin! It's very liquidy, and I would call the coverage sheer to moderate (I have pretty good blemish-free skin most of the time). I wouldn't really reccomend it for oily skin (I have combination). The finish is more natural than matte, and after a while my tzone gets a little shiny, but I carry my Clinique Perfectly Real Powder with me to touch up. I would highly recommend this foundation to anyone concerned with pores (it makes mine look invisible) and I love how it "melts" into the skin, looking like your not wearing makeup. A lot of people have said there colour is orangey - my advice is get a neutral, yellow toned one (I have Cream) and match your powder over the top to your skin and use bronzer. I use Superfit all the time, and just change powder when I tan (I switch from a neutral toned powder 106, to gold toned powder 116 in perfectly real). I also love how good Superfit looks in photos - like my skin is airbrushed! Photo finish FTW.
For oily/acne prone skin, I'd recommend Clinique Anti Blemish Foundation, which I wear when I want a more matte finish.

I don't like this foundation at all. It oxidises SO badly and turns radioactive orange within 1 hour. Got greasy on my normal-combo skin and made me look like I'd just jumped into a pool of grease. Coverage was good, but it usually got cakey and looked really thick and heavy even if I only applied a little bit.

I bought this product because it said that it would " wick sweat and excess oil from skin, keeping it look fresh, feeling comfortable all day"

yeah, didn't happen. First off, the colour i bought turned out to be one shade too dark for me ( though in the store it actually looked good and the saleslady thought so too)
but then the worst part. It was created for people with an oily skin to mattify so I was really excited about not having to worry about my oily skin anymore. I mixed some in with my moisturizer because it was a tad too dark. It didn't stay on for long... actually, after an hour of wearing this my skin was all greasy and looked deadafwul. I am so frustrated! I really love clinique products but I will not buy any makeup from them again. This was just very dissapointing, especially for the price! I think I'm going to try something fom MUFE , I've heard some great things about it.

When i got home and opened the new product , it was completely liqudy ( even after shaking it ) and ORANGE .
The woman working there colourmatched me to creamwhip which turned out to be completely orange .
Waste of money.

i have fallen out of love wqith this foundation, i used it for a long time and to start with i loved it but not any more ! I found that its colour changed and left me looking orange ever when i had really light shades maybe it was how it reacted with my skin i dont no ! I used it becasue it was oil free and cheap foundations gave me spots, but i think this started to in the end ! it made me shiny too and coverage was ok to start with but soon diminished. Considering its expensive and the bottle design is rubbish its a bit of a rip off really. When i decided i needed to go out of my supfit rut i broke out and thought i would try revlons photo ready make up which i love and made me realise that superfit is just not the foundation for me .
Some will love it but for me its a waste of money when there are cheaper and better foundations out there
