I gained 60 lbs during my pregnancy and no stretch marks in a genetically predisposed family!!!! I say thank you to Palmers.... My routine was to smother my tummy and sides in this butter in the morning and at night and if remembered in the afternoon as well..... I also used the massage cream and pure vitamin e oil, sometimes all three at once.......it works!!!!! Smells amazing....makes a great lip balm as well!!! I always wore an cami under my tops to protect them from absorbing any unabsorbed product.....Thankyou Palmers!!!

Love it!
It has the yummy scent as usual and is so good at moisturising my dry parched skin, I normally have lizard legs, very dry and scaley but not with this, I have nice soft smooth skin all over now thanks to this, I have recently added the body wash to my routine and it just keeps getting better every day!
I love Palmers!!!

I can rave on and on about Palmers solid Cocao Butter formula. There's nothing I've tried that moisturizes so well, without turning into a greasy mess. When you first open the container, it's solid- kind of like a tub of lipbalm, but once you soften it, it's perfect. It smells somewhat like frosting (yum!)- my dog kept trying to eat it as I was applying it one night- it smells that good. And it works wonders for my skin. My heals had been dry/flaky before, but when I use this, my feet are so soft- literally all day and night. I also use this to moisturize my elbows, knees, knuckles, cuticles- really, anywhere that gets dry with cold weather. I haven't tried anything that works so well, for so long. I also have the stick version, which I use on my lips...I stopped using chapstick, and only stick to that. Also, I hardly use any other creams, as this Cocoa Butter Formula (w/ vitamin e) works perfectly.

All time favourite cream/lotion (along with Astral)... smells like chocolate (yummy). I ALWAYS have a bottle, tube AND a tub of this stuff, been using this on my face and body on/off for 15 yrs+ I've tried other lotions, but I always come back to this one over and over again. Only gripe i have is with the bottle, when I'm 2/3 in, I have to store it upside down so i can get the last drop but it's no biggie. But other than that what can I say - Palmers, thumbs up.

When i first got this three or four months ago, I thought the tub would last FOREVER. Now i'm scraping the bottom of the tub and i used it up so fast that my boyfriend actually accused me of eating it (in fact i did not, however it does smell delicious). if you've used it- you probably understand why he was shocked- this stuff is thick (consistency similar to a solid lip balm) and once you work it to the point where it softens, a little goes a long way. unless you use it as liberally as me. i am so addicted to this stuff-especially my nightly slathering on my feet- which has made my feet soft for the first time in at least a decade. in fact, since i started using this, my boyfriend will actually TOUCH my feet and if i am a good girl, sometimes he'll even massage it onto my feet for me (only after i beg him to 'butter my feet' until i annoy him enough that he'd rather just do it than listen to me whine *HINT: for those who would like to try this method-it works best when he's watching tv so his attention is otherwise focused and he can mindlessly apply cocoa butter AND silence me-a win/win situation IMO).
anyways-i also use it on my lips, cuticles, elbows, knees, and have tried to use it as a body lotion (which takes work, let me tell you) but its a bit greasy for everyday use and hard to apply- especially evenly. however, i'm looking forward to using this occasionally as a night-time body lotion this winter (it is sooo dry in denver). until then, i will continue to use it liberally on my feet, lips, cuticles, etc. This is a cheap, easy to find, effective, addictive wonderproduct, and one that i will always have on hand. if only i had this back when i was going through puberty, today i could be stretch mark free.

I love Palmer's Cocoa Butter and picked this up in the pharmacy at what I thought was a bargain. It smells like the lotion but is VERY difficult to get out of the jar.
I had to dig in it with a hair stick to loosen it up.
It's supposed to melt with your body heat, but that's a problem seeing as it's a cold winter. :)
My trick was to lie in bed on my electric blanket for a while and then when I was sufficently warmed up, applied it all over. It smells divine and worked on my heels and dry shins and elbows. I can still smell it 8 hours later! Fabulous.

I've used a whole jar of this and I liked it well enough. I used it on my stretch marks, and I think it did make them a little smoother, but not by much. At first it was a stuggle to get the butter out of the jar, but once you get through the top layer it is softer. It smelled really good at least.

I don't buy any other cocoa butter. Period. No matter what other moisturizers I am using, they are always *in addition to* this! I always, always, always have a jar of this (or 2) on hand. My whole family uses it - right down to the itty bitty one. :)

The BEST lotion ever....my hubby actually hipped me to it, and no matter how many fancy scented lotions I try, I always come back to Palmers...it's lightly scented, I was even asked what fragrance I was wearing at work! Can u believe it?!

I started using this because I got pregnant. I love the smell and it is SUPER thick. It leaves my skin tacky and moisturized out of the longest of all body creams or lotions I've tried. To get a thinner application, I leave my skin moist/wet after a shower so the water helps to melt the butter into my skin, or else I mix it with an unscented lotion (right now it's Aveeno) to loosen it up a little. As an aside, I'm not sure that it prevent stretch marks (although I don't have any right now, knock on wood), but IMHO NOTHING prevents stretch marks, you're either going to get them b/c of genetics or you're not, so any decent moisturizer will help. And given that the smell of this is classic and better than the other much more expensive cake/vanilla-scented formulas at Sephora, I'd much rather spend my money on this and save the moola for some Nars blush. :-D I have gone through about 3 tubs already so yes, I will buy again.

I use and love most of Palmers' body products and wish I could try them all. I stock up whenever I travel outside Germany (where this brand is unknown). This butter works great on elbows, knees, heels, lips etc. I occasionally cover my feet in this after a pedicure and wear socks to bed. My feet are like velvet in the morning! The stuff is a bit hard in the tub but softens when you massage into the skin, it's rich and greasy, perfect for very dry skin. The smell ... oh yea ... think chocolate!

This stuff leaves my skin so soft and beautiful looking and feeling. Love the tub so there's no waste. Combine this and the oil in the summer when u go to the pool and u don't need Hawiian Tropic or Coppertone!

My little one has very ashy skin - this is bar none the best moisturizing product I have found for it. I like to mix it with the Weleda baby oil for her. It really helps improve the condition of her skin. Four thumbs up! (Hers and mine).

Am not a big fan of the packiging of butters, but I don't think there is any other way this stuff could be packaged. It is bit difficult to take a little out , and you have to rub it between your palms to melt it and it is ready for use
Excellent for dry toes, elbows, nails..., and is the best lip balm ever! Makes yoiur lips plum up and shiny and last a long time.

this is thick stuff. about the consistency of solid 100% shea butter. Ingredients: Cocoa extract, mineral oil, microcrystalline wax, cocoa butter, dimethicone, fragrance, vitamin E, carotene. smells lovely, not too scented either. I bought this because I had a lump removed from my breast, and the doctor said it would help the scar heal and fade. But I also use it on my upper arms which get scaly in the winter, and on my eyelids which get really dry, and I even put it on my lips, and it seems to work great. I wouldnt put it on my face because Im sure it would clog my pores. Too greasy to put on my legs, and I only put it on my arms at night. this stuff is solid! i paid 6 bucks for a 3.5 oz tub.

This is a seriously solid moisturiser. No joke. You have to 'dig' it out of the tub and it kind of melts as you apply it. Careful when you get dressed though as it takes forever to sink in and it's very easy to accidently get it all over your clothes.
Nice smell too, lasts all day and works well. Great winter treatment.

I bought this a few months back and didn't really like it because it didn't seem to absorb and it left my skin feeling sticky. I decided to give it another go though and I like it better this time around. Maybe the summer heat helps my skin absorb stuff better, but I don't feel nearly as sticky as last time I used it. I was just going to use it on my super dry feet and knees, but ended up smearing it all over. I think the trick is to warm it up between your hands and then sort of pat all over your skin before you start to massage it in. And you do need to massage it in, you can't just slather like you might with thinner butters and lotions. My skin does feel super soft now though. The scent is what I initially purchased this for. It's heavenly. Seriously, I think this is what angels smell like. And seriously dirt cheap.

I initially bought this in hopes of reducing some stretch marks here and there, and after my stretch marks virtually dissapeared, I started to use it as a body moisturizer.
The cream is super thick, but it starts to 'melt' into the skin when you begin to rub it in. It smells sweetly as well, but not a strong enough smell to irritate my sensitive skin, and nose!
The cream does leave your skin pretty glossy, and it never completely absorbs, so for that reason I only apply this at night time.
If any of you have KP (those tiny bumps on backs of arms and thighs) I'm finding this very helpful. It helps to even out the skin tone and keep the bumps under control. I definatley recommend this for anyone with dry skin!

This stuff is all the rage at my office. It has become one of my HGs. Having suffered with scaly dry legs since teenhood, this is the ONLY product that has helped. I recommend it to anyone. Plus, it smells like cake. I think the tub cost me something like $7.00 CND and I have been using it since for months and months and am no where near finished. I cannot say enough good things about this product. Very good value, very good product despite the cheesy packaging.

I bought this to combat the irritated and itchy skin that comes with pregnancy. Although I realize that stretch marks during pregnancy are determined more by genetics than anything else, I'm also hoping this will help prevent stretch marks (my sister used this during her pregnancy and avoided getting stretch marks). I just scrape some out with my fingernail, rub it between my palms, and slather it on my belly, sides, and boobs after I shower in the morning. Although it seems really thick, it absorbs well into my skin, and leaves a light, soothing barrier (I, for one, like this!). I enjoy the chocolate-y, cocoa-y fragrance. The moisturizing effects last all day and night. Further, this doesn't irritate my sensitive pregnant skin. I'm very satisfied with this product and have already bought a second, larger tub.
