I agree that this product does have a very strong perfume scent. I tried this at a time my skin was extremely dry and dehydrated and it helped rehydrate my skin. It sinks in pretty quickly. *This review is for the non-spf pump dispenser version for normal/combo skin*

IRRITATION CENTRAL!!! Loaded with irritating fragrance and ingredients. If the "red mask" look is what you are going for, buy this. If not, try something with a more classy and elegant formulation. This stuff is CRAP in a bottle. I don't like it, obviously. This is a becoming a theme with lancome skin care. Haven't liked any of their toners/creams (and I've tried about 5 of them). Every single Lancome product I have tried has caused irritation and breakouts within days. UPDATE: Gave this to my poor sis (who has very strong skin) and it even caused a reaction on her. She is the person I give all of my "irritating" products to, and lancome is the only line that has ruined even her face. That ought to tell you something.

$34.00 for 1.7 Jar This is a review for the Cream version without SPF for Normal to Dry Skin. This is an oil-free moisturizer. The consistency is a light-blue gel-cream that feels very light. I thought it was a good light day cream for normal/dry skin. The only problem I had with it is that it is heavily perfumed. I have tried many Lancome moisturizers over the years and actually prefer the perfumed creams they offer but this is one of the most heavily scented that they have ever made. It is *almost* overwhelming. I was able to bear it but the people who are sensitive to fragrances will hate it.

On my third day of using this and so far so good. I'm 42 and have combo/some sensitivity/acne-prone skin, and this lotion hasn't given me any negative reactions. (I have to be very careful with moisturizers, many feel a little greasy in my t-zone by the end of the day, or clog my pores or have sensitivity). I have tried MANY moisturizers over the years, and have yet to find my holy grail, but this one is really okay for warmer weather so far. On the first day I did feel a tiny bit of sensitivity, but it passed after an hour or so. As far as any anti-aging or cutting-edge ingredients, this really doesn't have them, but for an every day basic moisturizer, it's good ( and the price is reasonable). I am though going to exchange mine for the SPF version instead -need all the protection I can get!

I am using the one without spf. It is really great! It can easily be absorbed and I don't feel oily at the end of the day. It smells great as well! With this moisturizer, my skin isn't dry even in winter.

I thought I would love this product because it is oil-free and it felt good on my skin when I tested it. I had to quit using it after the first week because it completely broke my face out, and I hardly ever break out. I don't know what caused that, but I will never use a Lancome moisturizer again. I gave it to my best friend and she loves it. Go figure.

I've been using this product since it came out on the market, and it's been 3 years already. Most of the Lancome moisturizers are rich and creamy, but Aqua Fusion doesn't give me that greasy feeling. The Gel-Cream version feel watery... yet it hydra so well and leaving my skin so smooth and touchable. I love the scent as well, very very very fresh and comfort. I've tried to purchased other face moisturizer and ALWAYS COME BACK to this!! I've introduce this product to my sister, my friend's girlfriend, and "a guy friend too"!! They all love the Cream-Gel version and stick on this product for long-term use. The only problem is.... this product sometimes irritated my face a little, nothing too harshy though. And the price tag isn't cheap, it was 49$ CA, and it's 51$CA now. Overall I will probably use this product for another 2-3 yrs until I reach 30. Then I'll see if I need something else, otherwise this is my HG day-cream :)!

My new favorite lotion! I bought the one with the SPF 15, and I love it. The consistency is really light, non-oily, it doesn't clog my pores, doesn't make my face look shiny by the end of the day, it absorbs fast, will buy again.

My skin: oily T-zone and some dry patches on my cheeks. _____________The light green creme has a very strange texture - very "watery". I was not bothered by the smell but it is not the nicest I've come across. I got this moistuzer recommended aspecially for my skintype after a sort of skintest by a Lancôme SA (ask for it at the Lancôme counter at NK in Sweden, they have it now and then).
I must add that I have never ever broken out by a product and didn't know it was so common until I came to MUA. Well, this one did my skin burn. I didn't get a rash or a break out but it did burn *arghh!!*
I must also say it did nothing for my skin and it feels like money wasted.

For me, this was a fairly decent moisturizer. I have normal/combo skin w/rare breakouts and some sensitivity. I LOVE and swear by Lancome's Vinefit but since it is being discontinued, I thought I would try this. Unfortunately, I did not see any real benefit of using this (although now a SPF version is available). Despite their claim that it has 16 essential vitamins and minerals, it also has a VERY high content of alcohol denat (2nd ingredient I believe) and was irritating to my skin after several uses. I did like the texture and lightweight feel however, it did not seem to really moisturize my skin that well. Maybe oilier skins will find this beneficial but I will not be purchasing again.

Finally found my HG moisturizer. I moved from brand to brand to find perfect moisturizer that wouldn't make me break out or make my face greasy. I have combo/acne pron skin that will break out in black/white heads if I skip skincare even 1 day.(yes, it only takes 1 day). Completely oil-free and very moisturizing lotion. I bought one w/o SPF, but thinking about repurchasing it with SPF for daily use. It's not awfully expensive like other higher lancome moisturizers and very hydrating and grease-free. I love this lotion.

I have been using this in lotion for about a month now. I really like that watery feeling, it is not greasy at all and moisturizes fairly well. But still, I hate the smell. For now I am not completely sure of this product.

I love this moisturizer, it's so light and refreshing and it's not too heavy or creamy on my skin. Can't wait for the one with the SPF in it to come out already.

recently, my 24 year-old oily/combination skin was breaking out and drying out at the same time, so i was thrilled when i saw advertisements for this product from lancome. after three days, my fine lines (from dryness) have already faded, my pimple scars are healing fast, and my pores even look smaller because the rest of my skin is more plump with moisture! definitely a must-have product for oily/combination skin, especially now that the weather is getting colder...

I love this product. I bought the lotion and it made my face feel fabolous. I prefer the one with the spf 15 but will wait till December when Lancome has it out. My face is oily and sensitive and I am scared of using moisturizers because I break out. But this one was perfect. Even my acne scars is fading! I love the watery feeling and the way it don't leave the face shiny.

I bought the cream version, since my skin is on the dry side. I love the texture and the scent of this product. Feels silky and goes on smoothly. Absorbs well and leaves my skin moisturized and hydrated. Doesn't leave a film of grease and shine like most moisturizers i've used. I'm prone to break out so i like the fact that its oil-free.

I purchased the new Aqua Fusion gel-cream, hoping it would be a replacement for my discontinued HG Hydrafresh. Well, since i live literally almost 3 hours' drive from a counter (and getting to the city usually involves a weekend stay at my inlaws or at least a special day trip), i purchased online, knowing that nice return policy is there. I had high hopes for this product and gave it a test run over the weekend. Well, here is my critique:
First criticism = the way it was presented on the website. No, i did not fall for the schmucky gimmicks (those usually turn me off and make me suspicious lol) but i was hoping from the description that it would be a clone of my old HG. Well, Lancome failed to list their ingredients. Since i dont react like most people do to the common offenders (ie, i have no trouble with fragrance), i figured i'd investigate the claim of "oil free" and "lightweight gel texture", though of course being an informed comsumer, i went into this with an open mind, knowing that fall-back cushion of the return policy was there. Also, they have two versions of this product, a gel-creme and a lotion. On the website, not only was obtaining an ingredients list impossible, but also getting an idea of which product was for which skintype was also lacking. So i went with the gel-creme, which was the closest to my old HG, despite knowing the old school "lotions are for oily, cremes are for dry" general rule. Evidently this is also Lancome's general rule, but it was not until i had the package in my hand that my eyes beheld the words, "Normal to Dry Skin". OK, i thought. I can always exchange this for the lotion, which may or may not have the texture my skin loves but may be more suitable for my (oilier, combo/sensitive) skintype. Now the question is, do i want to?
Second criticism = the ingredients themselves. Of course being forced to buy sight-unseen, i nearly expected to be returning this baby. Maybe after enough returns from online purchases, they'll get the hint and publishmore info on their site. The ingredients list (ha ha, i had to make the purchase before i could get this list) contains such known pore-cloggers as Myristyl Myristate, Stearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, PEG-8 Stearate, and (near the end of the list) Cetyl Alcohol. Well, the texture was nice on my hand. Heck, what's a test-drive for? I wanted to see how well it made my skin feel. (I know, conducting experimets on myself, Oy..). It has some NICE ngredients too-- Glycerin, Lactic Acid, Calcium, Manganese and Zinc derivatives, Lysine, and a whole slew of other vitamins, etc. Though i was shocked that a formulation could at once be so GOOD and so BAD all at once (shouldnt they *know* not to ruin a good thing with all those yucky Stearates? Blech!), i leapt out in faith in their famous dermatologists (ha!) and gave it a weekend whirl...
Third Criticism = gotta love false advertising! So, it felt light, cooling and gel-like on my hand, but on my FACE it felt a bit heavy, and with no 'cooling' feeling. Yes, it lived up to being 'non-greasy', because it felt like it wasnt there after it absorbed, but it did take a while to do so, and you couldnt just use a tiny amount on a damp face (even on a damp face this didnt work), you have to use 'enough', because otherwise it doesnt spread very well. And until it absorbed, it had that coated feeling of a normal cream or lotion. Not very gel-like at all. They advertise it as being "As comfortable as a cream and light as water", and well, the second part is only about half-true, and well, creams on the face arent 'comfortable' for everyone, especially not me. I had no problems or reactions to it, but that feeling on my skin tells me that with longterm use, this could be clogged pores and an oil slick just waiting to happen.
Right now i am feeling quite disappointed and disillusioned. In my search for that which is "elegant" in skincare, my hopes are often crushed, and i return home to the safety of my humble Olay sensitive cleansing cloths and St Ives cucumber gel.
Note: I rated this a 3 because, as with many things, YMMV. The packaging, texture, overall aesthetic effect is lovely, but of course, i would rather my SKIN look aesthetically pleasing than simply have an aesthetically pleasing jar on my dresser! ;D
