I really thought this was too orange when I bought through sephora.com, but the more I wear it the more I love it. AND orange is NO good for me. It's a little subdued it doesn't quite make your mouth pop like Scandal, it's sheer enough that my lips natural redness shows through.

Went on a gorgeous sheer warm orangey-red on my lips. I'm a medium-skinned Asian with lotsa yellow to the tone, and this made my lips look flushed and my skin look warm. (Many plummy or brown glosses make me look a little dead.) It's a sticky-type gloss, so I knock off one lippie for that, but it does stay on a really long time.

Very sheer, summery, red-orange gloss. Looks great with bronzed cheeks and sheer orange eyeshadow. Very cute, i havent seen a similar color anywhere!

This is a great lipgloss! on my lips it's a sheer orange with just a tinge of red, definately agree with a previous reviwer's opinion of this being a "lolita" gloss, it makes my lips look innocent yet sexy at the same time i looove this!

This is a nice color and goes on pretty sheer. But, it is also very sticky. This is an ok lipgloss, but not worth $20. I doubt I will buy any more of these.

I bought this lip gloss as a compliment to Exhibit A blush. It's a sassy red-orange colour, tenacious but not too sticky in texture. It's a perfectly sheer red and it's quite long-lasting, as I was able to get through my morning with no touch ups until after lunch. Will be purchasing again.

This color looked fabulous on me pre-tan and looks fabulous several skin shades later.
All things feminist and P.C. already granted... if Lolita were Asian, this would be the color of her lips.

This gloss is super sticky - like glue. I use a bit of lip balm underneath and spread the gloss with a lip brush. Makes a nice, shiny red/orange stain.
This is not my favorite lip gloss but it's quite natural looking and very long lasting.

I really liked the sheer orangey-red shade of this lipgloss, but it was very hard to apply evenly. The pigment in it seemed to migrate into liplines, and I've never had a problem with that before. This was also the stickiest gloss I'd ever tried.

This was a great shade for me but I couldnt get past the thick goopy feel of the gloss. It was difficult for me to get the color even. There are much better sheer red glosses out there.

This is my first gloss purchase from NARS. I cannot begin to describe how much I love this gloss! It's a perfect warm orangey-red gloss for my yellow-toned complexion. It looks great when I'm pale, and it even works when I've used self tanner! A very natural, glossy sheer red shade that definitely never turns pink on my lips like some glosses do. Although the $20-USD pricetag is a bit steep for a gloss, I would certainly not hesitate to purchase "Babe" again...I couldn't ask for a more perfect shade. I love it! I look forward to trying more NARS glosses in the near future.

Nice bright Coral reddish shade. I bought it because of all the great reviews but I just couldn't pull it off. I'm an NC30 of Chanel Sand. Too bright for me. Probably lovely on darker skin tones.

I never would have thought I could pull off this color by looking at it in the tube,but its really very pretty on. It looks scary bright orangey red in the tube,but on my lips it looks a somewhat sheer cherry red/corally color. This isn't a color to wear with a neutral face,but I think it will look pretty with a peachy coral blush.

This color was the first disappointment I have had with Nar lip glosses. It also is one of the consequences of buying on line when you can't see the actual color ... Nar lip gloss in Babe is a bright reddish-orange on me, not a color I like or look good in. The quality of all the other Nars lip glosses is still there but I should have known to stick to pinkier colors.

In the tube this is an orangey-red, but on my pink lips I get a really pretty juicy coral-red color. I'm a warmtoned MMM with black harid and eyes. This formula is long lasting, and not meant for a makeout session. It is expensive $20 USD but I think its long lasting formula is worth it, I have to reapply less than most other lipglosses.

I don't know if NARS MAs are told to push this gloss with Exh. A, but I now believe it's not without good reason. Babe is a colour I never would have selected for my MMM/GGG skin tone, but it worked fabulously! On its own, the result is a dewy, but slightly edgy, look. The MA actually topped Xanadu lipstick with Babe for an incredible punk look; with shimmery brown liner and shadow, the look was pouty, but neither childish nor tacky. A must-try!

MUCH stickier and wetter looking than my Sweet Dreams gloss.So not for me.I like the colour, a pretty red that has a lot of yellow in it but still manages not to be orange. The BF finds it amusing.

Nars lipgoss is truly a great product! A bit pricey, but have bought it 4 times now. I like this color Babe very much, but my favorite color is Sweet Dreams. Very soft color and very pretty if you want a lighter look. Sometimes I use it over another lipstick to give my lips that shiny look. And to lighten a lipstick that might be a bit to dark. Nars makes wonderful lipgloss.
Yes I would buy it again and never be sorry, money well spent.

This is a sheer cherry red color. I like to use it during the winter around the holidays or on evenings out. It adds a bit of shine to my lips and it isn't very sticky which I like.

This is an awesome sticky long lasting gloss. Gives your lips a "just sucked on a cherry popsicle" look. This is very pretty and shiney and looks great with Exhibit A blush. I normally cannot wear orangey coral red glosses, but this one works!
