This is my favorite eyeshadow! I love the colors and how they look when applied and it lasts quite awhile. The only thing that sucks about it is the applicators. They are made kind of cheap and fell apart pretty quickly but that's a cheap fix so not a huge deal.

I loved the bronzey colours so i decided to get it. It's alright. Its shimmery and its a bit pigmented. Its not flaky so its easy to applicate but it breaks pretty easily. Its also very blendable so it is easy to mix colours.
I probably would purchase this again.

I bought this product about a year ago, thinking the colours would bring our the colour of my blue-green eyes......
Pros:
Cheap

Cons:
Packaging is horrible, palette cover broke right away
Colour intensity is minimal, must apply ALOT to notice it's there
Colours are very dull looking when applied, not at all as vibrant as when in package
And, maybe it's just me, but I really don't think the colours look good together

Will not buy again.

Shimmer, shimmer, shimmer. I love shimmer. Some people don't like over the top shimmery eyes, I thrive on them! My deep chocolate eyes look absolutely AMAZING with this quad and a primer. Without a primer, it sucks. As does any of the quads. With a primer... ah-mazing. I have most of the colors in more expensive brands (bare minerals, Fifi Mahoney) that I don't like using on the every day. So, this works nicely.

Cheap. But, the packaging sucks major. Easily breaks, don't carry it with you.

I loved the colors in the Sunlit Bronze palette when I was looking at the different palettes in the store. I got home and immediately went to try them on (using a brush, not the applicators in the container). Wow. This palette is shimmery. Really. Shimmery. I applied the color designated for "Lid" over most of my eyelid. I applied the "Crease" color in the crease of my eyelid. Then I put the darkest color (for the outer corner of the eye) over the lowest part of my eyelid, above the lash line, to give a smokier, fuller-lash effect. I was almost going to skip the "Brow Bone" shade completely, but I stupidly decided to apply it at my lower lash line to brighten up my eyes. What a bad idea! The whole palette made me look extra-shiny, like a disco ball, and it didn't have much pigment, either. This could be a pretty palette if you like shimmer, but there's not a whole lot of pigment at all. I wear sunscreen, and normally, I look a bit glow-y because of the sunscreen, but the Sunlit Bronze seemed to bring out the shine on my face, and I looked either greasy or wet! Yuck! This could be pretty on the right face; just be warned that it's all shimmer and hardly any real color.

If I got a dollar for every compliment I got on how pretty my eyeshadow is everytime I wore this I would be a VERY rich person right now :D
I don't use the whole quad, in fact the only two colors I use are the goldish color you put on the whole lid and the off-white highlighter to achieve a shimmery daytime look and if I want to achieve a night look, I just take another darker matte shadow (not from this quad, I found using the shimmery dark brown in the quad along with the lid color and highlighter resulted in an OTT glittery look I really hated) like plum or navy blue and apply it to the crease. I agree the pigmentation isn't the best but if you wet the brush and use a primer as my fellow MUAers said it really does works fabulously.
UPDATE: I'm docking this down to two lippies: I'm really really sick of layering on layer after layer of this shadow to get the color to finally show up. There's simply not enough pigment in this eyeshadow - the colors are pretty and all but only if they show up, which takes layer after layer after layer.....

I've wanted this product for such a long time and when I finally had enough money to decide to buy it, i totally regret it.

I got the product in sunlit bronze which usually is a great color to compliment my eye color. The whole coppery golden colors make my green eyes pop like crazy, but in applying each shade, to finally get to the dramatic look, all I got was more and more glitter in a different color.

To me...the pigmentation sucks. I was so excited when I bought it and now I just want to give it away.
Will not be repurchasing. sorry!

I love love these eyeshadows. I have learned a trick with them. I like the reviewer above did not think they stayed on well until I discovered how to apply. I take my applicator and swipe it in a little water from the bottom of my sink then apply the eyeshadow and wha-law. It stays on all day long and stays on dark. I love the darkest brown color in the pallette. Looks so shimmery and great with dark brown eyeliner. It will be hard to put on and quite messy if you don't dampen your applicator first. I love this.. will buy again when I run out...

I love this! When used with a primer these shadows are shimmery and vibrant. Perfect for summer. And super cheap (especially during a sale).

bought on a whim, serves me right, you have to apply like 5 times to even be able to tell you have eye shadow on at all. then it wears off immediately.

I was surprised by all the reviews commenting on the lack on pigmentation in these shadows because I thought for the price they were not bad at all. I loved how the colors complemented my brown eyes, and although I did have to reapply once before the end of the night, but I didn't think that was too bad, so all in all I would buy again!

Yes, this product comes off sheer, but with a primer??? WHOA. Beautiful colors. I think i'll be keeping this in my HG pile for a while. Summer is coming up and I can't think of any colors more beautiful to wear.

edit: I wanted to get another for my stash and notice that the newer ones under the same name weren't the same color-wise. I am SO DISAPPOINTED. what happened???? I need to find the older ones on ebay. =(

This product wasn't that great .. they have a 4 color palette and you're supposed to blend them but the colors don't really come out unless you put on A LOT of it. I'm really into metallic/shiny makeup but this was an overkill .. I didn't like how it wasn't that pigmented and I don't know how to explain it, but the powder wasn't thin enough. By the end of the day, there was no more eyeshadow on my eyes except for on the creases of my eyes......Anyway, i wont be repurchasing-- The worker @ sephora told me to try L'Oreal HIP eyeshadow if i wanted something cheap and good.

Very nice Maybelline! I was really wanting to try some of their new reformulated eyeshadows and finally I got two quads --Sunlit Bronze and Enchanted Forest-- All I can say is decency at last! I have only tried the Sunlit Bronze quad and really liked it. The colors apply softly w/ nice pigment, they all blend together very well. The quad has a dark taupe, coppery bronze, sandy vanilla and light peachy bronze --all colors w/ pretty shimmer. No complaints here, of course they aren't Chanel, but really worth a try. As a matter of fact, I plan on getting some other colors.

Too bad! For the most part, Maybelline's revamped e/s are an improvement over their previous formulation, but this quad in particular is more like MAC Lustres (the bad ones). So pretty and sparkly in the palette but you put them on and where'd they go?
Unless you like really sheer colours, skip this one by.

I was really excited when I saw the Maybelline reformulated its eyeshadows and that the eyeshadow quads all look gorgeous. I have never purchased any Maybelline eyeshadow before but my local drugstore was having a BOGOF so I purchased a variety of the "new formula" eyeshadow quads.

This quad has earthy, shimmery colors - two of them are in different shades of copper, one of the shadows is a gold shimmer, then the last one is a medium shimmery taupey/bronze color. But what a disappointment! I echo the other reviewers' comments that this quad is too sheer. Barely any of the shimmer gets on my lids and barely any of the color appears as well and I have pale skin!

Also, the packaging of the quad is flimsy and the clear plastic cover doesn't look sturdy. It also looks quite cheap.

But there are other quads with the new formula that are so much better and much more pigmented than this one so don't give up on Maybelline eyeshadows just yet until you try them.

I agree with the parts of earlier reviews that said this looks great in the package but has almost no color when applied and it fades by the end of the day, compred to other drugstore shadows. And I generally don't wear expensive shadows because highly pigmented ones turn to dust on me and are gone in an hour. So, given my cheap shadow perspective, this is not the best choice for a $6 shadow. On the other hand, the overall shimmery effect (before it faded) was not bad if I don't use it expecting much color contrast, so I may keep it. I don't know how a company makes a shadow look so good you buy it, but skimps on pigment (to keep the price down?) and ends up just convincing you not to try any more from the line. It doesn't seem like a winning strategy unless you are in a market of one-time purchases only. Maybe that is Maybelline's market, but usually beauty products are aimed to establish brand loyalty, from what I know. This reformulated product won't do it for me.

The colors look so pretty in the container but they just don't measure up once applied on the eyelids. Then again, for the price I'm not surprised. You have to really apply the color more than once over the eyelid to get a nice application. Through the day, the color just didn't last (esp after sweating).

I don't think I'll buy this shade again.

The colors in this quad are really pretty, but they all show up almost the same. Its still good to use for a natural blending effect. It stays on for quite a while and doesn't cake up either (at least not on me). I think it was a good purchase and I would probably repurchase this quad again ^-^
