This product was recommended to me by all of the SA's at Sephora. I swear they have a shrine set up to the whole Caudalie line. I use this product in the morning in the shower to get rid of any residual residue and nightly funk on my face. I am in love with this product for 1. It's smell. It's sooo delicious, clean, and green smelling. I feel like I'm out in a vineyard in France when I wash with this. 2. the packing is awesome. It's so wonderful for travel. Perfect size and I love products that foam. I've only been using this for a week, so I will update later. But so far my skin has been liking it. Even if this product did nothing, I think I might use it just b/c of the scent.

I adore this cleanser and treat it as a luxury whenever I use it. It leaves my skin feeling balanced, calm, and wonderfully soft. Can't wait to try the rest of the Caudalie line.

I bought this because it is "soap free" which is important when using AHA products. I recently started using Tazorac and SkinTx hydroquinone 4% so I needed a very gentle cleanser without any extra acids etc...

I love the scent, the price, the consistency, and the cleansing power.

There are really no cons with this for me :-)

My HG cleanser! It's light, non-drying and inexpensive. $25 may seem expensive for a cleanser, but it lasts forever. I've had mine for nearly 3 months and I still have half the bottle left. The reason why I love this product so much, though, is not that it cleanses (DUH!), but that it has really improved the appearance of my skin. Out of pure laziness, for a few weeks I hadn't been putting on any serums or moisturizers on my skin. My normally clogged pores were NOT clogged! I don't know what it is about this cleanser that is helping my pores (it doesn't contain any AHA/BHA's to my knowledge), but my pores have never looked better.

I have been struggling with ance my whole adult life and nothing has worked as well as my current skincare/makeup regiment. I love this cleanser, it keeps the pimples at bay and keeps my skin comfortable and balanced. I never feel oily or overly dry. I then use the Caudalie Cleansing water to tone and remove any other excess makeup this doesn't pick up-- which isn't much because this does one hell of a job. Or I just use the Cleansing water alone at the end of the night when I don't wear makeup all day. Then I use the Caudalie beauty elixir and spray it all over my face followed by the Epicuren Propolis lotion- my ultimate saving grace HG product. To keep the under eye bags at bay I use the Caudalie eye and contour cream in conjunction with Prepartion H. I also use the Caudalie lip balm... amazing product as well it has become my addiction. For makeup I use Nars bronzer in Laguna and Orgasm Blush Duo and the Cargo one base concealer foundation to hide the one or two small pimples I get around that time of the month. --- Try this regiment if you have normal to combination skin with surface dryness that leads to breakouts under the skin (mainly whiteheads), it will change your life. Everyone I know can't believe I am 25, they think I look like I am 20 yrs old. Not to mention those who are closer to me who have seen my face without makeup during times when it looked like a minefield, cannot believe how great my skin looks!!

I picked up the travel size of this because I was going to spend the night at a friend's house, and I needed something small that wouldn't leak into my overnight bag. This cleanser serves that purpose quite well! But ever since I started using it about five days ago, it's drying my skin out. I have combination (normal to oily) skin that rarely ever gets dry and tight. This is the only new product in my skin care routine, so I know it's this cleanser causing that slight itchiness afterward. As much as I love the smell (sweet yet clean) and the fancy French words on the packaging, I can't keep using this.

It takes off the make-up very well without drying my combination sensitive skin, I also like a smell, a pakaging. A bottle of 150ml stays for 4 months.

I adore this cleanser! I used it last night for the first time. I apply heavy makeup every day including waterproof mascara that I take off with a very oily eye makeup remover. After using the remover, I'm left with a slicky oily face that I usually have to wash twice in order to get the greasy feeling off of it. I put a pump of this in my hand and started to rub it on my face. It didn't feel like I had applied enough just based on feeling so I put another pump in my hand and rubbed it around and washed off. When I looked up from cleansing and rinsing, there was absolutely no trace of makeup on my face. This is a miracle considering the fact that I usually leave mascara marks on my face towel even after washing! Not only that, but my face felt clean and comfortable after washing...not dry or tight at all! I love this stuff and its great smell when I wash my face!
Update: I've found oil based cleansers now and I won't be using this stuff anymore!

I thought the product was a great concempt when i frist tried it. I actually bought it in france when i was there. It did not remove my makeup completely nor my eyemakeup. I still prefer gel foaming cleanser or a cream foaming cleanser. I believe they do a better job cleansing the skin, though i do use the remainder of the product in the shower to remove my night treatment. I will not be buying this product again,

I was recently in Vegas and realized "oh NOOO" I forgot to pack my face cleanser. So I rapidly found a Sephora and the first SA I asked about a cleanser quickly made a bee line for Caudalie. She gave me the whole speech about the line and really recommended this cleanser-so of course I bit the bait and bought the travel size (thank goodness I did). I thought it was such a waste of product. I liked that it smelled nice, was gentle, and foamy. I hated that I had to use about five pumps to really get it to work. Although the travel size is only $10 it's still $10 that I don't plan on wasting. This product is really for someone who wears no make up and has terribly sensitive skin. So back to Sephora it goes. By the time I headed back to Cali I broke out and my face was a mess. I also used samples of other products in the line-YUCK!

i have very sensitive skin that swiches between dry and combination depending on the season. in the spring and summer months, i really like this product. it cleans my skin without leaving a oily film or overdrying it. i use a pump and half of this product. i mostly love that it didn't irritate my skin because many cleansers turn it bright red. the botle is very nice and i prefer pump bottles overall. i was pleasantly surprised by the smell because it smells floral and not at all like chemicals (as many other cleanser tend to). i will use this in the spring and summer months but i think i will need another cleanser for the fall and winter.

I have such mixed feelings over this product, It has been the only non-drying product that I have used in my 30yrs of living. Now, w/that being said, I have always suffered from break outs, after break out, after... you get the point. I loved its foam and one pump rule but for my acne prone skin it just was not strong enough. I'm still searching for something strong enough for those nasty zits and still nice to my overall skin... EDIT: I have gone back to using this product and switching its use to every other week along w/the Biomedic Salicylic acid wash, which works but too damn drying.

I *LOVE* this cleanser! Perfect for the mornings. It's extremely gentle, removes just enough oil yet leaves my skin feeling supple and hydrated after washing. I have combo skin and this cleanser is just right for balancing my skin first thing in the morning. I love the foaming pump too, it really saves the amount of product you use, so it lasts a decent amount of time. Def would buy again!

This is my HG cleanser for oily, sensitive, blemish prone skin. I absolutely love the smell, packaging, foam, but most importantly how the cleanser has improved my skin. I have been using for two weeks along with samples of the matte fluid, purifying mask, and energizing lotion. My skin has never felt softer or looked smoother. I'm talking clear and glowing happy skin. I only wish that I had tried this line before wasting so much money on pro-active, clinique, etc. Those grape polyphenols and resveratrol in Caudalie products are the difference. My dad even asked what I was doing differently because my skin looked so good. What!? I realize that it has only been two weeks so I may need to wait for long term judgement to get so excited. But, I am hooked! And while the line is pricey, too pricey, I am ready to sacrifice and buy all the Caudalie goods for combo oily skin.***4/6 Skin started breaking out, probably from stress & hormones, so I'm trying Jan Marini Skincare now.

This cleanser was my introduction to the Caudalie line. I love how it foams and how it smells. It does not irritate my skin and I feel like it does a good job of removing make-up. I do have pretty tempremental dry skin on my cheeks and I did find that after cleansing I would immediately need to moisturize, but I have exceptionally dry skin. I use this cleanser in the summer and their Gentle Cleanser in the Winter.

I have been trying very hard to use paraben-free and synthetic-free products and makeup. So I bought this at Sephora and paid $26.

I take off my makeup in the evening by rubbing jojoba oil on my face and then rinsing it all off with a cleanser. I had hoped that this would be that great cleanser for this second step, but is was not to be. The foam is, indeed, instant, and I did love the consistency. It does a fair job of taking off the residue, but my skin did not feel truly clean after rinsing. After about 1 minute, I could feel the skin getting tight, and I would quickly have to moisturize.

My skin is combination and, however odd it sounds, rather thick. If you have normal skin and just need something to remove light makeup, this is an ideal cleanser for you. But for that deep clean, I don't recommend it. Also for the price, I didn't get my money's worth.

On the positive side, the packaging is ideal, and it did last for about a month and a half. Hope it helps:)

i dont know about this, i bought the smaller size and was excited about it. it is gentle, i can smash it into my eyes to clean off eye make-up, but my skin never felt refreshingly clean, it kept my skin dull, and i think it is responsible for the horrible breakouts i've had for the past three months. when i use it i continually have pimples and bumps, when i use aveeno all of this begins to clear, when i switch back, the breakouts come back. i'm not impressed and too scared to fininsh the rest of the product now that my skin is
starting to clear again...
update: taking off a lippie becuase it really does not clean well, especially when used for evening cleansing. additaionlly i tried thier beauty elixir and found it to have no effect as a toner and was slightly oily. this is a very OVER RATED LINE
