i cannot explain how much i adore this eyeliner. The tip makes it extremely easy to apply and slides on. the staying power is fantastic, up to 10h. Can be used to be dramatic and powerful or create soft but sultry eyes. love it!

I rarely buy drugstore makeup anymore, but thought I'd give this one a go as I saw it'd got some pretty good reviews. I've rated it 3 as I don't think it's great or terrible, just average. The eyeliner itself applies quite easily, not watery at all, like I've found with some. The staying power is okay, but not great, it does smudge a little and doesn't really last all day. The felt tip-like application brush is okay, and probably ideal for people that aren't used to applying liquid eyeliner much, but I prefer a thinner brush that enables me to get as close as possible to the eyelashes and have more control over how thick or thin I want the line to be.
To sum it up: decent eyeliner for everyday use that's probably quite suitable for beginners, but I prefer to have more control with the application brush.

HG eyeliner for sure! This has a precision felt tip point which is perfect for tailoring the thickness of your eyeliner accordingly. The formula is very very black, and not at all watery like some liquid eyeliners that I have tried before. Best of all, there is zero smudging, you don't need to use a primer or anything like that, and it lasts for 24 hours! I have fairly small creases, and there is no transfer onto my eye lids at all! Its amazing

This is the best liquid eyeliner I've tried. The foam applicator makes it really easy to apply and it stays on for a really long time. I tend to save it for nights out as it makes me look a bit too made up during the day. From what I remember it was fairly priced, I'll definitely buy it again!

I've had this liquid liner for a while and this has officially gained it's holy grail status! This is a drugstore dupe for Lancome's Artliner and it really meets up to it's standards, L'Oreal's Superliner has a foam-tip applicator, allowing you to make precise lines and lasting results. It doesn't scratch or tug my eyelids like others i.e Collection 2000...It really glides on with ease effortlessly and makes the thinnest-thickest lines! It's a very deep black colour with a glossy finish (the one I have is in Carbon Gloss/Carbon Black) and doesn't flake or smudge throughout the day.
Loves This, Definitely one of the best liquid eyeliners I have ever used for such an affordable price, thumbs up from me I say..!

I was looking for a cheap product to experiment with black eyeliner. This one has a brush that makes application incredibly easy, even for a non-expert like me. Good staying power (but not outstanding). The colour is really fine per se but if I wear this during the day it looks heavy on my blue eyes and super fair skin. I'd rather leave this for nights out.

I bought the Silver Black by accident. But I am glad that I decided to try the colour because it is NOT the grey colour I assumed it was, rather a lighter black with silver shen accent. IT certainly suited cool tone (IF any1 could consider black in the cool colour family!) This colour is versatile with most colouring. My eyes still looked done in an elegant way..but can also be layered to make it sultry for night makeup look. Very easy to apply with the sponge tip. Will certainly get it again!

The best liquid eyeliner ever! Makes applying liquid liner so much easier and stays on the whole day. The tip is so easy to work with and it gives the "blackest black" line... Definitely worth the money.

I really, really like this liner. I just started using more make up, so I hadn't used a lot of eyeliner before. But I did try some, I didn't like pencils or these very uneasy brushes on liquid ones. This one is great, it's very easy to use and makes very thin, smooth lines. I really like the brush, it hasn't got these uneausy hairs that stick out. But it also isn't like a pencil. I don't know what else to say about it, it's just very good.

My HG liquid liner and perhaps the best and cheapest of all the drugstore brands. Without an eye primer, this lasts me throughout the day without any smudging (except towards the inner corner of my eyelid but it doesn't bug me) or budging. Pigmentation is good and dries to a matte finish. The only thing that could be improved on is the applicator tip could be thinner as I find it to be rather chunky and tends to give thicker lines which could be unnatural. A trick I use is to apply it using the side rather than the tip, which will produce a thinner, more natural finish. MUST HAVE ITEM if you're on a budget!

This is my HG of black liquid eyeliner.

I started wearing eyeliner at 14, when a punk rocker in the early 80's. I've gone through a LOT of types of black eyeliner. I was taught at 13 how to use the traditional pallette, add water and use a brush method. pencils. ugh - I remember we used to have to heat the tips with a lighter to soften them up enough to get the pigment on our skin.

I've used soft pencils, liquid and brush, different types of sponge applicator tips etc...

this has beat them all for that straight edge 60's black eye-liner look. And it lasts forever. The easiest to apply out, most stay-put, long lasting, non-smudging of anything I've tried.

I do want to try creme eyeliner though... it's the only kind I haven't used.

Excellent liquid eye liner, the applicator makes it really easy to apply. Has great pigmentation, it is a true black I really like it, but it is a bit pricey but I could purchase it with a 50% off coupon ,so this way it is absolutely worth it!
Anyways, I would definetly buy it again!

I actually got this free when i purchased a mascara. Really pleased i did! I tend to use gel liners and this is the first liquid i have used. I really like it, it goes on easy and the applicator is a good size for precise lines. I have it in carbon black and i love the colour. will definatly buy it when this runs out.

I LOVE this eyeliner! It's so easy to use as it has a longer applicator than other pen eyeliners, perfect for 'cat eye' liner looks. It lasts all day, doesn't budge at all. And is a very dark (but glossy) black. Perfect!

love love love love this eyeliner. have been using it for years. easy to apply with the foam tip and any mistakes are easy enough to correct with a q-tip that it doesn't ruin makeup applied prior. doesn't flake through out the day and stays put all day.

Like the reviewer below, I go this free when buying Voluminous mascara in Boots, so i can't complain about the usual price, (a little under £6 I believe) though I'd pay that amount for it any day!
This is extraordinarily good for the price. It gives a glossy black finish which is smooth and pigmented + long lasting enough that it withstands 9 hours of waitressing and running round a hot kitchen. It dries quickly and doesn't smudge on the waterline.
As the tip is firm and thin, I can get into the corner of my eyes with ease, which is a great bonus.
Packaging isn't fantastic, the print came off mine pretty quick and it shows fingerprints like hell, but the handle is long and comfy so it's passable.
I really love this and will be definitly buying when I run out. I use it every day now, whereas before I'd only wear eyeliner a couple of times a week.
Highly recommended!

I got this product for free when buying L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara from boots and i am sooooooooo impressed!
I have always struggled to get a straight line and assumed i would have to stick to gel liners but this has completely chnaged my mind. I love it.

Intense, easy to apply and super cheap (even if you have to pay for it ;D). This is a must buy!!!!
