I really, really like this product and I've only used it a couple of times. I love Clean & Clear products in general because they're inexpensive, never produce any problems for me, and they work well for cleansing because they're typically mind. I don't have major skin issues except large, easily clogged pores and blackheads so I use a scrub almost daily. I recently used a Clearasil scrub that didn't really do much for my skin, and most of the time I didn't even feel like it exfoliated well even though it contained the large, round, blue beads.

I've had this cleanser for a while but never used it. I am glad that it doesn't seem to have an expiration date so it's still good regardless of that fact that it's been sitting in a drawer for a while.

I started using baking soda as a scrub recently, but I don't like to do it very often since it can be drying and irritating. After using this I noticed that the micro-scrubbers actually feel very fine, much like baking soda, except the cleanser left my skin feeling smoother, cleaner, and softer. This seems to be one of those cleansers that I will probably stick to from now on since it is a mild scrub, plus it's very affordable.
It also doesn't contain any active ingredients which makes it a great scrub for daily use.

Me and this baby have history, this was my first cleanser ever! Aw, good times. I havent used it in like 4 years, but at the time i had never used an exfoliant, and this was good on my skin, it was slightly exfoliating but didnt feel scratchy at all, and it didnt make me breakout (mind you i was like 10) or dry me out. good basic cleanser. gotta say i've seen the new packaging online...disapoinment, ur ruining my memories clean & clear ! jk

I've been using this for the past 4 years on & off. This is one of the best gentle cleaners I've used personally. It gives me a really refreshed feeling after using it. The product contains these little, tiny beads that act as an exfoliator. After using the product, it leaves my face tight and gets rids of the dead skin. I really like the smell too :) I always end up coming back to this for my cleanser. Great product..especially for you oily skin girls!

I find this works okay. I don't have problem skin, so the odd times I feel the need to throughly clean my skin I reach for this. I find it needs some sort of lotion to replenish the skin after using it.

This cleanser works well for acne-prone skin. If you like tight-clean feeling after washing your face, this is the cleanser for you.

Love this stuff. My skin is picky and doesn't respond to most things, however, it does very well with this. Gentle but efficient in cleansing the pores. I've ordered Philosophy's "Purity" and am excited to try it, but don't know how it will compare to this in really cleansing the pores. For people who can't spend a lot and who need something gentle that will really help their skin, esp those whose pores are larger and/or get clogged easily, (skin that gets oily, dry, uneven, everything at once it seems) I would highly recommend using this!

So, After I decided to switch off of Proactiv, due to cost and availability, and the fact that each month I have to go out and spend $70, I looked around for something that would provide the same clean with out the same cost. For the past 3 - 4 months now, I've been using this and following up right after with the Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Cleanser, and boy has my face ever looked so good. I use this strictly at night though, because I use a toner in the morning, and at night I don't but instead apply a dermatologist cream. The two cleansers working together actually did much better maintaining my now almost clear skin. The only bad thing about this is that after you use it, the cleanser acts as a emollient, and leaves a thin film/residue on your face, which I hate, and that's also why I follow up with the other cleanser. I would highly recommend this cleanser, totally my HG .

I have purchased tubes and tubes of this cleanser. It's my go to cleanser when I'm in between Proactiv Solution before the next shipment. I actually also use it along my Proactiv cleanser. It takes offmakeup, it cleans thoroughly and gently exfoliates. I love the smell and the feel of the microscubbers - much more gentle than St. Ives Apricot Scrub, even the medicated one.

I simply love this. it's so mild and effective, my skin doesnt feel dry or tight after using it. it's compatible my acne-prone yet sensitive skin too. but the part about removing blackheads isnt quite true, well, i still have lots of blackheads. and it does contain SLS.
but it's good enough for me, will definitely repurchase!

Ok. This product is a great cleanser to use at night. It isn't requested for the night but it is great to do that. I have seen results on my skin after the first week I used it. It kinda smells like sunscrean, but smells good. It has "micro-scrubbers" that smooth the skin, too. This product removes dirt, oil and dead skin cells that can block pores and lead to breakouts. It isn't a pump bottle, it is a squeeze bottle that you squeeze fromthe bottom. I use this cleanser daily. I reccommend this cleanser to anyone who wants a great scrub and wants to have smooth, none oily skin that looks fresh.

This product didn't really do anything for me. Though it did not necessarily break me out, it did not really help improve the look of my skin/pores either (even when I used the toner with it). The exfoliating beads are really small and gentle (perhaps a little too much so in my opinion, though it may be good for those who are looking for a softer scrub).

I tried this product when it initially came out on the market. I did not have any issues with my skin at the time but I felt that I needed to use a cleanser to make sure that I remove all of the debris from my face. Boy was this purchase a mistake!!! I have combination, senstive skin. On the third day I used this product I noticed I had developed a rash on the side of my jaw. My skin also started to itch really bad. I tossed the product and never looked twice at clean and clear again.

Oh, my goodness. This stuff is amazing. At first I was using ProActiv, which was totally killing my skin, then I switched to Dove Gentle Exfoliating and it helped alot. However, toward the end of the bottle I started getting little bumps on my forhead. I got the Kroger knockoff for this because it was only $2 and had the same ingredients and everything (it even smells the same), and my skin cleared up some after one or two washes! The little scrubbers are a lot gentler than the apricot scrubs' walnut shells. I love this stuff :)

I find myself alternating between this and St. Ives apricot scrub because I have always loved how both of them smell : ) This is gentle yet exfoliates nicely. I use it in the morning so I cannot say how well it removes makeup. Does not irritate my skin and I belief helps keep it clear.I'm not crazy about the packaging because somehow mine often leaks out...maybe I'm just not that careful tho.

Does anyone here have the warming version of this? I have that one and as much as I like the warming effect: it warms up in your hands when you rub them together, very cool, this product though leaves a weird film on my skin after I use it and rinse it off, so I have to use another cleanser to remove that.

Bought this on a whim, and ended up loving it. It has little "microbeads" in it but they don't irritate my skin at all. I haven't had one breakout since starting to use this. It cleans off makeup well and leaves my skin really smooth. Got the CVS knockoff for like $3.

This is the ultimate basic cleanser, and it's so cheap! It really strips off my makeup, including my hardcore Shiseido sunblock lotion (which recommends a cleansing oil to remove it). The microbeads are tiny, and there are so many of them that it feels like they're really getting down into my pores. Plus, those little beads never feel harsh or jagged like the walnut bits in some apricot cleansers. Random thought: as I write this review, I can't remember what the product smells like, and I'd consider that a positive thing.

I'll admit I'm known for switching products to anything with a label that says it's "NEW!" or "Improved!", but I always find myself coming back to this cleanser. I wish St. Ives would bring back that deep pore cleansing gel that came in the pump bottle (it was truly the best stuff), but since that'll probably never happen, I'll be ok so long as I have this cleanser.
