Firts, when I discovered the MAC stand on my favorite sephora shop, I was very impressed! I hve never seen such a color choice! and all the colors were so beautiful! So it was very difficult to choose one...
Finally,I bought a very beautiful "chesnut":result impeccable, show the eyes off, long lasting and respect sensitive eyes!
Thanks a lot MAC!!

Well, I've been using MAC for quite some time and I must say I am aggravated. First, most are inconsistant, some are chalky and chunky and few are perfect. Limited Editions are a joke, most can be duplicated with the ones I already own. Just a gimmick for you to buy another shade in a cheap package. I must say I have found a few unique shades but again it's a hit or miss on the formula which contributes to the blendibility. Since I have been experimenting with other brands I have seen the light!

some texture is better than other but they are pretty decent price so youcan't go wrong! like the colors though they can be similar

These are the best eye shadows I have ever used. They are highly pigmented, and come in so many colours and textures. I have so many colours and I love them all. Will definately purchase again.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
Price: $16.00 Canadian.
They don't come with applicator, you need to buy an eyeshadow brush (I recommend MAC brushes to use with their eyeshadows).
I love MAC eyeshadows. They blend better than any eyeshadow on the market. They come in satin (matte) and frost in so many highly blendable and high pigmented colours. They are great for everyday use or for very glamourous photo shoots, they're so versatile. They also last all day and then some. I have over 30 MAC eyeshadows and I will not buy any other brand of eyeshadow. Highly recommended.

love love love! I only own two eyeshadows (swish and amber lights) and one eyeshadow stick (in lucky jade i think? its a green) but i'm planning on going back and getting more very soon. I love the colors so much, the wide variety and the different finishes are amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend these, they're 13$ but to me its soo worth it. You can even go to the MAC counter and have your makeup done with your purchase!

These are my HG shadows, which i actually use to line my bottom inner rim and highlight the inner corners of my eyes. Applied with a brush, they last ALL DAY and the colors are amazing (can't walk by the MAC counter without caving in and getting another cute little pot).

I LOVE MAC EYESHADOW! It goes on quickly, stays on long, and the colors are so bold & vibrant, not light and barely there like many drugstore brands. MAC is very much worth the money.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Tan, Warm Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
MAC eyeshadow comes in a wide range of colors and textures. From the wild fuschia to the subtle beige and super shimmery to flat matte. What I love is that this brand is pigment rich, a little goes a long way.

I really like the color selection that MAC has, they have some really beautiful and awesomely pigmented choices. I don't find the shadow as silky and soft as stila, but stila doesn't have as many neat colors imo. on the one hand, it doesn't feel as nice, but on the other hand it's easier to control the intensity and they blend really well without being soft. my MAC shadows do have to be worked a little more though. so, I wear stila kitten when I don't want to spend a lot of time on my eyeshadow but I prefer MAC when I'm in a more artistic mood.

I love mac shadows! Theyre the main brand I have! Of course there are exceptions but most of the shadows are wonderfully pigmented and have beautiful texture. For that quality and variety of color the price is absolutely perfect

I love the feel of mac, the lasting power, the selection, the quality, the packaging...... everything except maybe the price :)

WOW! I've found my HG! I'm a virgin MAC eyeshadow user, but I just recently bought MAC Eyeshadow in Phloof!. I love it! It has shimmer, high pigment (yay!), blends easily, and has EXCELLENT staying power. (After a make-out session with my BF it STILL stayed on, well that's a first for me LOL)
I can't wait to experiment with other colors!!!!!

I have Surreal and I've had it FOREVER bc it doesn't take much to show up--it's super pigmented, gives me a very dramatic look, or can be applied in a thin layer for a more subtle look. Great quality, I always love Mac shadows!! ESP frost's like this one.

Depending upon which e/s is in question, my opinion varies. MAC is #1 for me in terms of color choices and the B2M program definitely is a selling point.
However, I find that certain shades, mostly matte shades do not apply with the same ease as others do. So for the matte eyeshadows, I'd have to say I wouldn't purchase again. For the rest, I'll admit, I'm purchasing some every week.

I think MAC is a great place to start if you're just getting into makeup or you're looking for fun colors. The eyeshadows are mostly of good quality, very reasonably priced compared to other brands and come in such a wide variety of colors and finishes. But. As someone who prefers pans to individual pots I *really* wish that MAC would magnetize their pans like Aveda and stila do. Yes, their pans come with a little magnet on them but those magnets are so weak that unless you're putting the pans into a MAC palette they're apt to bounce around a free palette such as Trish McEvoy or Aveda. I also *really* wish that MAC would change the shape from a circle to a square - it's just a much more efficient use of space (you can get more product per square inch into your palettes that way). If I want a fun color and don't want to spend the extra $$ for Shu Uemura, I will buy a MAC pan, but as it is, for the reasons listed above, I tend to make sure I can't find a similar color elsewhere first.

These are the reasons I got into MAC in the first place. The wonderful thing about MAC eyeshadows is the huge selection you have with them. So many colors, so many finishes, and so many options! I only wish I had enough money to spend on these things! Like I said, there are tons and tons of colors to choose from, many of which you wouldn't easily find anywhere else. The only problem when it comes to selection is that some colors, such as Chrome Yellow and Bitter (two of my favorites, sadly) are not available at department store counters, but can only be bought online or at a freestanding or pro store. If you can get to one, though, and you're looking for colors, you'll have a field day. MAC and colour is just synonymous. On the other hand, MAC also has some beautiful neutral colors.. probably more neutrals than colors, actually. There's something for everyone.
I find that when you use a base, such as MAC's paints - another HG item on my list - ,these things LAST. They're vibrant, they're durable, and their finishes last on your eyes. As in, the sparkles don't disappear in an hour.
In the packaging, the eyeshadows don't crack and crumble, and they don't wear down quickly. I've had my first MAC eyeshadow for about a year and a half now, and I've got a lot more time to go before I need a replacement (which is great, because it's one of the ones not available at counters, haha). The packaging itself is nice - chic, simple, and easy to tell what's inside. Also, you can depot the eyeshadows and place them in a MAC palette, which I've heard are great things to have.
Maybe it's because I'm a MAC loyalist now, but I have to say, I love these shadows like no other, to the point where I'm willing to spend the money for them (I think $13.50 per normal shadow and $9.50 for a shadow pan). I recommend anyone give them a try. They're my darlings, lol.

Noticed some mac eyeshadows are a hit and miss with me. the frost versions are a bit too frosty for me. the lustre versions (which i simiply love cos of the unusual colours) are too glittery and irritate my contact lens. love the satin range though.
However, i wont repurchase cos i noticed my mac eyeshadows (barely a year old) have started hardening up on the surface and i frequently have to scrap the surface off. Realised that I am scraping more eyeshadow off into the waste paper basket then actually using it. Plus the harden surface looks damn disgusting!

I bought this in Pink frost. it is a light pink with a silvery sheen- it blends well and lasts all day, definatly my HG

I went to the MAC counter because i was drawn to the many awesome e/s colors and i left with 2 of them; jewel blue and juxt. jewel blue is an incredibly bright and beautiful turquoise, and juxt is a golden/lime greenish sheerer shimmery color. Blended together they look awesome and i get SO many compliments! They are smoother than velvet and dont fade easily. I am a mac addict now!
