it's good to have shimmer in your daily lotion with spf, butttttttttttt this is like a cream scrub in your face. love the shimmer not the texture. i can't use it on my face, so i use on my arm and legs as sunscreen and body lotion. i am not repurchase it as face moisturizer. love the packaging though.

Bleh. I hate this stuff. It makes my skin even more oily then it already is! And it has a... grainy texture. Because if the sparkles in it. It feels like if you mixed sand into a bottle of oil. I cant stand this product. It might be ookay for someone with dry skin. I have keratosis pilaris on my cheeks, and freckles, so im rarely impressed with skin products and foundation but this stuff is horrid. My skin is bad anyways, but this made it worse!

The sparkles in this are quite nice under my foundation either liquid or mineral powder and are light diffusing and flattering. I have also taken to putting on my normal slightly rich facial lotion and then putting this on top on my cheekbones and a slight touch down the centre of my nose to catch the light for a flattering sheen and polish
On its own it might just be too glittery but in cloudy winter months it adds a touch of healthy light
Kinda stingy around the eyes and the texture is scratchy because of the glitter so use sparingly
I like the clean pump and I picked mine up for two euro so cannot complain

Oh Dear Lord. This was my first moisturizer to ever use besides my beloved vaseline, and while I didn't think much of it, the sparkles had me a little turned off, so I sought the comfort of... other moisturizers. After using even the poorly-rated Cetaphil daily Moisturizer, I can honestly say that that product is a million gajillion times better than this stuff. It's very, very gritty because of the glitter, and does NOT make my skin look even-toned and "radiant". In fact, if I could think of the opposites, it'd be just those. I knew Clean & Clear never worked for me; I have no clue why I was so drawn to this. Blech. Blech,Blech,Blech.

This moisturizer didnt moisturize enough for my taste. It my made my skin read and I dont like the sparkles in it. The only good thing about this is the smell and that it has SPF.

This product was okay.
I'm asian and in the sunlight, it made my skin very glittery which was annoying.
I did like the smell though :)

The texture of this is awful.. although it does give me a beautiful glow. I dont think it moisturizes that great and it has a grainy feel when smoothed over the fact.. which is dont like. wouldnt buy again, im sure there is something better out there for the same price.

This was my HG moisturizer for a long time, sometimes alternated with the dual action moisturizer for acne treatment. I didn't mind the shimmers, especially as my foundation and powder pretty much covered it all anyway. This moisturizer works well and didn't get greasy during the day but felt a little heavier than I would have liked, so I would apply it with a slightly damp sponge to thin it out. That's really the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Also the only reason I don't use this anymore is because I switched to something else with anti-aging ingredients in it as I finally hit 30.

I love this product! I really like the new packaging of this moisturizer. It's different than the one pictured above. It looks really cute. Anyways, onto the product itself, I think it's great. It has an SPF 15 which is nice, but I wish it was SPF 30. But most moisturizer/sunscreens doesn't have more than SPF 15 I guess. It moisturizes pretty good. Sometimes if I'm having a bad skin day where my skin is flaky and dry, I'll have to use a separate specific moisturizer on areas like my cheeks. This is called the Morning Glow SPF 15 Moisturizer because, well, it has an SPF for day and there's small gold shimmers in it that will give you a "glow." I don't seem to mind the shimmers like the many others that say they don't in the reviews below. It's not harsh or gritty at all to me. I can't even tell there's anything in it except by looking at my skin after applied. I actually like it because it brightens up my face and when the light hits you, you look radiant. It's kind of like an illuminator in your moisturizer. This is a moisturizer/sunscreen/illuminator all in one which is awesome. So I say I would definitely repurchase this product. ((:

This isn't the worst moisturizer I have used but it's definitely not one I want to continue using. I was looking for something to replace Clean & Clear Soft Day which I like to use on days when I am not going to be wearing makeup, just to give me some sun protection. Soft was discontinued so I decided to pick up this one. I have oily acne prone skin so I wanted to stick with the clean and clear moisturizer because they had not broken me out in the past.
I like the pump bottle and the scent is nice, not too strong and not fake oceany (like Soft was). The texture of this is awful, very gritty, it does not feel nice to apply it, I have never had this issue with a moisturizer before. Another issue was the sparkles, it's fairly sparkly and it's not subtle (like the shimmer that is in some Olay products or Tarte Smooth Operator which I use as a tm/foundation) a subtle shimmer I could live with, this is enough that I am embarrassed to go out in the sun with this stuff on my face. On the plus side this does not make me break out at all, so if you like a lot of shimmer than this might be an option for you. I will not be repurchasing.

For me, the only difference between this and other moisturizers is the sanitary pump. That's the only reason why I bought it. I haven't reacted to this, but in the nature of full-disclosure I never react to anything approved by the FDA for usage on your face.
I wish they offered this in higher SPF, but since I use this in conjunction with my Neutrogena UltraSheer SPF 85+ I guess it doesn't really matter.
EDIT: I repurchased this and I guess they changed the formula (I know the packaging changed) because this broke me out like crazy. Well no, but I did get random (subtle) unwanted bumps all over my face. >:[ Not too big of a deal but enough to make me not buy this ever again. C&C is the only brand I have ever broken out to.

I would not use this as a stand alone Moisturizer..however I find that it is a great when I want to sheer out a foundation & have it appear more "glowy".
I'll mix two pumps in with my mat lumiere or LM silk creme & it's great.
so love it for mixing

This had a very gritty feeling, and felt greasy to the touch. The smell was also very strong, so I only used it for 2 days to see if I could deal with it, but I had to get rid of it.

My mom is very low maintenance, soap and water kind of woman so I never had anyone really teach me about skincare other than to wash my face. I knew that I should moisturize and not sleep in makeup but that was about it. I picked this up a couple of times and I thought I liked the way it felt at the time. I am getting closer to 30 and all of the sudden I’ve become obsessed with my skin. I started looking up what was good for the face and reading reviews on different products here. Now that I have read up on skincare and tried a couple of things I realize that this was not doing anything for my skin. I might as well have just splashed my face with water. There are plenty of things better than this and many are just as affordable. The equate equivalent of Olay beauty lotion and almond oil has been very good to me.

This moistorizer didnt really seem to moistorize for me, if anything, the texture and consistency was very much like sun screen, which had to be the spf 15. I love the fact that it has spf, which is the main reason why I bought it, but I just cant STAND the shimmer it has to it. It seemed to make my face very irritated. Now, from a distance you cant see it, but when youre up close its definitley noticeable, and I am NOT a shimmer kind of gal. Its conisistency isnt smoothe either, a bit gritty if you ask me, but I dealt with that. I now use the Eucerin daily moistorizer which has SPF 30 in it, which I LOVE. Much better than this clean and clear one. Oh! And it also made me REALLY oily through out the day, no bueno. I give it a two for the SPF and packaging, which is very convienent for having a pump, but besides that, theres nothing else to rave about. Which is a shame, because I really do like clean and clear products ):

I wanted to try using something lighter than the sunscreen I, up until this point, slathered on every day. It just began to feel too heavy and drying. Besides, I'm in school for most of the day, not outside. So someone bought this for me to try.
Eh, it's alright...I mean, I love that it has SPF 15 in it. Also, I love how when I use this as the only thing on my face for the day, it keeps my zits from getting worse. In short, it keeps them at bay.
However, I hate how it has small sparkles in it. I guess that it looks fine from far away, but when you look really close, you can see them, which looks more cheesy and fake than a natural glow, in my opinion. It makes it look like you're trying too hard. Also, the fact that Clean & Clear tests on animals has made me rather uneasy about this product.
I will use this up, though, so I get its money's worth out of it. (I hate dumping unfinished products. I'm a very frugal person, so I see it as money wasted.) I'll just go back to using my high-SPF sunscreen instead. I will not buy this again.

I think some other reviewers have been exaggerating the amount of glitter in this product...I would call them sparkles instead. However, they're definitely there, and it imparts more than just a little shimmer. In my opinion, it makes for a tacky finish.
Also, if you have sensitive eyes or hard contacts, this will put your eyes in agony if the lotion gets too close to them. It also has menthol, which is a harsh ingredient. Sunscreen is good, and the lotion itself is lightweight, but there are many better products that offer the same thing without tacky finishes.

I picked this up because I needed a light facial moisturizer, as my face is prone to getting dry after i wash it. I figured throwing in some SPF properties into a lotion couldn't hurt. It's...okay. The lotion itself is gritty, not something I appreciate. I realize it's mica, to give your face a shimmery glow, but it doesn't do that for me, really, and it doesn't help if I put it on under foundation. The moisturizer itself is kind of thin, and dries up quickly, which means I sometimes need to apply it twice, and that's a pain in the butt. I like the bottle design, with the nice hygienic pump and how a single pump gives as much as you would need to apply to your face, but the quality of the moisturizer is low, and the mica is gritty. I won't be repurchasing.

I do like this moisturizer because it does do a good job of moisturizing my skin and leaves it nice and smooth, so that's good, but there are just two things that I really don't like about it. First, when you put it on it has tiny little shimmers in it and it makes your face sparkle like crazy in the sunlight. The other thing I don't really like about it is that is has a kind of rough consistency and I'm not sure if that's because of the sparkles or not. It feels kind of weird I don't know how to describe it. It is a good moisturizer though and if it wasn't for the shimmers I would repurchase, and the packaging is awesome. You can easily control how much is coming out. So I do like it, just not enough to repurchase
