I bought this after seeing EnKore's tutorial on hard to curl lashes. I put this clear mascara on, let it dry for about a minute, then curled my lashes and applied regular mascara. Amazing result! It does feel very wet when you first put it on.

I normally don't like using regular black mascara, so this was a safe choice for me. I liked how the mascara wand is curved, so you can get into the corners and get all the lashes. I'm not sure if a lot of mascaras are like that though... The things I didn't really like was how it applies so "wet", and how it creates tiny white flakes after a few hours. Nevertheless, I'll probably buy it again.

This product is one of my secret makeup tools. I'm a self-professed mascara whore and my eyelashes have be just "so" or else I'm not happy. I know you're supposed to put on your mascara after you've done everything, but I'm just not that kind of gal. Before doing anything else, I curl my lashes, apply mascara and then go over that first layer with my CG clear mascara. Yes, it makes a huge mess. Every morning, I look like a little raccoon, but you see my dear readers, combing the clear mascara through the regular mascara - and using your eyelids as a base - creates the smoothest, clump free lashes you could ever imagine. And the separation! Let's just say I get asked all the time if I'm wearing fake lashes or if those are really my lashes. I promise you, it really works. I go through a lot of Q-tips in my quest for perfect lashes, but there's nothing worse than heavy feeling crunchy lashes. (Gross.)

Try it sometime and you'll see. It may take a couple of tries to develop your expertise, but the clear mascara trick works.

Oh, and another thing, once your lashes dry and you've done your other eye makeup, you can go over the first layer of mascara another couple hundred times without any dreaded buildup. (So long as your actual mascara is a quality one.)

Hope it works for you!

I put this under my Lash Exact to lengthen my lashes and make the Lash Exact go on very smoothly. Sometimes I use it alone for a fresh look on no makeup days. I just don't like how this clear mascara takes so long to dry.

I hate the brush most of all,but the product itself did nothing but make my eyelashes clump and look wet like I had been crying.

The main problem I have with regular mascara is the "racoon eye" look at the end of the day because it deposited under my eye. So when I saw this, I said, "Hey, lemme give that a try." Well, so far, I'm impressed. I used it on both my lashes and my brows, and it kept my brows in place, and it worked pretty well as a mascara. I can probably wear this all day, and it'll make my lashes look great! The only problem I have with it, is that it goes on *really* wet, so you have to watch out for that, so minus 1 lippie. But so far, I'm happy with it! :)

EDIT: Ok, I've changed my rating. Used it again yesterday, and it just made my lashes wet and there was no extra curl or anything. I still like the idea of a clear mascara, but if you can find this on sale (because you wanna try it), go on and get it. I wouldn't recommend paying full price (even though it's cheap lol). I'll probably still use the mascara from time to time, but I won't repurchase. And I really wanted to love this, too. :-(

I bought this as a brow gel and it does an okay job. My brows still move around at the end of the day, but maybe that's because I just have really unruly ones. :( But I was pleasantly surprised as its ability as a mascara. It of course does not have the same effect as if you wear black mascara, but it does make my lashes appear longer than they are without anything on them. Sometimes it takes away the curl though, but most mascaras do that. There isn't any clumping which is good. Plus, it is very soft and does not make my lashes or eyebrows feel brittle or hard. So it's a pretty alright product. I love that I can have two uses for it rather than one, plus there's a lot of product for about $4.42 at Walmart. I don't really like the brush though, the curved wand takes a little getting used to.

I use this as an eyebrow gel only. It's such an easy way to save some money. I was using Anastasia's clear brow gel but have no problems downgrading here. Very simply, holds brows in place. Slightly sticky or wet look if I use too much. I only find it in a curved brush, a straight brush would be better.

I love this product. I wear it on my lashes during the summertime and shape my eyebrows with it. It's a very simple product that works really well.

I have started testing out many clear mascaras to groom my unruly brows...this is the best so far, but that is not saying much...it does not flake on me or get crusty, dries fairly fast, does not make my lashes shiney BUT truly does not have the "ommph" to control my brows even at the begining, but is better than nothing...I want to try Lancomes, but am so cheap...lol...

I love this. I always have at least 3 of these tubes at any given time. I have curly eyebrow hair and I use this clear mascara daily to tame the hairs. It works incredibly well. However, it can flake it I put it on more than once throughout the day. And after a few hours my eyebrows can do their own thing. But I'll stick with this because I refuse to pay $20 for the higher end brow gels when I can easily misplace the tube.

A little about me: Extremely fair, neutral coloring with pink and yellow undertones. Very dry, sensitive skin, that tends to overproduce oil. My eyelids get very oily. And no eyeshadow will stay put unless I use a primer. My eyes are very sensitive and dry, and green with brown / yellow in the middle.

I love this mascara. I've been using it for years. I don't even know how many tubes I have repurchased. I use it as a brow gel. It gives me just enough hold without looking stiff, and stays on. It does not flake, and doesn't smear the brow powder I wear underneath. What more can you want?

I used to use this back in the day for my lashes! I definitely recommend this, bonne bell lip smackers and loose powder for a young teen. It's like a rite of passage.

I don't use this on my lashes, because why would you want clear mascara? It wouldn't darken/lengthen/curl your lashes, which is the entire point. Instead, this cheap little gem is great for keeping your eyebrows in place and groomed. Also, after reading the TERRIFIC idea on MUA, I use it to tame those little baby hairs that pop up at my hairline. I've never found anything that works so well...Just comb the mascara want over them, and they stay off my face. I love it!

I use this for my brows. I like how the brush is curved and therefore I could lift my brows up better since my brow hair grows downward. This finish it also nice doesn't leave the white residue on brows. I don't maintain my brows regularly so clear mascara is my secret weapon to looking groomed, have to use it everyday. I would say my brows are similar Demi Moore or Salma Hayek's for reference, so they are fairly substantial. The staying power is also great, lasts all day. I think this is the best brow gel I have used so far. The ones I have tried previously are Rimmel and Maybelline. I am tempted to try high end but why spend 3-4+x the amount when you already have something that works? But high end ones I am interested in are Becca, Shiseido, Benefit, and Bobbi Brown. This was $3.50-3.99 (cnd) at Wal-Mart, regular price, so I would definitely repurchase.

Finally found the perfect clear mascara! I like the shape of the brush, for me it holds and defines my curl. Use this for both my lashes and brows and love the over all "put together" affect without having to worry about the smudging, etc. Most important though this does not burn my eyes or flake off as I've experienced with other clear mascaras. I do make sure to clean the wand off on a tissue before inserting back into the tube as I don't want to mix my other eye makeups into it. Will always have a tube of this on hand! : )

I like this mascara because it's actually the only clear mascara that I've found in a department store (maybe I'm just not looking hard enough??) but I just use it at night to help nourish my lashes, and also on my eyebrows from time to time to keep them in place. I normally wear maybelline full and soft during the day and that works great ;-)

Not amazing, but the best clear mascara formula I've tried so far. It's not too wet and it actually holds the curl. The curved brush works suprisingly well here. It doesn't make lashes feel stiff or hard either. However, I must use my eyelash comb to separate lashes and create a more natural look. In order to be perfect, this formula needs to make lashes a little more glossy and fluffy.

Yuck, it left this weird brownish residue on my lashes after i applied it, and it didnt do a thing for my lashes except make them wet.

But it works good for eyebrows, it makes them stay in place, and they dont get that weird dandruff looking thingys like my eyelashes get.

I hate using black mascara because 1) it always gets all around my eyes, 2) it looks really clumpy, and 3) I don't really want the dramatic look. So this clear mascara is perfect for a natural look. It's also great for using on brows.
