I used it in hawaii when my face was breaking out and it really kept my face looking clear, even though the humitidy made my face melt. But now that im back in the state it helps alot. so im using proactiv and this makeup and i think my face is going to clear up alot! thank god for this makeup

I like this foundation. It is good for my oily, sensitive and acne prone skin. It is so far the only liquid foundation i have tried that stay on my face longer than 2 hours and won't make me looks like a greasy mess. It is light weight and feel very comfortable and natural on.

I loved this foundation the first 2-3 times I used it. Then I started noticing that as the hours of wearing went on my face was oily and orange. Not a pretty look. Also, it dried out my skin terribly. Take into consideration that my skin is very oily so something has to be very drying to dry my skin out. My skin was flaking and just looked awful. I was really excited for this product too :/

This is the only foundation I use. I apply it with a damp sponge and it looks great!!! Never looks cakey and doesn't break me out. It does make me oily after a few hours but I have really oily, acne prone skin so that's expected. Overall, I love it!

love this foundation. It is lightweight, blendable, has medium coverage i would say. It does have salicylic acid in it, so it is better for oily skin. I only use it in summer since my skin is dry in the colder months. On my second bottle now and its my favorite drugstore foundation.

At first I loved this product. I thought it gave me great coverage and was good for my skin until one day I forgot to wash it off of the back of my hand and I went out and realized the color was AWFUL! It was so bright pink there is No way it was flattering on anyone! I asked my friend is they had noticed that my face looked a little pink from this foundation and they all said yes. It was cakey and not natural looking whatsoever. Not to mention it really made my skin awful. As soon as I stopped using this product my skin cleared tremendously. The packaging was quite annoying because of the lack of a pump. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Love this foundation, great coverage and stays on all day. Has helped my skin clear up, but not 100%. Doesn't cause breakouts like other foundations and does not look cakey like heavy powders. On my second bottle. It is pricey for a drug store find- 14ish $. Worth it for me.

I literally just bought this product (less than an hour ago)
I saw the good reviews and I ran out and bought it.
As soon as I got home (like 20 mins ago) I applied it all over my face and the coverage is GREAT!!
It didnt feel heavy and it dried fast.
I'm hoping itll keep looking great throughout the day tomorrow
and of course I hope to helps me to not break out and help my current blemishes

UPDATE:
Ive now used this product twice and I LOVE IT
The coverage isnt amazing
it doesnt hide blemishes too well and it begins to slide after a few hours
but if it doesnt make me break out I dont care its worth it
Im so happy I found this foundation!!

I like this product.. but in the summer or warm humid climates its not good to wear at least for me. I wore it today for the first time and it is supposed to be oil free well It was greasy on my skin and melted off my face, and Iam combo dry skin. I think it would be good for dry skin but ppl with oily skin this might make you more oily. Overall coverage was ok but i think i will use foundation for evening and stick to light mineral makeup and tinted moisturizers.

I have been using this as my go-tofoundation since high school. I would really like to give it a higher rating, but it seems like the formula has changed over the years. I am very fair and use the lightest shade. However, it is too yellow for my skin tone. Years ago, I remember the shades not being so yellow and that I actually had to use the next shade up from lightest because it was too light! (very rare for me). It can be a bit drying, so I wouldn't recommend it for anything but oily skin. Also, don't use it around the eye area. It looks too dry and cakey. This foundation is somewhat sheer but can be built up to medium coverage. I do not recommend it to anyone who wants full coverage. This is one of the few drugstore foundations that doesn't break me out or melt off of my face. I like that it doesn't feel heavy or look too obvious. However, I really wish Neutrogena would fix the shades! Not everyone has yellow undertones. Years ago, I used to wear this overnight at my boyfriend's house because I didn't want him to see me without makeup. He had no idea I wore foundation and even called my skin "ridiculously even". If only the shade range was better, this would be my number one drugstore foundation. Please, Neutrogena, bring back the old formula!

So.....the other day my friend told me about this product and that it totally would help the little acne I have. Well.....I tested out a tiny bit of this product on my face at Target (shh!) and when I looked in the mirror, I thought it looked really good, but also was skeptical and thought that it probably was like all of the other foundations and that it really would do nothing to cure my acne. WELL.....at the end of the day, I took off my makeup and NO ACNE! This stuff cleared up my face within a few hours!!
So, today I purchased a bottle of this stuff....and yes, I will write an update on this product after a week so I can tell you what I truly think about it when using it on a regular basis. Cross my fingers it's good!:)

It took me two tries to figure out what my shade was. I first tried out natural tan to match the powder compact that I previous bought. But these run a bit darker. Its true that it doesn't clog pores because it feels so light on the skin. This provides medium coverage, which is okay for me because I'm not looking for full coverage for my foundation, i just wanted something that would even out my skintone without leaving me looking all fake. I've experimented applying this with my fingers, a foundation brush, and a sponge, and the cheap triangle sponge has worked the best, the finish is matte and I usually set it with a light dust of the skin clearing powder

**please note, if you start noticing that you break out in hives or have itchy bumps on your face, cut down the use of products with salicylic acid in your regime. I was using the neutrogena deep clean cleanser which had salicylic acid, so i had to use that every other day

Cakey, drying, thick, bad color selection. Terrible for acne.

One of the worst products I have ever owned. I'm proud to say that I now lend it out to people for stage makeup at my school's theater productions (it works really well for this, in case you're wondering.) I bought this in April of 2010 when I had a random cystic breakout that was eating my face. It looked cakey, dry, and did absolutely nothing for acne. It was gone in a few hours and did little to impress me. I am yet to find a drugstore liquid foundation that really looks "natural" much less one that is "skin-clearing." My advice is tinted moisturizer or powder (such as Merle Norman Luxiva Powder) or get control of that acne and give up on liquid foundations.

I have recently begun using this foundation because my skin was breaking out pretty badly. Since I have begun using it, my skin has cleared up some. The "skin clearing" ingredient is salicylic acid, and that's why some people don't respond to the foundation the way it says they should. I would recommend figuring out what your skin best responds to (Benzoyl peroxide or Salicylic acid) and going from there. The coverage is good and very natural looking. The only problems I have with the foundation is the tiny opening, it makes the product very hard to get out. Also, I find that through the day, my foundation starts to slide off when I touch any area of my face. I don't look very oily, except on my nose, but any slight touch and it wipes right off. I think it's worth a try.

well....when this first came out, i thought it was ment for people with acne issues like me..sadly...it's not really working...i think they shouldn't even put that it has a "blemish treatment"...because it really does nothing..my skin is still the same, and my acne is still there when i put it on with the powder after...anyways, its an alright product. It's worth trying though :D

This was the first liquid foundation that I've used, and when using it I really liked it, but now I've switched to Almay Clear Complexion Foundation, and I like it more. My biggest problem with Neurtrogena was that it did not help with oil control. At the end of the day my forehead was super shiny and slick which was not attractive. Also, it didn't help that much with clearing/preventing acne, but it didn't make my skin worse which is good. I really like the smell of it, and I always poured some on the back of my hand and used my fingers to apply it to my skin so I don't mind that it doesn't have a pump. The bottle lasted me three months after wearing it everyday which I think was a good value, but I think I'll be sticking with Almay

I have forever been looking for a liquid foundation that delivers on keeping my face oil-free...tried mostly drugstore brands to no avail...Finally, saw this reviewed in a fashion mag and tried it..LOVE it, my job is physical and upon sweat I have very oily skin, I find i dont have to re-apply powder as I used to, definitely worth a shot ;)

I really like this product. It is great for oily and acne prone skin. It keeps my face looking less oily than most other foudations. The packaging is okay. I wish it came with a pump because it would be a lot easier to use. The only thing wrong with this is that the shade range is small. I have very fair skin, and the lightest shade is a little dark for me, but if blended correctly I am able to make it look natural. Overall, I really would reccomend it!
