This is the best stuff since sliced bread. I have very fine, very greasy hair. ILJ degreases my hair, gets all product out and leaves my hair soft, bouncy and with volume. I can get enough and I think the smell is just divine!

I love using this shampoo as a clarifier about twice a week on my fine, somewhat oily hair. It smells exactly like a stick of Juicy Fruit gum, and I only need a small dollop to get a huge amount of lather. After rinsing, my hair feels clean but not stripped. It's expensive, but a small bottle literally lasts me months the way I use it. It would definitely be too drying to use this shampoo daily, but when my hair is looking a bit grungy I Love Juicy injects some new life into it.

I've LOVED every single thing I've tried from Lush [so far!] and this is one of them that left me flabbergasted. My hair is very oily. It gets oily FAST. I also swim a lot and this does a amazing job of lathering up and getting all the grease out. Not only does it do that-- but, it keeps the greasies away for longer then if I used regular shampoo. I got a sample from one of the very nice ladies and LOVED it! It didn't smell much like fruit but I'm chalking it up to the fact that it was in a tester bottle. I smelled some other bottles that weren't tested and they seemed to fair better in the smell department. It didn't smell bad though either. My mom said I just smelled like the Lush store-- which isn't bad! I use this in conjunction with Jungle and get amazing hair. I'm deff. gonna have to buy some when I get paid next and recommend it to friends.

My hair tends to get oily and this makes my hair squeaky clean without it being too harsh.
It lathers nicely and smells yummy too!

First the smell: this smells nothing like kiwi or any other fruit that is supposed to be used BUT it doesn't smell bad IMO (it smells a bit like candy).
Second the texture: the product is targeted towards oily hair types, but this shampoo only made my hair more oily then ever before :(
I'm beginning to think it's just like with oily skin. If you use the products targeted towards oily skin, they are too harsh en only cause you to produce more oil ...

I have a wierd relationship with this stuff. I buy a bottle once a year or so, love it to pieces, and after a while get really sick of the scent. It has a great lather, though the bottle is a bit too brittle.

I didn't expect to like this shampoo, but I do. Although it is marketed for oily hair, it is very gentle. I hardly feel like I need to follow it with conditioner: no tangles and my hair feels moisturized after rinsing. I'm not thrilled with the scent: doesn't really smell like fresh juice to me. More like the cheap grapefruit juice from concentrate they sell in cans/boxes. Though it does smell a bit better in the shower than in the bottle. I used it as a clarifying shampoo with good results. So, results trump scent in this case, lol. And as other reviewers have said, it's very concentrated, so a little goes a long way, plus it lathers very well. Would likely purchase again.

Out of all LUSH's hair products this one works the best for me, and even then it is only mediocre. The smell is nice, but it does not last, and you only need to use a little bit as this lathers like nobody's business.

expensive dish washing liquid! One thing Ill say for it you only need use a tiny amount for masses of lather but that same lather is very stripping! My hair had no life and was as dull as dishwater! Im throwing in the towel as far as Lush products are concerned, huge waste of money!

I thought this would be great for my fine( but alot of it) hair that is dry on the ends and greasy on top. This made my hair fell heavy and limp, no bounce or volume.

I wanted to like this shampoo, but it made my scalp greasy. Very unfortunate since it works for almost everybody.

I love I Love Juicy! Works like a charm when I need extra cleansing power in my shampoo. I did notice that it tends to lighten my color-treated hair noticeably, because it has lemon juice in it, it gives me blonde-ish highlights. Agree with others that a little goes a long way. I love the smell, it's like fresh tropical fruit.

My boyfriend has an oily scalp (but normal hair), and his hair would start to smell after a few hours. He had tried everything, and had started to shower twice a day, which only made his skin dry. So I ordered the smallest size of ILJ for him, thinking that he probably wouldn't use it, but then at least I'd have a nice shampoo to use at his place. He ended up LOVING it! It has worked wonders. His hair only smells like Skittles now from the ILJ. His scalp isn't oily, but his hair doesn't feel overdryed, either. It's like the ILJ finds the grease and eliminates it but gently cleanses everything else. It's also awesome to use after a big night out where you used tons of product in your hair, and just great any time you feel that you have a buildup of product or conditioner. The smell is just like a melty pack of Skittles, which happen to be one of my favorite candies. Though it may be a little on the pricy side (there's no LUSH stores around me, so I have to order it online), a little goes a long way, and the largest size lasts my boyfriend, his roommate, and sometimes me a few months. Since the initial small bottle, I have purchased two of the largest bottles and will continue to repurchase. My boyfriend also likes that the bottle doesn't look feminine (just a clear plastic bottle with a black cap and black label) so no one has to know he's using "girly" shampoo when he takes it with him down to his base. The only complaint I have about this shampoo is something that can't be helped: since I have to order it online and LUSH only uses UPS, it takes about 2 weeks until it arrives, and then even longer until I get it because someone has to be there to sign for the package. I know that really has nothing to do with the product itself, but just a warning to any potential online buyers who want instant gratification.

It's expensive, but definitely worth it. The bottle boasts that it contains "enough raw energy to power a small city", and that may be true considering that it is full of natural ingredients! The scent is sickly-sweet and slightly citrus-y with some odd herbal note lingering in between. It's not the greatest, but it's not that offensive either. I haven't always had the greatest results from LUSH products, but this was very effective in cleansing my fine color-treated hair thoroughly without drying it out. I use it once a week as a clarifying treatment. Definitely recommended.

I can't live without that one! It leaves my hair very clean but it's not overdrying (although I alternate with a more hydrating shampoo every other day). I love the smell, and you have to use just a little bit to see (and feel) it working. I noticed that my highlights are more visible too, in a nartural way, wich is a nice plus.

I received a small sample tub from LUSH after a shopping spree (and a Veganese Conditioner, though I haven't used that yet). I scooped out the lot not realising that you really don't need very much...the lather was fantastic..a thick creamy sudsy (kind of felt more like a conditioner then a shampoo). It stung my eyes badly to which surprised me and it prickled on my scalp. The scent was ho-hum...due to its name I expected a really fruity fresh smell..but this seemed more a medicinal kind of scent, but I waited it out and as it dried the scent faded into a simple pleasant 'clean' smell. My hair is really shiny...but I do not think I'd purchase again.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE LUSH SHAMPOO!! if you are going to buy one... definetly buy this one! It smells soo GOOD! It's fruity and the scent lasts all day! I hear some people say it smells like skittles... but I think that it smells like popsicles/italian ice! I LOVE IT! I normally use this with the Veganese Conditioner and can't stop smelling my hair all day! This also made my hair wonderfully soft and shiny, not drying at all... I have REALLY thick hair and I only have to use a dime sized amount to get a good lather! :)

This product is just what I have been searching for in a LUSH shampoo! Like a lot of others on MUA, I was suckered into the whole 'solid' shampoo idea. I loved soak n float, but it is now discon. in my local. I've tried others (see my other reviews if you are that interested!) but somehow none really never made me want to buy them again, and to be honest, they made me miss liquid shampoo even more. Not wanting to use chemical filled products, I turned to LUSH's liquid shampoos to give them a go. So for my hair only this seemed to be the best match. The other shampoo's had special 'benefits' that I didn't need or want. First impressions, if I am honest I wasn't (and still am not) keen on the smell. Sweet Citrusy sick is my best description. However when you lather up, the smell isn't too bad, and fades anyway. The lather itself is great, and it washes hair without drying or stripping but at the same time it cleanses really well. It is, as others have said, very concentrated so you don't need much. At £9.95 or thereabouts it is quite pricey, but it is as natural as you can get, and it does the job. Definate repurchase and current HG! EDIT: After going to the hairdresser for a trim, my hair looked so clean, healthy, and full of bounce after they used their shampoo on it. I am thinking that I.L.J isn't cleaning as good as I thought. I will use up my bottle without hassle, but I will try something else- probably not from LUSH. I guess I am not one who their hair shampoos work for.

I bought this when my local Lush was out of BIG. I love the smell and it really works to get rid of dirt and oil. I don't recommend it for every day washing. I don't wash my hair every day, and usually alternate w/other shampoos during the week (mostly Lush). My friend used it when she visited and loved it so much that we had to go to the LUSH store that day. She is totally hooked!
