this is such a good foundation!! it makes my skin feel really soft and it blends pretty well. it matches my skin well and covers nicely but it is very light. I thought it would feel greasy but it doesn't at all! it has great packaging, which makes it easy for me to bring it with me.

The texture of Annabelle's is near perfect, in my opinion. It's smooth and creamy, near error-proof as long as you're careful around your brows and hairline and thick enough to cover slight imperfections, but still looks natural. Usually I mix it with a bit of SPF moisturizer to make it lighter on days when I only need minimum coverage. I've re-purchased and probably will again.

**UPDATE
I've switched foundations as of a few months ago. Annabelle is simply too creamy and doesn't last long enough.

This is the best foundation I have ever used. I have a really hard time finding foundations that match my skin tone, plus I have really sensitive skin. This foundation isn't too heavy, and it doesn't irritate my skin. I love it.

I love Annabelle cosmetics but was afraid to try the foundation because of the review here... when I went to SDM the other day, there was a final special sale for Annabelle, one tube of foundation plus a black mascara for $3.99!!!!! I couldn't resist the great deal so ended up buying it.
Surprisingly, it works great for my oily skin.
It's really light and gives a light to medium cover.
I only need to reapply a bit of powder just on my nose in 3-4 hours.. and my skin is OILY, especially in the t-zone.
The foundation looks dark but the color seems to turn lighter when applied on the face.
The foundation doesn't seem too yeallow for me at all... well... I am Asian... maybe that's why.. it suits my skin tone.
I like the tube packing but still wish they can chage it to a "snap open" tube.
Overall, it works great for me and I will buy again for sure.
After I finish the ALWAY stayclean powder, I will try the Annabelle skintrue powder!!

The colour was nice, consistency was smooth, but this TOTALLY broke me out!!! I should actually throw it out, just looking at the tube makes me cringe!

This is the first foundation I have ever bought that was TOO YELLOW for my skin. It makes me look unhealthy. I think I bought the lightest shade, Natural Ivory. I'm a MAC C2 and that's quite yellow toned already. I don't like the smell of this foundation. It claims to be long lasting but I find that it fades throughout the day. I like the packaging though. It is very sanitary. I don't think I'll try this foundation again. I bought this on sale for $7.49 Canadian.

This stuff isn't horrible or anything; probably a good foundation to check out if you're just beginning to get into makeup. It's pretty dern cheap and the shades are pretty foolproof: neutral, believable, easy to choose from. Maybe it's just my skin in particular, but this stuff just made me look kinda chalky and... ugh. It's really nothing special, so I won't be repurchasing.

I bought the lightest shade last fall & the shade itself was nice. I usually wear powder foundation but I know that my skin would be a bit drier in winter so I wanted to try something else.

It's really lightweight and not sticky at all. Not too thick either. But I really can't get used to liquid foundation anymore.

The other negative point is that I have an oily T-Zone and with this foundation, the T-Zone looks too shiny. It would probably be better for a normal skin.

This foundation seems similar to the rash of "true" colour foundations out there now a la Max Factor, L'Oreal, etc.

It is a decent foundation that gives medium to full coverage at first, but my skin seemed to eat it or something because halfway through the day, my full face of foundation seemed to be half-faced -- the natural flush of my skin was showing through (I wear foundation partly to tone the red down).

I am NC15/Stila 10/LM Porcelain and this seemed too yellow dark in the tube but went on easily and blended well. I have very dry skin so I didn't mind the thick feel of it but I can't see this foundation working for someone with oily skin.

PRO

- Good for sensitive skin - didn't make my hypersensitive skin go nuts

- Good colour matching despite the seemingly limited colour range
- Easy to blend and build; doesn't settle in larger pores

- Creamy texture

CONS

- Tube concept was ill-thought of for a foundation this creamy and runny.

- Wouldn't work for oily/combo skinned girls

- Isn't smudgeproof, despite Annabelle's claims

- Vanishes/fades somewhat mid-day

- Feels slightly tacky for the first few hours

- Don't think it has an SPF factor

I brought it because the colour matched my skin perfectly! However, it tend to get oily just few hours after i apply it. Moreso, it is so light that it doesn't really cover up any thing. the only thing i like about it is that it feels very natural although it is not totally fade resistant!

I really enjoy this product. I have normal skin (on good days) and this is one of the best foundations i have ever used. It feels light on my skin and lasts all day, unlike some of the other brands i have tried in the past. I would highly recommend it.

This foundation blends nicely and naturally on skin. It evens out my skin tone beautifully. I have normal to oily skin. My face does look a bit dewy around lunch time. As for "transfer resistant" claim on the bottle... NOT! My blotting paper is "yellow-tinted" (a.k.a foundation coming off with oil.) It holds up till the end of my day but not as good as my shiseido foundation.

I bought this as I was in search of a lightweight foundation and to my dismay, this disapointed me hugely!!

By midday my not-crazy oily skin had transformed this makeup into a seperating mess!! It looked as if the foundation was seperating from my skin, as if it had never belnded in at all. Needless to say this is going on my swap list.

Updated 04/04: I'm really liking this foundation for the summer. It's lightweight, but it blends in seamlessly and dries to a soft matte finish. I chose Natural Ivory for my NC15/10 Watts skintone, and while it's a bit yellow, it really tones down any ruddiness in my skin and warms me up a touch. Light to medium coverage, not very buildable, but not pointlessly sheer, either. It isn't as long-lasting as the claims, but I'm combo to oily and I just need to touch-up with powder occasionally throughout the day. I would definitely buy this again. I'm really pleased with Annabelle products--yay for a great, Canadian company!
