Wheat is a shimmery gilded beige that has become my go-to eyeshadow for busy days. I have it in the Wheat/Ebony duo and it's just perfect -- the wheat really brightens my eyes and Ebony is a great smoky black for a liner. I love this shadow!

I would agree to everything the previous reviewer said, except that this is a very shimmery colour - definitely not for crepey eyelids! I'll have to swap it away unfortunately. (Incidentally I found this colour completely identical to BB shimmerwash in "beige"! If you have one you don't need the other). Still looking for the perfect light beige, neither too shimmery nor chalky matte...

Me: Cool toned PPP with brown highlighted hair and brown eyes.

Wheat is a beautiful shimmery medium beige brown. I think it is a must have for nearly all eye colors. It's a great basic with shimmer, you can pair it with many other Stila shadows. The texture is very silky and smooth, glides on my lids wonderfully. Love!

Wheat is such a nice everyday color and a good alternative to Kitten. (I'm a PPP, NW15). It really does look like wheat- but better- shimmery. I’ve seen Kitten show up with almost a coppery undertone on some people, but this is definitely a brown undertone. Great texture and lasting power!

I was on the fence with this one for a while but eventually did end up just swapping it away. It just was way too warm for my cool/neutral skin. I can really only see this working on really warm complexions with darker eyes. i pretty much looked like a zombie with this... it just sucked my whole face of color and the shade totally clashed with my skintone. Too bad because it isnt a bad color in itself... just doesnt work on my skin.

wheat is an absolutely fabulous shadow! its a beautiful champaign-light beige color that is multidimensional and seems to adapt to any other color i want to pair it with, although i mostly wear it as a wash because it is very flattering to my green eyes. it looks great with or without my face being tan (or with self tanner) and as always, same great stila texture and wonderfully pigmented. i will definitely repurchase again-even though i already have (you know, just incase something happens to my beloved wheat shadow, i HAVE to have a backup of this one!!) I LOVE THIS SHADOW!

Here i found the perfect color to match my green eyes. Again the silky soft texture. So easy to apply, just love it. Its like a greyish color to look at when seeing it in the box but after applying it seems to adapt to the color of the eyes. After wearing it for the wintermonths i'm happy to say that the bottom of the pan is not anywhere near yet. But this will be a repurchase. I will return to wheat.

These are my HG eyeshadows. Stila shadows are so wonderfully soft, pigmented, and blendable. Will repurchase again and again.Wheat is a gorgeous shimmery beige. Great as a wash and paired with espresso as a liner.

This is possibly my favorite Stila eye shadow, or at least the one I wear the most. It's the perfect pale golden beige for my fair skin - soft enough for a job interview but it also has the tiniest hint of shimmer to keep the color from looking flat. It looks great as a wash over the lid with brown or black liner but I also love to pair it a bright blue or teal liner. It also works wonderfully with a dark brown or bronze shadow in the crease. So versatile and subtle, I think it would work on any skintone and flatter every eye color.

I just got this in the wheat/ebony duo. I LOVE these two shades together!!! it's my first Stila e/s purchase (i usually use MAC, BE, or UD)... I don't know what i was waiting for in trying this line! The texture is so fine and it blends so well. Wheat is the perfect beige/taupe with shimmer and when used with ebony- a matte black shadow, it creates the PERFECT daytime smoky eye. It's dramatic, yet it's not overdone sparkle drama like you'd wear to a club. I love it!!!

Wheat is a staple in almost all of my makeup selections. It can definitely be worn alone on "no makeup" days because of it's sheer shimmer. What i love most about wheat is it's versatility. You can use it as a base or better yet, layer it over other shadows to change the effect. I also love layering on wheat and then using a fun powder liner in green or gold.

Wheat is a gorgeous golden champagne shadow. I've found, however, that it's easy to apply to much and end up with a "dirty" look, so less is more! I probably will not re-purchase this because I find that other shadows (Starlight) are more versatile and thus better investments.

While this color is a very basic medium brown, it stands out due to the slight sheen that I find in many of my Stila shadows. This is just a great, basic color that's versatile and necessary, even if a tad boring at times.

This color was the main reason I purchased a smaller Stila Palette. I prefer the individual shadows so I can put them in compacts and swap them out if I like. I expected this to have a bit more brown, but it is a very light shade, almost like a platinum shimmer. I like it, but I don't love it. Wonderful creamy texture that I simply can't get enough of. Color doesn't always look as smooth or well matched to my own skin tone as some of the others I love. Still a keeper, but I probably would opt for a different color upon repurchase than this one.

Beautiful color, but completely wrong for my sking tone (cool PPP). Looks gorgeous on my sister, who has a warmer complexion. We both have blue eyes, and it does bring out the blue.

I love this one. Got the Wheat/Espresso duo. I wear this almost every day. It's the perfect touch of shimmer, neutral beige for the office. Doesn't crease. The first time I've been able to wear shadows without base and have them last all day. I usually add a touch of Starlight to my browbone. Highly recommended. *Update* Well, I swapped it away. It wound up being too "blah" for me. I'm not downgrading it, though, because it *is* a great shadow.

I bought this due to the reviews on MUA and I wasn't disappointed with this shimmery champagne beige eye shadow. It gives a great neutral look with espresso in the crease - love this combo for a professional and polished look. Reference: LM sunny beige or GA MSF 5.

Wheat looks exactly like it sounds. It's a pretty champaigne shimmer that looks lovely on its own or as a wash on days when I'm going for a natural look. It's a must for blue-eyed girls who want to make their eyes really stand out :-)

I have had the stila confections for eyes set for eons and completely ignored Wheat because it looked so blah sandwiched between kitten and oasis in the pan. For some reason I reached for it recently and was pleasantly surprised with how it looked on the lid with my casual summer daytime staple, clinique nude sparkle, as a wash. As others have noted, wheat is sort of a coolish, light beigy-brown. This e/s brings out the green in my eyes, adding some depth and dimension while still looking very natural against my fair skin.
