Hmm I like the colling feel it gives my eyes. I'm currently using L'Oreal's Eye Defense and is quite happy with it but decided to give this a try. I don't really see any difference between the 2 eye creams except for the cool feeling.

Big promises, no results. Feels like any other basic eye cream (even if its supposed to be fab!), moisturizes and thats about it. No depuffing, dewrinkling or illuminizing effects.

This eye cream is just all right, nothing special. Hydrates well, but so do a lot of other eye creams, and it has no additional benefits. It irrited my skin at first, but I adjusted after about a week. Don't waste your money.

The eye cream smells really nice. However, I don't feel like it did anything to my eyes. It just feels like a light lotion for my eyes.

Tried this and it was moisturizing. I dont think it really did that much to justfiy the price. Im young and dont really have wrinkles and that big dark spots. But this really didnt change what i do have.

This eye balm is excellent! I noticed a difference in my fine lines and puffiness right away. I have found my HG eye cream!

A nice light eye moisturizer that I would recommend using before bedtime. It absorbs quickly and is easy to apply. However, I would strongly discourage you using it in the mornings because, like other MUAers already mentioned, it peels off, argh!

I am not impressed. It claims to reduce puffiness, but does not do anything special as thousands of other products in the market.
weleda's intensive eye cream is the best!!!! fantastic if you are looking for the cream, which is light, moisturising and reduces puffiness.i know it sounds hard to believe, but i do not work for Weleda and hate some of these company products, but if you are looking for the light cream really try this one as well as elizabeth arden ceramide eye capsules... save your money on this...

I experienced stinging the first few times I used this product but after the first few days, it ceased. I like the texture of this eye cream, which is very light and velvety and absorbs into the skin quite well. The trick, as Nude_Tempo says, is to dab and not rub the cream under your eyes. Eyebags and puffiness are significantly diminished and my eyes are looking so much brighter. I'm surprised that many previous reviewers say they experienced flaking and peeling which I (thankfully) did not. Perhaps using too much results in these undesirable side-effects so I guess the best thing to do is use a wee bit and dab (NOT rub) gently under the eye and around its contour. In general, I found that this product worked well in diminishing puffiness and dullness after one too many late nights and too many hours in front of the computer screen. However, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this. I have a sample of Guerlain's Issima Eye Mythic that I'm hoping will work better, minus any initial stinging sensation.

L'occitane's samples are quite generous, and I don't use a lot of moisturizer, so I got over a week's usage from my sample of eye balm. I like the light texture; it blends into my skin well. Eye creams seem to be especially rich much of the time, to the point where they make my eyelids feel sticky or heavy. I didn't experience any flaking or peeling, like the others mentioned, but I suspect that's because I used the minimal amount instead of trying to lay it on thick. It's my experience with moisturizer that my skin will only absorb so much and there's no point in trying to put on any more; it just makes me feel greasy. I didn't use any eye makeup beyond maybe a little powder and concealer, so I don't know if this would have been problematic under heavy makeup. As far as performance goes, it was a quite acceptable moisturizer for nighttime use (since it lacks SPF). It claims to reduce puffiness and dark circles, but I didn't see any results of that sort. I would only buy this again if I got a fantastic deal on ebay. I usually just use my regular moisturizer in the eye area, and the Immortelle precious cream is a much better price, ounce for ounce.

This product (thankfully a sample) made me break out with little bumps all arouns my eyes. I don't even have sensitive skin - but for some reason, this irritated the skin around my eyes. Thankfully the bumps are going away a bit, though its taken a few days.

Well in all honesty this is the first time i used it i used it on noe eye only to see its a sample i got thank god its only a sample.. my eyelid on the right eye which i used it on is swollen slightly..however I have had this problem with clarins as well... I may just be ultra sensitive however I did not experience any peeling ext or bunching of the product it went in my eye and dissapeared I dont use concealer though... but it felt nice going on.. also does not feel greasy I really wish I could find an eye cream that doesnt swell my eyelids so far the ones ive tried which include lazslo clarins and this one have all given me the puffy eye... a lady at the makeup counter did say that some of thep roducts are intended to do this to smooth out the eye.. makes you wonder

I love the eye balm!! In the boutique I tried it on my hand and it absorbed very quickly!!
I use it day and night under my eyes and do not have the peeling problems mentioned here. I feel it absorbs quickly and dries which makes my make-up application easy--other eye creams I have used never dry.

A makeup artist from Sephora instructed me to dab (never rub) it under my eyes and return in 5 minutes. I returned. With my credit card. It worked immediately! I then took it home and continued to use it for 3 weeks and the vains showing in my eyelids and the puffy part underneath have almost vanished.
The makeup artist says 'rubbing' it under your eyes is ineffective and will waste the product. You must dab it with your fingers and let it travel through your skin on its own.
A wonderful buy that I will buy and buy again!!!!!

I love this eye cream. Puffuness bye-bye! I must admit though, that the other reviews make me wonder. I love the Shea eye cream for daytime-lightly tinted.
