I purchased a mini set form Chanel 5 or 6 years ago and this color was in it, I didn't really give a chance just looked at it and thought "naw it won't look good on me" ( olive skin dark brwn hair/eyes) so then I gave it to my sister, but I started reading some reviews on this color and well I buy glossimers when I get bored, and ended up loving this color!!!! So beautiful on, sheer red/pink on me with gold sparkles but not harsh or gritty.Great staying power and I can wear it alone or over l/s. I will def use this for the holidays along with Imaginaire 2 great holiday glosses to wear.

This color is stunning in the tube, beautiful on my lips, but not beguiling enough to make me shell out $25. The texture is my main issue. It is not overly sticky, and very smooth, but it's so heavy that I can just feel it weighing on my lips, even with a sheer coat. I'm glad I got the opportunity to try these glosses out, but my $$ is safe.

The color of this gloss is gorgeous. I like how it is pigmented like a lipstick, but easier to apply. The bad thing is I lost my tube at school, I remember that day, 3 years ago. I'm not sure if it's the glamour aspect, but this gloss is irresistable.

I recieved a small version of this as a generous extra from a lovely swapper, and was dying to try it out. I had never used any Chanel product before and was very anxious. The first thing I noticed was the texture of the product - much like a thick gel, it really "camped" on my lips but was smoother than any other lip gloss I had ever tried, and stayed on my lips during activities in which other glosses just slide off (like smoking). This sheer berry with golden sparkle took me a while to apply before I managed to get the payoff I wanted, but once I did, I was very pleased with the results. I would love to continue using this product, and would like to find other mini samples like this one, but in no way would I purchase this product full price. Don't get me wrong, this is a very good product, even a very very good product. But for $25, this product needs to be nothing short of amazing, make my morning coffee and wash my dishes. 5 lippies but no repurchase.

I got a mini of this from gloss.com. While the color looks like a deep, rich red in the bottle, it’s actually a much more wearable shade. I think the gloss actually has some mild pink undertones that help balance out the color. Even with my pale skin, this gloss looks great. I haven’t tried any other Chanel glosses, but I have tried many other brands of gloss and this one had about the best consistency of any of them. This gloss was the perfect blend of non-sticky but remarkably long-lasting.

I got the mini as a sample for gloss.com. The texture of glossimer is great, very smooth and moisturizing, not too sticky. There is no fragrance, which is great because fragrance is l/g can be hit or miss. The color of spark is a sheer berry red. At first, I though the color is too dark for me. But, it is starting to grow on me. On the two occasions that wore it so far, I have gotten compliments for it. I don't thing I will actually get the full size. because of the price. When I order from gloss.com in future, I will choose the mini Spark as my sample. Just hope they don't run out of it soon.

This came to me as a sample from gloss.com, so I didn't actually pay for it but knowing the price I think this is way too expensive. Anyway, I love the color in the bottle (I'm about an NC20). The color in the bottle is the EXACT type of red I love, with little gold shimmers and everything. I was a bit dissapointed upon trying - it was very sheer on me and had almost a berry/pink undertone that I wasn't that fond of.

The texture was perfect. It just felt nice. If satin lingerie were a lip gloss, it would be this. It also had good staying power (not the best I've seen, but still good).

The brush leaves something to be desired. Mac hit the nail on the head with their brush for their lustreglasses and now every sponge brush I get for lip gloss application seems crappy. For the higher priced Chanel, I would want the cool brush.

That being said, I still loved it and probably will buy it when my mini runs out.

While this is a fairly pricey gloss for me, the quality and lasting power sets it on a pedestal. As a NC20/25, I don't reach for it in the dead of winter as I am too pale, but it is my summer favorite. A beautiful cool red that is sheer enough to brighten rather than overwhelm my face. Love it, and will repurchase.

This is a beautiful red w/sparkles/shimmer. Red is a color that I can easily wear (DDD) and gives my face an extra boost. I love the texture b/c it's not gloopy but more a smooth glossy feel. I wear it w/out lipstick since it has color.

MY fave glossimer!! ADORE! HG red gloss! The only gloss I have run out of!!! Actually about to purchase my 3rd tube! If I layer it I can get it to this GREAT red gloss with gold flecks, but if I just swipe a light layer its this great strawberry color. LOVE! Makes my lips look huge, my skin flawless (most red shades do this to me... darn! :)) and my teeth sparkle! Would CRY if they ever took this away!

I love this gloss!! It goes on as a sheer raspberry red with a hit of sparkle! I usually can't pull-off a truly red lip so this works perfectly for me. I like the cute packaging and soft applicator. The gloss seems to last awhile as well as the color.

In the tube, this is the most beautiful gloss I've ever seen. On my lips, it's not quite all that. I like the formula and the feel of it--slick, gel-like, slightly thick. I like that it's unscented. But the color is a disappointing berry, not the gold-sparked red that's in the tube, which one would think would translate to coral or, uh, a gold-sparked red. Layering intensifies the color a bit, but then I have to work with it to get the color to be even. Not my favorite gloss by a long shot, and definitely not worth the price to me.

This was an OK gloss. but not something I would purchase again. It is a reddish, coral color with golden glitter. It's a sheer color, but does have a nice pigmentation to it. I like Chanel glossimers, but this color was not something to rave about. Honestly I could have found this color in other brands for a cheaper price. of course the texture would not be the same with other brands, but to me this gloss was nothing to pay $24 for. I would much rather purchase force or my summertime HG, unity. Again, nice color but nothing special.

I originally purchased Spark at the Chanel counter but exchanged it for Force which is a much more elegant and complimentary color for me. Spark showed up as an orangey/reddish/coral color with a warm golden shimmer. Normally warm golden tones work well on my medium pigmented lips and NC30 light to medium warm skin with yellow undertones. This color made my skin look muddy and was much too orangey coral rather than the reddish golden color I was hoping for. Maybe the pigment in my lips or my yellow undertones empahsized the orange. I imagine it would be pretty on someone with a paler complexion or lightly pigmented lips. It seems to be an excellent color that everyone seems to love so I think its probably just my coloring!

to say i love this gloss is an understatement. i am a gloss junkie with a very active habit and this is the only tube that i have ever finished, let alone repurchased. i'm on my fourth one. yes it is ridiculously expensive. yes the tube gets gunky and gross. but the color is divine. on everyone. seriously. it works for all seasons and all occasions. it works just as well with a bare face as it did on my wedding day. glam, natural, pale, tan, blonde, brunette, i've been everything in every combonation and this just keeps on giving. if you can't afford/don't want to buy 25 dollar lipgloss, don't ever try this on. you'll be hooked.

I love this sheer raspberry. I use it over Perplex Hydrabase or on its own. I will repurchase often. To prevent leaking, just clean the top from time to time.

This is the closest that I will ever get to wearing red lips. Spark is a beautiful berry red with golden shimmer on my lips. It can be applied sheerly or layered on for a more intense look. This is my go-to lipgloss when I want to look glamorous! I love pairing this smoky eyes and a neutral blush. Chanel glossimers have become a staple in my make-up bag. These are the best!

Amazingly enough, I saw this for the first time on my pretty but no make-up wearing younger sister. It looked fantastic! I talked about it for days, going on and on about how I had to have it and thanks to a very sweet MUAer, I now do! It looks much darker in the tube than it does on your lips. The texture is silky and smooth, the colour, perfection. My sister and I are both NW45/NC50 and this colours just looks GREAT on!

Okay, here's the deal: I'm a PPP with cool/pink undertones, strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. This was my first Glossimer and if not for the packaging, I could sigh happily and end forever my quest for the perfect gloss, regardless of its garish price. It's rosy, shiny, lasting, unscented, and positively gorgeous--great for summer AND winter wear! Wow!

But, alas, my quest continues. I just can't stand the goopy application from a wand that is too long and unwieldy, the mess from the gloss oozing out of the tube, and the difficulty getting the last traces of gloss from the sides of the tube. If this were in a squeeze tube with slanted tip (ala Juicy Tubes) then it would be perfect. Heck, I'd even settle for a brush style wand. But the wand with its sponge applicator is too long, too messy, and too icky for me.

P.S. Anyone else notice Revlon's not-so-subtle attempt at making their Super Lustrous Lip Gloss like Chanel's? Square tube? Check. Black top? Check. Gold Band around tube? Check. At least Revlon makes their tube shorter so the wand isn't so long.

Please Chanel, put this in a squeeze tube and I will forever be at your mercy...

For the price I just don't think this is worth it. I do find myself wearing it, but I think it's more because I spent so much on it I don't want it to go to waste, rather than because it looks so good. It's a reddish muted pink that does on sticky, which I don't mind, but which isn't as highly pigmented as I'd expect it to be. It is fairly sheer and doesn't go on as the brick gloss I'd hoped it would. I'm a sallow PPP and because of the slight golden flecks it works well for me, but it isn't the color it looks in the tube. Overall a good product, but too much $$.
