The color is far too white for my olive skin, not suitable as a base like MAC Shroom (much better) because of the sparkle effects. Maybe suitable for another skintone
So it's bye bye

I'll admit, this isn't the most exciting eyeshadow that Stila makes. Starlight is a very pale, shimmery champagne that can turn almost whitish/silvery. It can really only be used as a base color, or as a very neutral eye for dramatic lips/cheeks days.
However, the good thing about it is that it can be paired with *everything.* The color is neither too warm nor too cool, the texture is great, and it blends well and lasts forever. Also works great as a more subtle browbone highlighter.
Probably my most used Stila eyeshadow, just because it goes with everything, so I'm sure I'll be buying it again. BTW, I'm LLL, NC20, brown hair and eyes.

This is my fave "everyday" wash because it looks great with neutrals as well as color. I just got a duo from sephora with this and twig and love it. Perfect for work.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Oily Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Love this eyeshadow. It's the perfect color to highlight the browbone, or as a light, eye-opening wash on the lids. The texture is amazing: soft and blendable, typical for most of Stila's shadows.

A very, VERY versatile shadow - Starlight is to Stila as Shroom is to Mac, but softer and better pigmented. It might be blah to some, but it's a good staple to have because it goes with so many other shadows! My only complaint is that it's a tad too shimmery for the office, so I don't think I'd repurchase.

I wear Starlight virtually everyday and with virtually all other colours that I have. Highly recommended.

Starlight is a nice basic highlight color, but it was a little too frosty on me. On my NC30/MMM skin and brown eyes, Starlight shows up as a shimmery warm/neutral cream color. It's pretty for use in the inner corners or browbone, but it's lighter than I prefer to use straight on my lids. Texture is very soft, staying power is better than average, but not the best.

I love this eye shadow! It is one of my favorite FAVORITE ones to use as a daily shade. Works superb as a simple wash, very flattering (I'm PPP-FFF) and I would buy over and over again! Excelent quality, feels great and wears well. It's my white gold!

I love this one. It's a beautiful wash or highlight. It pairs well with Slate, Wheat, Espresso and Voila. Very versatile, one that I use almost every day.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Blond, Straight, Fine Eyes: Green
Surprisingly flattering on my warm skin. Super cute with lots of black shadow and dark lips. Smooth, and very shimmery without looking cheap. I wear it more than any other shadow I own.

This is an iridescent silvery champagne. I use it as a brow bone highlighter. It has just the right amount of frost to it, but I am thinking I may like Oasis a lot better since it has more of a gold shimmer to it. The silver in Starlight can make it look a little ashey on my skin in certain lighting.

This is one of my favorite e/s colors. Its a shimmery neutral thats a little lighter than my skintone. The color just seems to melt onto my skin, while the shimmer makes my eyelids glow. Its very ethereal looking, in my opinion. LLL.

Gorgeous shimmery light beige/champagne color. Not frosty, either. Illuminates my dark hazel eyes, and it's neutral enough for both warm and cool-toned people. I use it as an all-over color on my lids, but people who aren't pale could use it as a highlighter or a wash (might not show up as well).
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Fair Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
Beautiful shimmery natural highlighter color. This is my staple eyeshadow. I pair it with everything! Looks especially good with Stila's Grace eyeshadow. Great staying power and texture.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Oily Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Great light neutral beige. Perfect as a wash or highlighter. Just a tad lighter than my skintone (NC30/35), so it brightens up my eye and adds light shimmer. So gorgeous. And like all stila shadows, good pigmentation and lovely texture.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Normal Hair: Brown Eyes: Green
Beautiful shimmery neutral. Very versatile as a wash and can pairs with plums and browns beautifully!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Tan Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
I don't generally like neutral colors and I tend to stay away but I ended up with this from a swap. However, I discovered it's a really nice highlighting color when I wear it all the way to the brow.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Very Dry, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Black, Wavy, Coarse Eyes: Brown
beautiful. a shimmery champagne. great for everyday...all over wash or as a highlighter. brightens up the eye. similar to kitten but w/ out all the frost.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Dry Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue
This is beautiful, it practically glows. The color is amber champagne, no silver, with monochrome shimmer. But subtle and glistening rather than all-out shimmer. It's a perfect complement for peaches, browns, and greens. To compare, I think Stilife would *be* starlight if not for silver shimmer (this lifts the tone), while Kitten is brighter and frosty. Stilife wears longest (6 hrs or so on dry lids), but doesn't give the glow or smoothness of starlight. On me, starlight lasts ~4 hours at best.

I just got this color and love it. I have yet to find a Stila eyeshadow I don't like though. I have tried other brands and always come back to Stila. I love that this color opens my eyes. I have deep set dark, dark brown eyes and auburn hair and I have a hard time with a base color. I often use Bone by Bobbi Brown but it doesn't show up on me. This does but not overpowering. Lovely shade.
