I was looking for a powder that has SPF because I've oily skin and I hate wearing greasy sunscreen. Since this product contains titanium dioxide, I can feel a little more easy about skipping lotion sunscreen. The only thing I don't like is that there's only 3 choices of colors. I've got fairly light complexion but I had to purchase dark to get the right shade. The little sponge that comes with the compact does nothing for me. I use a brush to get a more natural looking finish.
**update 7/12/03** ever since I bought Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen, I have no use for this product anymore. It's not a terribly bad product, it's just that I've found something better to replace it and the color was a bit too orange to begin with.

I got this because of the SPF and I had used Neutrogena powder before -- I like the texture but the color (Light) was WAY too orange for my light skin, even though the other Neut. powder I had used before in Light was fine. And Fair was WAY too pale for me. The texture is very fine which really makes my pores "disappear" but I can't get past the color. Won't be buying again.

This is on of my favorite powders. I use medium. It has a great spf of 20 and goes on smoothly. The application sponge is not the greatest. I usually toss this and get one from Cover Girl or drugstore line. The color selection is limited (OK, non-existent which is why I take away one lippie) but medium works well for me. If you can work with one of the few shades available, I highly recommend you try this.

I chose this powder because of the high SPF value. After reading more about sun protection, I'm not so sure I can wear enough powder for the SPF to really do its job.

The powder is not very finely milled, it tends to sit on top of my skin in a very visible layer even after I use a powder brush to remove the excess. Not being able to get a good color fit doesn't help either.

While it is cheaper than department store powders, it shares the problem common to all drugstore items: you can't really test it before you buy. So unless you are ready to return it if not satisfied, I'd advise you to try something else.

This powder just seemed chunky to me. It was very thick and obvious on my face. For a powder w/SPF try Paula's Choice, it's much silkier and more wearable than this.

i had tried this before, and hated it because the only colors available were fair, medium, and dark. i was somewhere in between, so of course with fair i looked like a kabuki character, and with medium i looked dirty. i finally found light02 (fair is 01), and thought "why not, i'll try it again." it's just okay, but at least the color is a better match, and that makes all the difference. i like the spf, it doesn't break me out, but i don't like having to use so much of it, particulary when i 'break-through' after just a few hours (thank the cosmetic science geeks for c&c sheets). the compact scuffs after a while (it's got a metallic look that will rub off, so it looks ratty), and the puff is barely adequate. so, if it's only okay, why would i buy it again? because it doesn't break me out, because it performs double duty, saving me from liquid sunscreens which are usually too thick for my skin, and because it's EASY. i mean, who can't plop powder on their face when they need it, but how many of us skimp on sunscreen because liquid is such a hassle to put on everyday, consistently and evenly, not to mention that you're supposed to reapply it every 2-3 hours. i don't ever reapply foundation if i can help it so spf foundation is of limited use, but i don't mind puffing my nose every 1-2 hours.

I really like this powder. The color (Fair) is flattering and natural looking on my super light skin, and I like the SPF. It seems to provide more coverage than a typical powder, maybe because of the titanium dioxide. I always have this one handy.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS POWDER! This is one of very few powders with SPF on it, but! The color is too pink, it makes your skin look reddish! The case is hard to open, and puff is not soft either. Coverage is uneven, I felt like it built up on my skin. DO NOT EVER BUY THIS!
