I love this product because it's a great moisturizer for sensitive skin. I use it as a night cream in winter. I'm a European girl and the climate here tend to get very cold in winter and my skin goes red and blotchy. After cleaning with Effaclar gel I wear a little bit of this product, specially on my red cheeks.
I don't like to wear it on day time because it doesn't have SPF.
If you want moisture without irritation this is a great choice.
I love this pharmaceutical brand.. It's not expensive and it's available in every pharmacy near you.
when my skin is oilyer my pores enlarge, that's why I only use it winter time

This is my HG moisturizer for the day.
It is a very basic moisturizer with no "miracle ingredients", but it keeps my skin soft and well moisturized.

It is lightweight, doesn't irritate, is never greasy, and works well under makeup. I bought a tube at CVS for $20, but I use so little each day that the tube will last quite a while.

This is not a heavy cream, but not a liquid either. It smoothes over my skin nicely.

a definite repurchase.

NT$650(US$19.69) here at Taiwan. Nice, simple moisturizer. The texture is not very thick, and penetrates fairly quick. Recommended for dry and sensitive skin.

Well, so far, so good with this cream. I had been using Avene Diacneal and it wreaked havoc on my skin, due to the silicones in it. Caused bumps on my skin. Well, after I cut out the Diacneal and other silicone laden products and started using this cream, along with Vichy one step cleanser (see my review for that one too), my skin cleared up within 4 days and is now bump free (except for one hormonal pimple on chin). I love the consistency of this one. I had tried the Hydraphase light texture prior and didn't like it. It was too perfumey and it irriated my skin. I have to say I was hesitant to try another LRP cream, except for the fact that this was supposed to be for sensitive, dry skin (which is what I have). It felt so soothing on my skin and I like the lack of fragrance. I was a little scared of the squalene, but so far, after 2 weeks, I'm not having any problems. I will continue to buy this as long as it keeps my skin happy.

I really like this moisturizer. Lately my skin has been super sensitive, and very acne prone yet very dry and uncomfortable. I went to my dermatologists office and they recommended I use cetaphil. It was cheap but it clogged my pores and stung upon application. I went back and they recommended this. I love it I paid $22.00 for a 1.35 oz tube not much for such a great preservative free moisturizer which comes in a hygenic tube. It would have given it 5 lippies if it only had an spf, but i understand for this line is made for people with very sensitive skin and spf is not for everyone. Moisturizes nicely without leaving a greasy film on my face. This creams as opossed to the fluid is made for people with dry skin i have combo skin and no problems.

I bought this product because my face became very dry and sensitive at the beginning of winter (usually I have combination skin.) I started using this as a night cream and my face felt better after one application. After using it every night for about a week my face felt back to normal and the irritation was gone. My mother started having a lot of skin irritation and I recommended this product to her. She said that she had great results as well and plans to continue using it. I bought the "riche" version and I found that it is a bit too heavy to use all the time. I will definitely keep it handy during the colder months because it certainly does the trick.

I have been using the "riche" version of this cream. I found it to be a very nice, basic, non-irritating moisturizer for my dry and sensitive skin.

I have rosacea and VERY sensitive skin especially since I use Renova at night for fine lines and winter is here. My face has been stinging and so I bought this even though my dermatologist and my pharmacist did not recommend La Roche Posay. Anyway, it stung my cheeks badly. It hurt, and frankly, didn't moisturize a whole bunch either. I have used it in the past as well when my skin was in better shape, and it was ok as a protective shield before going out in the wind. But with my skin so sensitive, it really isn't working as well as I expected. Frankly, my pharmacist took one look at my redness and suggested Impruv. She said it was expensive ($16.90 CDN - that's expensive???) but it was new and was something that she sees alot of dermatologists recommend lately. I found that to be much better than the La Roche Posay product line - in fact, I am quite disappointed in the line now.

A few years ago, I was on a light treatment of Accutane. While I did not experience the severely flaking skin, my skin was pretty dry and extremely sensitive. During the winter, I did not know what to do because my face would actually sting whenever I applied ANY type of moisturizer - even the ones for extra dry skin from Lancome. Finally, upon someone's suggestion, I tried Toleriane (back when it was sold over the counter at drugstores here in Canada) and knew that THIS was the magic moisturizer because (1) It did not sting my face. (2) It actually moisturized the dry patches away. (3) No annoying scent for my sensitive skin. (4) Price was reasonable.

Some people who try this will not be that impressed. Here is what I think: If you have sensitive skin (either naturally dry and easily irritated OR because of Accutane treatment), you will love this moisturizer because it really is non-irritating and moisturizing. However, if your skin is oily, or not particularly sensitive, then this moisturizer may not be any different from a $7.99 bottle or an expensive brand-name product. But even so, I would recommend Toleriane to everyone because it contains few ingredients and if it's good enough for sensitive skin, then it's definitely good enough for those with "normal" skin.

Left my skin oily half way through the day. I'm not very fond of this line but my dermatologist is. If you have dry, 'partially' sensitive skin this could work.

EDIT: Wanted to add, do not be afraid of using this because it doesn't have preservatives. Preservatives are only absolutely necessary in water-based products. This line of products is squalane (oil) based, so does not require preserving. Also, the opening in the tube is miniscule, so not much chance of contaminating unless you rub dirty hands all over it. If you're super scared, put it in the fridge, but it's not necessary. =)

Ladies on the boards recommended this to me for my highly reactive skin (THANK YOU LADIES!!!). Seems like everything gives me a rash, and nothing moisturizes enough. I found this on skin-etc.com for about 16$ plus shipping. Had to call and get a consult before they would sell to me. But, OH MY GOD, was it worth it. After using it for only one day, I woke up with skin that was almost normal (for ONCE). Of course, my rashes are still healing, but I feel this stuff is accelerating the process. Is very moisturzing, yet light and easy to spread on skin. Quenches my dry, angry skin very well. I would recommend Toleriane products to anyone with very reactive skin. As perspective, I can't even use "sensitive skin" products like OoO and Dove, but I can use LRP =). Also, I would recommend the fluid version to those with oily skin, as this product might be too much. It's just right for combo/dry skin, though. UPDATE: I eventually quit using this product because my skin developed sensitivity to squalane. I'm not sure if it's my rosacea, or the general over-activity of my immune system (I have 3 diagnosed inflammatory disorders =(, but I tend to develop delayed-type hypersensitivity to many ingredients. I can no longer use squalane-based products, but I still feel this is an *excellent* product for sensitive skin, so I am not changing my rating.

Ingredients: Aqua(Water), Squalane, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Capryl Glycol(Caprylyl Glycol), Carbomer, Octoxyglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide.

This is a very nice product I use when my face has a reaction to a bad product, or when weather really causes my skin to get flaky and irritated. Provides good moisturization and doesn't make me breat out!

After a yearlong search to find a moisturizer that would not make me breakout and still give me enough hydration - this is it. My dermatologist suggested it and now, whenever I go to Europe, this one I buy in bulk. The cream is a bit heavy, so if you are very sensitive - take the fluid.

This is a nice gentle moisturizer for my sensitive skin. I just need a tiny pea amount and pat it on my damp face in the morning. It doesn't break me out and stings my face. I also like that fact it comes in a little tube, very hygienic.

Product comes in a regular fluid or in a richer texture for drier skin. Amazing light fluid to use to calm the skin. I found this to be great to use after shaving, or to calm the skin whilst under stress or too much sun exposure.

This cream is for very sensitve skin and I don't think it irritated my skin but I broke out on it! If you easily break out I would try theri other fluid(toleriane) first but if you are not acne prone this cream might work for you.
