Why would any toner have artificial coloring & denature alcohol? It's basically ruining your skin ... none of the ingredients are particularly stand out either, and any prominent dermatologist will tell you that toners are completely unnecessary although it may make your face feel momentarily renewed/refreshed.

I did like this toner and how it made my skin felt. But though it says its alcohol free it really isnt, in the ingredients it says denatured alcohol (used in fragrances) and that is still very damaging to skin below the surface. My skin does feel moisturized after using it but its just the alcohol that concerns me. Other than that I thought this was a good toner.

I have been using this product for several years now. I have dry, sensitive skin and was searching for a toner - not an astringent - to take off any last traces of makeup residue after cleansing. This works great! It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, but not dried out. Doesn't sting or burn and is mild enough to use morning and night. This works so well that I don't even bother looking for anything else. Also, it is readily available anywhere, from the supermarket to WalMart of Walgreens.

You know those products that claim to be "alcohol-free," and yet still smell and feel like there's alcohol in them? This is NOT one of those products!

-- soft scent (reminds me of Biotherm's toner for dry skin, which is also pink.)
-- no burning sensations
-- leaves skin feeling pure and soft
-- $7 !!!

If I had to take off 1 lippy, it'd be for the packaging. Be careful when opening - you may end up spilling some. I did... =/

This is a wonderful, gentle toner. I use it after cleansing and it will wipe away any makeup my soap missed, or soap that that water missed. It's very moisturizing, and I can use it all over my face without worrying about burning or drying out my skin.

I was battling acne and had tried everything. I went to get a facial, hoping for some advice and the lady said "you need toner". This product helps balance my skin with NO PROBLEM. The combination of the facial and this toner has eliminated my breakouts. I forgot to use it one week and I started breaking out again. I have really dry skin so my skin tends to want to over produce oil once I wash my face. This toner keeps the dry skin moisturized and the oily skin dry. A definite KEEPER!

L'Oreal Paris HydraFresh Toner is a mainstay for me. The formula is alcohol-free which is the most important plus for me. It also does not contain witch hazel which can be an irritant for many. This toner is light, does not burn, is non-stripping; but cleans all traces of makeup and dirt from my skin. I use Retin-A and never experience any irritation from this toner. Love this stuff! >^,,^<

I am half way through my first bottle of this, and I really like it! I bought because my industrial-strength Clean & Clear toner (which does a very nice job of keeping blackheads away) was starting to make my skin very, very dry. I am in my early 30's, and my skin is chaging, I guess. But, I am pleasantly surprised by the Hydrafresh. It has very low alcohol content and glycerin in it, so it is refreshing and hydrating, just as the packaging claims. Even though it has a lower salicylic acid % than the Clean & Clar, it is doing just as good a job of keeping me clear, and the best part about the Hydrafresh is that is smells very nice. It's nice to go to bed smelling faintly of flowers and oragnges rather than teenage zit treatment :)

I really wanted to like this product, but it made me break out into a rash. After the first couple of times of using this product, I started getting small red bumps on my face that itched like crazy. I did not attribute it to the toner; I thought maybe I had gotten some bug bites instead. However, after the 6th day of using it, I had these red bumps all over my face. Its been about 5 days after I stopped using this toner, and my face is getting better. It seems like this product works for most people, but it didn't work for me.

I have been searching for a toner that would fit my price budget but would also work for my sensitive, acne-prone/allergy prone skin and I have found it! I suffer from severe allergic reactions to many skin care products, so its hard for me to find things that work and work well. This toner has not only left my skin soft and supple, but cleared up a few uneven areas on my face. I am very satisfied with this product not only for its results, but for the price as well.

I just bought a fresh bottle of this last week. I have been on it since the spring after reading reviews here and getting a rave from someone I knew. My skin tends to absorb the atmosphere and this product lifts everything out of every pore onto a cotton pad.

I use it twice a day most times. I spray mine onto a cotton pad then use it. One thing I don't like about this product is the packaging. Using it straight from the bottle with that gaping hole, I would waste alot. I am clumsy and heavy handed. So I pour half of a bottle into a sprayer that you can get at walmart and I'm good.

My skin doesn't dry after using this either. It actually makes it feel dewey.

Only drug store toner I've ever used that hasn't dried out my face, or left me with an unpleasant smell. I like how it makes my skin smooth, use in the mornings, and at night, and my skin looks great. Love it, will buy again.

Wonderful miracle product - tones, hydrates, smooths - every bit as good or better than the expensive products I've always used in the past!

This is my favorite drug store toner. It doesn't feel filmy or have an unpleasant smell. It just preps and freshens my skin perfectly.

I'm using this in the green bottle for oily and combination skin. I pour it onto the cotton pad and gently pat it onto the skin. It feels hydrated instantly and fresh too! After that I will apply the hydrafresh moisturiser and my face feels so soft and supple and bright.

Although it's strongly fragrance, i actually like the citrus fruity smell. My Bf finds it very nice smelling too!

Updated: My face turns very red after using it and takes a long time to subside. Stopped using it after this.

I have been wanting to try this for awhile, so I finally bought it. I got it for $4.79 at the military exchange here, so it was definitely a great price. I got home, and immediately washed my face so I could try it. It was refreshing, and wiped away traces of makeup and cleanser. It also wiped away the flakes on my nose and forehead. I have extremely dry skin and I have not found ANY product that leaves my face so smooth. So I'd have to say that after only 2 days, this is a miracle product. It really finishes off the exfoliating process and hydrates amazingly. I only used about half the amount of moisturizer that I normally use and my face has smooth and flake free all day. I will definitely repurchase unless anything changes.
