This is my absolute favorite pencil liner! I have it in Amber Night (which I think might be limited edition, since it's one of the Kohl Kajals) and will be so heartbroken when I run out. It's lasted me a really long time though, which is a plus. This eyeliner has a great, creamy texture and this color is superb--a perfect deep copper with brown undertones. It smudges easily for the perfect smoky eye, but lasts all day, even on my super-oily lids. I highly recommend Lancome's kohl eyeliners, particularly the kajals.

I have quite a few of these, and I pretty much wear a different eyeliner every day, so I didn't really notice the fact that these liners irritate my eyes horribly! I love the colors and the ease of use, but jeez! They smudge like crazy too. I like to apply liner on my upper waterline to make my lashes look thicker, and this immediately transferred, and of course irritated. And they are very expensive! I just won't use these for that purpose I guess...or maybe swap them away...

I love this eyeliner for quite a few reasons:
-pencil liners are far easier to apply and require less motor control skills (which I obviously do not have)
-the colors come on strong with one swipe, much better than a lot of other stupid pencil liners that I've purchased, where I have to go over my eyelid like 5 times to get the same effect as the le crayon kohl
-It is a very long pencil and will last you a long, long time!
-The pencil is easy to sharpen and the crayon does not snap off easily
On the downside, it
-Requires a lot of reapplication
Wouldn't buy it again because I'd rather invest in a liquid/gel liner.
That's it for now! Hope it helped

This eyeliner is awful for my purposes. I own it in noir. I like to wear liquid eyeliner on my upper lid and fill in the upper lid waterline, but this almost immediately made it to the lower waterline, and all around my eye in general-tear ducts, everything. Yes, it does go on smooth, and may work if you're really going for a smoky eye, but for a clean, simple look it's horrible slippy-slidey madness.

i know that pencil eyeliners tend to smudge so i didn't expect so much out of it. it does smudge/fade but i don't mind since i use it on my lower eyelid. =) it doesn't give you racoon eyes. it's not too dark, it's a soft colour and it makes my eyes look nice after using this. if you're looking for something that's soft for your lower eyelids, this would be perfect. especially if you're pale, i am really pale so dark black would look horrible on me anyway. definitely will purchase this again unless i can find something better by shiseido.

My favorite eyeline..gives the eye a true pop and good staying power

My sister gave me this eyeliner because she said it smudged too much for her. She is right. Its staying power is like 4-6 hours, but it does smudge throughout the day. I have to wipe under my eyes every two hours to make sure I don't look like a raccoon. This is compared to the eyeliners at drugstores. I wouldn't recommend this especially you can buy the same thing at a cheaper price at the drugstore.

HG of eyeliners. Each lasts for about 3 years. Only product I continually go back to

Lancôme kohls are not as creamy and intensely pigmented as kohls are supposed to be, but they are not hard and not sheer either.
I think these eye pencils are not as great as MAC Powerpoints or UD 24/7, but they are still very good and I use them a lot, specially because they don´t give me racoon eyes. When I want a rich line I use something else, but when I want subtle make-up (when I go to work, for example) these kohls are great, because they add definition to my eyes, and are not over the top.
Staying power is good (again, not as great as Powerpoints). They smudge a bit by the end of the day, but they are still much better than 98 % of the eye pencils I´ve tried so far (and I´v tried a lot, lol).

Basic eyeliner. I could get the same thing from the drugstore. I like the cap, its gold (wel mine is atleast).
Smudges a lot on me... it never smudged that much on my momwhen she used it.
Will not be repurchasing.

Pencil glides smoothly, but has weak color intensity and poor staying power - very smudgy. Quite pricey at $23.50.

As far as pencil eyeliners go, I am pretty happy with this product. It applies well and if I set it with eye shadow / powder, it doesn’t really smudge (I have oily lids). However, I now prefer a higher colour intensity liner so I currently use Bobbi Brown’s Gel Liner for above my eye. But if I do decide to line my lash line beneath my eye, I still reach for Le Crayon Kohl.

I really like this product. I am able to use it well on my waterline, and the colours are very intense. It can give a beautiful look for daytime or dramatic for evening.
I sometimes put powder shadow over top the line to add to the staying power and infuse some colour.
For a pencil liner, it is my fav

This is definitely far not the best eye pencil I've tried. I have this in black and I'm indeed very disappointed in the color. I was expecting a deep rich black, when this is more like dark dark gray. Also it is very solid and irritates my eyes. Another major problem with it is smudging, even though I have a waterproof one. I didn't like the packaging either since the plastic lid broke very easily in my bag. And for this quality the price is actually high.

I have it in 013 SILVER and I love it!! The color is great and it goes on really soft (very important!!). It doesn't stay put all day, I have to reapply once during the day but I don't mind. If I want an eyeliner that stays put the entire day, I'll take a liquid one. I just like the fact that pencils are much easier to apply and to correct when you don't have a steady hand (like me hehe). The color is great, esp. for those blue/gray eyes girls! Go get one!! NOW!

favourite eyeliner pencil ever, I brought my first few at the Lancome counters but have since resorted to buying them in a bright array of shades online for super-cheap.
look stunning, easy to apply, really pigmented, work well on the waterline, really pretty casing, really flattering colours. what more can a girl want?
ps. i have tried the waterproof ones but they're hardly pigmented and dont work on the waterline. clarins waterproof pencils are better for that purpose.

I'm reallly enjoying using this eyeliner. I'd only been using liquid eyeliner on my top lashline for months and was almost scared to go back to using pencil again but this has eased me back in very well. This came in a giftset with the L'extreme mascara and some eye make up remover, $58NZD for the lot - given that the mascara is $58 on its own when purchased seperately, I'm pretty happy with the price. I've never had en eyeliner before that I could use on my top lashline without tug, so I never bothered, just used liquid - but I've been using this on my top lashline with great results, so I'm ecstatic. I also find that I can smudge and blend it well for a smokey eye, which is fantastic. This is just a minisize so will probably run out quickly, but I'll definitely consider buying it fullsize when it does.

i first got this le crayon kohl eyeliner in black free in a lancome package when i was trying out their mascara. i wasnt really familiar with applying eyeliners at that time so i kinda just left it in the box. but one day i decided to be adventurous and tried it out. it was GREAT. application was smooth and easy, didnt tug AT ALL. it practically glided across my eyelid :) i fell in love with it instantly. ever since then, it was part of my essential make up routine.
just bought it two days ago across the counter for SGD$28. a tad expensive but still worth it for its 10-inch length. it could last forever! :) i got the non-waterproof version.
one drawback is that it smudges, but just a little, at the far corner of my eyelids. i carry my undereye concealer (from Benefit Cosmetics) around anyway so i can just touch it up and voila, the smudge is gone. even though i have oily skin and live in a humid environment, i have to say that with all these factors, it smudges only minimally.
definite HG quality!

This is my all time fav eyeliner. doesnt make my eyes water or anything (i have sensitive eyes). I have to re apply it once in a while as it is not water proof, but except for that i totally love this!

I love Lancome! They always have quality products. This eyeliner actually stays on ALL day long. Very easy to apply as well. A little pricey but it last awhile and well worth it.
