No tip wear nor chipping!
It's no Seche but still great. Give it a few hours or it'll still be dentable.
Once you get comfortable using it, it gives you good shine. Works on OPI polishes, other brands, and even my frankenpolishes.
Super-wide brush (larger than the usual OPI wide brush) allows for quick application.
Got it for free with purchase of 2 OPI polishes (at Beauty Express in Canada).
My only gripe: I know the look of the bottle is consistent with the rest of the OPI line, but considering you have to open this bottle only a couple of minutes after applying polish, it would help if the bottle top had a squarehead to allow for a good grip (without having to wrap your fingers around it). You do need to keep this bottle closed very tightly when not in use or it'll get thick and become difficult to use (just like any other quick dry top coat).

I find that this does dry quicky but like a lot of others I have experienced quite bad dragging and you need to put on a thick layer to stop this from happening.
Also, the bottle gets crusty round the top - I guess because any residue dries really fast!
Not a patch on the OPI DS topcoat.

This doesn't really "rapidry" my nail polish... it takes at least a few minutes for my nails to dry completely. Compared to the other fast drying top coats out there, this one is quite slow. However, I gave it 3 lippies because it gives your nails great shine and protection from chipping. I apply 1-2 coats of this top coat and my nails stay shiny and unchipped for several days. Thus, this product is a good top coat but definitely not what it claims--Rapidrying.
As for the price, I think it is way too expensive. I bought it with the rapidry spray all in a package for $20.50... quite pricey for nail polish!!
Packaging is just like any other OPI nail polish. This top coat has a wide brush so one sweep will do the job if you have small nails.

Hate this top coat. It doesnt stop chips but worst of all it bubbles every single time. Whether I put it on when my polish is wet, tacky or bone dry the day after I still get bubbles on my nails. Oh and it drags the colour around unless you use LOADS and do it super quick. I am very disappointed with it.

This works great for drying your nails. My nails dried really fast and I was able to resume my normal activities sooner than I would have been without the use of this product. My only problem is that this product dried up after only about five uses, so I was unable to use it because it was just sticky and would not come out of the bottle properly.

I completely agree that this product is mediocre at best. It does make my nails very shiny and dry quickly but they chip the very next day so all of that doesn't really matter much. I like nutranail as a top coat better than this and thats not even really nn intended purpose :p

A very average top coat. It is relatively fast drying but Seche Vite blows it away in this department as well as with the overall finish. I also dislike the application as I found it dragged a little and seemed to pick up the colour of the nail polish so that after a couple of uses, you can see a tinge of red (or whatever colour you have been using) in your bottle of RapiDry Top Coat. There's not enough money floating around in this credit crunch to spend on mediocre products...I would suggest MUA-ers pick up a bottle of Seche Vite instead.

Unlike some other people, I really liked this top coat. I'll say right off, though, that I can't say whether it really dries as quick as it claims because I put it on my toenails while watching TV and got engrossed in the show I was watching and forgot to check for half an hour.
I waited 5 minutes before applying this over 2 coats of Savina Ruby polish on my toes and had no trouble at all on any but my big toes. On those, I found that it grabbed a little bit of the polish at the base of the toes and stained the brush, but, even with that little mishap, I didn't have any streaking or smearing at all. It went on very smoothly with just a few strokes.
I have to say I love the way this stuff dries. I used to use L'Oreal top coat from the drugstore because it was cheap and easily obtainable and this blows it out of the water. My nails are super glossy and haven't peeled (which they ALWAYS do on me, usually within a couple of days) or chipped in the week and a half I've had my polish on. That's unheard of for me.
I'd prefer if RapiDry went on without taking some of my polish with it (not because I have problems with streaking or smudging, but because I don't want it staining my brush or contaminating the bottle), but other than that, I'm very happy with this, even if I can't say whether it dries any faster than any other top coat I've tried. The look and effectiveness make it worth using for me.

What a bummer! This offers protection- only if you can get it on right! I would wait about 4 mins before applying it on my nail polish but it smears and streaks! I would not recommend this to anyone.

This was a freebie from ULTA so I decided to give it a shot. Overall, I would give it a neutral rating, it wasn't the best or the worst tc I've used, but not the quality I would expect from OPI (love their np!).
I have extremely pleased with the protection it offered- virtually no chips, peelies, and limited tip wear sometimes up to 1 1/2 weeks! I did experience shrinkage once with an ULTA np- but I am fairly certain it was a np issue (which I ended up exchanging), not the tc.
I was very disappointed with the application of this tc- even when globbing it on , I noticed far more streaking & uneven application than with other fast drying tc. Not a biggie from a distance, but up close, you can see where the tc skipped, dragged, pooled, etc.....which nobody notices but me (yet it drives me crazy).

Dries my nails much faster than a regular top coat plus gives my nails an amazing shine. Looks like I have my nails done by a pro. Great top coat!

I like this alot because for me it dramatically reduces that amount of time it takes for my polishes to dry. I havent had too bad of a problem with chipping...I may try reapplying it every few days to see if that helps reduce chipping. I do agree with the other users in that it does tend to thicken up with use. I just started to notice it, so I guess I will have to see how bad it gets. For now, I would repurchase it but if it continues to thicken and get sticky/messy, then I will not.

I actually like this. I got it free at Trade Secret. The first time I used it, I hated it - but then I figured out how to make it work for me. I wait until my polish is COMPLETELY dry (otherwise it will drag the polish) and I get a lot of RapiDry on my brush (a lot more than I would for polish), go across the tip of the nail, and then slap it on in one or two strokes. This is actually pretty shiny when dry and I almost never get chips with it. It does get a bit gloopy as you use it up though, so you may have to invest in some thinner.

I got a bottle of this free from a lovely salon owner who was thrilled I was buying so many polishes. I’m glad for that because it means I didn’t waste any of my own money on it. I use and love Seche Vite because it dries super fast and I never have any issues with it. But I figured it couldn’t hurt to give the OPI a try since I had it. That was the one and only time I ever used it. I had terrible color dragging near my cuticles so I ended up with a red mani with splotches of white where my nail showed through. I never have this problem with Seche. It also didn’t dry nearly as fast as I’m used to so I had smudges and nicks galore. Enough that I wiped the entire thing off and started over (this time with Seche). I also noticed that the color dragged off by the brush ended up in the bottle so now the contents of the bottle are tinted red. This one is going in the trash but at least I’m not out any money.

I like this top coat and I'm on my 3rd bottle (the first being a mini from one of OPI's kits), I find it really helps prolong the shine and life of my manicure. Also, I can do my nails at 10pm, go to bed and wake up the next day with a pristine mani and none of the dreaded sheet marks.
I deduct two lippies, however, because this tends to dry and thicken until the last third of the bottle is a thick gloopy unusable mess. You only get to use 2/3 of what you are paying for!

I've been using OPI polishes for almost 10 years both at home & at the salon when I had acrylic nails. It's definitely my favorite polish & it usually lasts a couple days or more on natural nails (much longer on acrylic). I just recently tried the OPI RapiDry Top Coat, unfortunately the night before an important meeting, over a very dark color. The next morning by the time I got to work my polish had peeled off in huge chunks on at least half of my nails which was very obvious since it was a dark color. I peeled the rest off before my meeting because there's nothing less classy than dark chipped polish!
I won't buy or use this again so if you're a swapper here on MUA & you like this product contact me, I have a mini 1/8 fl oz bottle, only used once :-)

What can i say eww eww eww. This is a horrible top coat. This is not only thick and gloopy but i found my nails chipping after 2 days. It is one of the worst fast dying top coats i have ever used. I ended up thorwing this bottle out as i would never use this stuff again

I love this stuff. My mom was a cosmotologist so she taught me how to do real manicures. The key with this is to not wipe the brush too much and use a light touch and one stroke (except maybe the thumb). The improved wide brushes really help get this on in one coat. Afterwards if I hold my hands by a heater this hardens really quickly, none of those nicks that you get 3 hours later. I tried poshe on my last purchase because opi was out, and it bubbled very badly. OPI doesn't bubble if you do it right. I would also recomend the OPI Chip Skip natural nail base. It cleans off any residue/oil and I had a dark plum polish on natural nails for over a week!!
