I love Far AWay and also use the shower gel and body lotion. Great fragrance. It is one of my favorites.

This is one of my *secrets* no one ever recognizes this fragrance and it really works well with my chemistry. Like most of us I've spent plenty of moolah on fragrance from high end to low and this is one really cheap but really nice fragrance. It has that vanilla but tempered with some spice and floral notes?
Anyway it is crazy how many compliments I get when I wear this. I guess that is how you know something *works* with your chemistry!
I usually don't tell people what it is though! I say it's a gift someone gave me or something and make up a story!
Update: I haven't worn in a while but I am wearing this today and I just used a few sprays but I keep sitting here catching wiffs of it and thinking "wow what's that nice smell?"
Then I realized it's me! Yummy!

The only Avon fragrance I had ever smelled before this was one that I wore when I lived in the US for a year as an exchange student. It was called "Tea Rose" or "Tea Garden" or something like that and I loved it passionately. It was very sweet and floral. This one is totally different of course. I wouldn't buy it for myself, but a very dear friend of mine has worn it for many, many years. On her it's simply stunning, just the right balance between softly floral and intriguingly oriental. It suits her personality very well. Nice bottle, too.

I love the pink and black bottle with the little tassel. Far Away smells so nice on me and lasts all day long. I can spray it in the morning and I can still smell it at the end of the day. My Honey loves it too, and people seem to notice it when they walk by me. It makes me feel pretty. I don't get the name Far Away, maybe they should have named it Close By.

This is very much like Dreamlife...which I love but less floral and more amber. This is a heady fragrance if you like amber/powdery smells. Very headshop minus the patchouli (hate that smell). Not diggin the pink & black motif but the smell makes up for it....ahhhhhh

I bought this in the roll on mini size and also in the moisturising body spritz. I like the smell, but it is a little bit light, so I am going to get the perfume next and try that. Will update my review once I have tried the perfume.

This scent did not do too much for me. I like other Avon's perfume but this one is not one of my favorites.

I have been wearing Faraway since it first was introduced. I LOVE it! I don't think I have ever worn it without someone commenting on how good it smells. I love fragrance and have lots of different ones; when I don't have time to decide on a fragrance, I just use Faraway because it always smells great!!! If I had to pick just one fragrance to wear all the time it would be this one!

Overall, I love this scent. I originally bought it after smelling it on someone and asking them what it was in the early 1990's. It is a very pretty scent. After that I wore it to work every day because I wanted to be "Far Away" from work! It was my silent protest about being there. Well I quit that job for a better one and put it away. I have recently rediscovered it. Made me feel very nostaligic for the 90s again. And by the way, I still love it!!

I've had this for a while, in the back of my perfume stash, and finally took it out again. It was very nostalgic b/c I surprisingly used to wear it, and all the memories of the time I was wearing it sprang up. However, I sprayed it on my arm, and it's disgusting. Maybe it smells different than before, but it smells wayyyy too strong and powdery with this sickening musk scent. It's nauseating. I can't believe I actually liked this before.

I think Far Away (the one with the pink & black design) is far more sophisticated than most of Avon's perfumes.
On me, it is airy and innocent without being childish, because it has just the slightest hint of tanginess. It lingers all day but is never overpowering. I invariably get compliments from men, women, and even children with this one!
I discovered Far Away while staying overnight at a friend's house. She had the bath salts on her tub and when I climbed in, I knocked over the jar. In the jar, it isn't a scent I would reach for, so I'm glad I tried it by accident. It melds with my skin as if it was created for me.
It has become the scent I wear by default, on days when I have no strong preference for anything else.

I used to wear this back in '94 when I was in college, and I just bought some more on a whim. It's still the same--warm, creamy, and almost even nutty (?)--but there's some sort of twangy undertone that makes it smell a little "cheaper" to me now than when I was younger.
Age: 44-55 Skin: Normal Hair: Other Eyes: Green
It's my favorite Avon's perfume. Its smells just a little bit vanilla and I like it.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond, Straight, Fine Eyes: Green
This is my favorite Avon fragrance. It has a very nice floral scent and it last all day. It is great fragrance at a great price.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Brown, Curly Eyes: Green
A nice scent, but VERY strong. Reminds me of one of those fragrances that teenage girls spray too much of in the high school hallways!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Acne-prone, Dark, Warm Hair: Brown, Kinky, Coarse Eyes: Brown
Far Away is one of Avon's best fragrances. I remember when this came out years ago and I love it just as much now. For me its a very nostalgic scent.

I love this scent, my all time favoret....I have been wearing it since it first came out..when I was 12, now I am 23 and I still love it. I buy every thing it comes in..even the candles at specials times of the year. Men always complitment me on it, but women rarely do.....so I definatly say it attracts men.....but I wear it because it just smells amaizing!

I was given this perfume as a gift. I like the powdery vanilla spice sent. I am a perfume collector so I don't reach for it very much. It does however have staying power- a light hand does it. It lasts longer than most much more expensive fragrances on the skin. It's not for the girly, innocent perfume lovers.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Oily Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue
Sorry ..this perfume is way too strong. The strongest i have smelt. Not for me

I love this scent, too. It dries down to a sweet vanilla base with a hint of a floral smell. I'm not sure which floral note is in the dry down but it's great! Some of Avon's fragrances are underated, imo. If you like Dior's Hypnotic Poison, you should like this. It lacks HP's bitter almond note but, to me, it is reminicent of that scent.
