The first time i started wearing this was a year and a half ago. I just met my then- boyfriend, and he can still tell you the name of this product as the lip gloss i wore when we were dating. he thought the Birthday Cake was the best thing a girl can put on their lips. Besides that its cheap and give the most subtle yet noticable white shimmer.

This smells just like birthday cake. It leaves a nice shimmer on the lips as well. Non-sticky, non-waxy texture. I would like if this gloss was shinier but I still love it anyway.

the gloss is very pretty. it gives a sheer pale-looking lip. but i dont know how i feel about the flavor... it's got a touch of lemon i think, i do like that it isn't sticky at all, very smooth.

*** update: i guess i've really grown up when most BB glosses just don't appeal to me anymore. this one ended up being greasy, and even though it DOES smell great, that just isn't enough anymore. it now lives in my swapbox. ***



i JUST bought this about 15 minutes ago! (we just got home from Target)...


i'm undecided as of yet. it definitely smells like cake -- though i can't quite decide if it smells more like cake BATTER, cake FROSTING, or just cake in general.


i think the smell MIGHT be a bit overpowering, but i'm not sure yet. i also had on cocoa butter and Vanilla Frosting Sponge-On Sparkler before put this on, so it might be the combination.



i LOVE the texture. this is one of the smoothest glosses i've ever used! i can't rate staying power yet, but that's not ALL that important to me.



i'm curious what the difference is between this Lip Frosting and Buttercream, though.

Really cute! It comes in a little squeeze tube. It's pearly white and smells, well, interesting. I like it, but sometimes it smells a little like the buttered popcorn jelly bean. Yuck. But, I like the shiny shimmery look it gives so I'll use it up and then maybe get another flavor. Not to mention it makes my lips really soft! But, nevertheless, not even the best lip gloss could mean as much as my strawberry Chapstick!

I like this stuff but I've had it for so long I'm tired of it...I get bored easily thats why I have wayy too many lip glosses...anyway it smells sort of sweet a nice smell, has a hint of glitter and gives my lips a nice natural color...doesn't keep them too moisturized though

This product, on a scale of one to ten, would receive an eight. The packaging of this product is small, lightweight, and cute. The scent has to be the best part! It reminds me of cupcakes. This product lacks staying power, but it does provide a nice shine with a little shimmer, so it's the right product for those who are looking for something cheap and shiny. I would purchase this again. *13-year-old lip gloss freak!

Don't really see what all the ufss is about, smells kind of gross, not a buttery creamy vanilla cake, but rather artificial and no color at all, very slight shimmer, basically a clear gloss. If you are after the flavor, I would recommend the sponge on sparkler in vanilla frosting- smells wayyy better

Love the yummy smell. Also love the shimmery look-always a sucker for anyhing with shimmer in it. Doesn't last very long on your lips, but hey, at such a cheap price, I'm not complaining.

This tastes really yummy. I really like Vanilla ANYTHING. I generally stay away from Bonne Bell stuff because it's too sweet and dries out my lips but this doesn't do that too much. I find I still need to alternate this with a balm to prevent drying, but the yumminess makes it worth it. :)

i love this product soooo much! smells just like yummy vanilla cake and icing from a bakery. nice liquidy texture for the gloss, which i like since its not overly sticky...gives a pretty sheen. i would deduct a lippy for staying power since there isn't much but i don't mind reapply this yummy stuff. Heck I think I reapply it just to eat it off lol

I feel like I'm smelling a sweet, warm, vanilla cake every time I open up the tube! It's definitely a "fun" and unusual flavor for lip glosses. I like the nice shimmer and texture - it's not too watery or too goopy. One of the better BB products!

The smell of this is absolutely delicious. It goes on sheer and shimmery, and feels a bit oily. It did numb my lips a little bit, but it wasn't enough to turn me away from the product. It doesn't last very long, but overall this is a nice treat.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!! My sis gave it to me because she complained the smell was too sweet but this is probably one of the best vanilla-flavored glosses I've ever had. No, it doesn't last that long, but I don't mind reapplying it!

This smells and tastes nice and is a very shimmery silver (in the tube) and a slightly silver shimmer on the lips. Good amount of product with a cheap price. This gloss is very thin and has no staying power.
