MAC's 4-pan palettes are a terrific value. The price is reasonable, and they are great for travel. You can pick 4 colors that work well together, pop them in, and then go. While I wish that these were a little bit sturdier and had a mirror, these are still fab if you love MAC shadows. The clear top is a great idea because I can remember what's in there. lol.

This pallete is easy to use because of the clear lid, so it is easy to find a specific e/s.

I prefer these to the 15 pan palette, as they have transparent covers and you can see what e/s are inside without having to open it up every time. Also better than buying the e/s in pots; you can save a bit of money this way.

the price is pretty ok. i love the sleek look! all i need to do is to get the shadows and fill this up! great for toting it about.

I have already bought 2 of these palettes. They're great for carrying out 4 shadows (esp. wash, lid, crease, highlighter) in one case. I prefer this to the 15-pan palette because it's smaller and fits in my purse. It's also easier to organize eyeshadow combos. In addition to that, you can see through the cover to make sure you're grabbing the right e/s combo. I'm going to be buying more of these to store my shadows.


FYI Milani and Jane e/s fit in these palettes.

The quad palette has a handy see through top which displays your shadows attractively so you'll end up using more of your shadows and rediscover the old ones. Putting your shadows in a palette is so much better then having a bunch of pots around and you can make you own custom quads which are small enough to take along with you when you go on a trip. The little plastic clasp/closure seems like it'll break easily but I haven't had any problems yet.

HOLY! Only $5.18 after tax for this beauty! At first, I was hesitant. Thinking...why should I spend extra money on an EMPTY compact when I have perfectly good packaging for my e/s? Then I took the plunge, popped out the eyeshadows, stuck them in, and voila! I was in love. My e/s first perfectly inside AND the case is AMAZINGLY sturdy! I thought it'd be cheap plastic with a flimsy lid but it doesn't budge AT ALL unless you click the release. *note to self: buy a few more!*

This is so much more practical than carrying the pots around. It is a magnetized compact with a clear plastic lid so you can easily see your eye shadows. It retails for $4.50 CAN and holds 4 refillable eye shadow pans. These refillable eye shadow pans have the same amount of product as the ones in the pot, have a magnet attached to the back of the pan and are $11 CAN instead of $14.50 for the pots. I love the sleek and sexy look. Well worth the trip to the MAC store.

This is a great palette! My complaint with Stila 4 x palettes was that they didn't fasten shut, they got dirty easily, etc. and the MAC Pro Color x 4 is the solution . When you buy the pro shadows, they're already magnetized and pop right in (and out). They stay protected and clean, since the cover snaps shut, and the lid is clear so you can see what colors you're grabbing. A great product; a great value.

This is great. I have the 15-pan, which stays home. The 4 makes it so convenient to carry my shadows with me. I find the pots to be so annoying to carry around in my bag. It's only $3.50. The next best thing is I can use other brands of shadows in it, and its easy to take colors out and put in.

What a steal! How can this thing only be $3.50? And, where has it been all of my life?! Super practical little palette with 4 empty spaces just begging to be filled with shadows, and great little dips so that you aren't breaking your nails trying to get the shadows back out. I can finally carry my 'eyeshadoes du jour' with me in my purse without having all of these little pots floating around. Yay! Magnets in the bottom hold everything in so securly but beware, these things can be addicting! I just love filling them up. MAC eyeshadow pans are cheaper than those annoying little pots that you can never find in your makeup case and these hold more than just MAC! (go take a look at swap.beverlys.net, awesome resource!) For pocket change you can have a fun new *toy* : D I loooove these things!

I'm totally in love with my MAC 4 Pan and think it's way better than the one Stila makes! Now, Stila's are cute but MACs are functunal! The clear top is so nice, and since there are dips around the shadows, they are super easy to get out. Plus, for $3.50 it's a steal! I store my Jane shadows in there too =)

I love these! I have a couple that use for travelling and they really come in handy! It's very compact and the cover is see through so you can see right away which colours you have stored inside. When I need to bring shadows on the go I just pull a couple out from my 15 pan and stick them into my 4 pan! Love it and such a bargain!

I use my 4-pans for travel or when I'm staying over at a friend's place. I just pop a combination of 4 e/s I want to use and the case is so slim it fits in the smallest of makeup bags. The only downside is that it doesn't have a mirror, one on the inside cover would make it perfect!

Packaging
These come with an unmagnetized base, with 4 empty pans to fit small MAC e/s (and some other brands), and a clear fliptop case.

Cost
These are USD and CDN 3.50 I believe, not too sure because I got mine in swaps.

Who can use this
Everyone who wants to organize their e/s into handy compacts to bring along during the day for touch-ups, or who simply love being organized and can't stand looking for single e/s pots to achieve one look!

I would like to mention though that I just started making my own palettes from empty clear CD-ROM cases, which is so much cheaper cos I ransack the house for these cases, so I put a "no" to whether I would buy this product again.

Perfect for travel and to pop into my purse for touch-ups during the day. I keep most of my eyeshadows in the MAC 15-pan at home, and just pop out the ones I need into the 4-pan for travel. Takes up so little room, it's wonderful!

This palette is wonderful to carry around with me in my purse. I can carry a variety of colors without lugging around 4 pots. This is definitely a space saver and its cheap too!

I have finally received a mac palette and it definitely lives up to the hype. it saves space in your makeup bag especially for travel, weekend stopovers and i put 4 jane eyezings in and they were so easy to remove using a hot screwdriver (tip-put the screwdriver throught the side of the pot instead of the bottom to save time, i got all 4 out in under 10 minutes) it looks pretty and the see through top is handy so you can just grab it without having to open to check the colours. a definite must have.
