The absolute best polish! It dries quickly, and STAYS ON for a full week - even longer with touch-ups. Be sure to use the clear coat over the whole nail after touching up the edges. The colors are not the greatest, but just okay. Still, I'd rather wear an okay color WITHOUT CHIPS, than a great color that chips after a day or so. Maybe they'll come up with some better colors...

It lasts and lasts and lasts. Easily lasts me a full 5-7 days and I type all day, do laundry, wash dishes, clean house. It the longest lasting nail polish I have tried. Lasts longer even than OPI.

I haven't noticed any stained fingernails from not using a base coat. I also don't usually retouch and the polish lasts 5-7 days. A true miracle product.

The color range NEEDS to be increased! Come on Revlon! We NEED more colors!

Buy it and try it Girlies!

Yippeee!!! Finally, I have found a polish that does not chip after one day wear. I must be really hard on my nails because my polish always chips. But this stuff did not. I had to touch up the tips every other day but hey, I can live with that. Liek someone said, the polish last longer if you use a coat of clear every day or so. But, the polish is a little thick. I didn't know if I had an old bottle and was afraid to thin the polish out in case the thickness is what helps it to last a little longer. I the bright red which I love. Good stuff guys. Try it!

This nail color truly lasts. If you apply a clear coat every few days, it will last without chipping. The only drawback is the lack of colors--there are only about 10 colors. I especially like the berry and cranberry. Timeless nude was a bit too orange for my skin.

Update 8/5/2004: I still love this nail polish because it stays on and doesn't chip for longer than any polish I've used. However, if you follow the directions and apply it without a base coat, your nails obviously get stained. My advice is to use the base coat anyway.

I love this! I am too lazy to constantly be redoing my nails and this saves me so much time! I've had it last about 2 weeks on my nails and 3 on my toenails. This is a lifesaver and has reintroduced me to nail polish since I had stopped painting my nails for a few years because a) too much time b) they would always chip c) they wouldn't even last that long d) I was afraid my nails would become yellowed from strong pigments. However, I love this nail polish so much that I could not buy any other, it goes on smoothly, lasts forever, and is affordable. The only downside is that there aren't many colors available now but there should be more soon.

I hate the color polish. It's thick and sticky and hard to control. It's also hard to get rid of after you make a mess. I think you need a real expert hand, which I do not have. Made me go run off to a salon.

BUT the clear topcoat is genius. I put it on over my professionally done pedicure, reapplied the clear vanish every week or so, and seriously, my one pedicure lasted 8 weeks with only one minor chip which I touched up easily enough. (I know, you'd think I'd get tired of the color, but I don't.) Definitely worth the purchase.

Color Stay is one of those rare products that actually lives up to the advertising hype. However, there are better ways to use it than the manufacturer's instructions. I get good results by using this product this way:

1.Apply a base coat. I use Rimmel's Stronger, or Rimmel's Smoother. Sally Hansen would probably work as well. The packaging says NOT to use a base coat with colorstay. Ignore that. What good would it do you to have a manicure that lasts for days if your nails are left badly discolored?
2.Apply two light coats of any nail enamel. Most recently, I used IsaDora's #40 Supreme Red.
3.Apply one coat of Always On sealant.
4.Apply one more coat of the enamel.
5.And then one top coat of the Always On sealant.

This works very well, the manicure lasts till I remove it (generally 2-4 days, as I can't think of any manicure , with the possible exception of a French manicure, that I could bear to look at for 10 days, and which wouldn't clash with outfits other than the one I wore when applying it.)

That's 1 coat base coat, 2 light enamel coats, 1 coat Always On, 1 final enamel coat, and 1 final coat of Always On. This lasts as long as I want it to, without discoloring my nails or limiting me to the Always On color choices.

This definitely lasts the longest w/o chipping. You have to use the Topcoat and color together or it does not work. And the color can get gooey after a month or so.

I must have gotten the one bum bottle of this stuff, then. I got this in endless pink. It was clotted and chunky (yes, I shook it first. a lot!) and went on looking ghastly. I tried a few fingers, took off the polish, thinking I hadn't shaken the bottle enough. Second time, same chunky, clotted, bumpy look. I couldn't wear it! Dreadful. I tried the second step part, the sealant, over some other polish I have in the hopes I might get some of the magical properties from just the sealant coat. But no, it's chipped after three days anyway. Maybe it only works in combo with the polish, but that polish is crap! Can't imagine how others got this to work, unless other colors are somehow smoother going on than this one. Wildly disappointed.

Ooh La la! This stuff is fabulous!
I had totally given up wearing red polish on my natural, not acrylic nails because it usually chips within a day or two.
I have had this on for four days and so far and NO chipping!
I bought it in 'Forever Scarlet'.
I wasn't giving much hope for this not to chip, but this toulene and formaldehyde free polish is proving that it really does stay on for days longer with no chipping. I will rebuy this revolutionary product again.

Okay, I am getting a little ahead of myself, but I just tried for the first time this nail polish, which was recommended by Oprah magazine and a lot of you guys, it seems! I just applied it today. I am pleased to report that it went on very easily and smoothed itself out so there were no ugly mistakes on my nails. I gave it a few minutes to dry before putting on the topcoat (it too went on without a hitch). It dried reasonably fast--I gingerly started to go about my business after about 5 minutes of sitting about after the manicure, and no smudges! End result: my nails look gorgeous and shiny (by the way, I used Stay Natural Sheer). Wow, me likey lots!! It's a nice nude which has a subtle hint of shimmer (VERY subtle--you have to look at it from close-range and under some lights to see the shimmer effect). OK, so I haven't given it time to see what happens with its resistance and longevity on the nails, but I'm so pleased with how my nails look and how easily it went on and dried, that I already give this 5 lippies. I'll downgrade if I find it chips off too soon! Jet Set, you have some major competition!! As far as the colors go: they don't have the quantity or variety of some other nail polishes, true, but I am a simple girl at heart, so the dozen or so I spied in the drugstore are enough to keep me happy for a good while! They seem to have covered the basics and then some. I also bought Diamonds Forever, True Camisole Sheer, and Timeless Nude, but if this lives up to my expectations I might get more (although I have entirely too many other nail polishes in my collection already). UPDATE: I can't believe that 7 hours after putting this on, I went to bed and believe it or not, I got the dreaded SHEET MARKS!! Discovered them this morning. Not really bad ones, but they are there if you look real close---aaarggh! Maybe I didn't apply polish thinly enough and let dry enough before topcoat (usually I apply too thickly because I get carried away when applying nail polish)!!! But I was VERY surprised to see the sheet marks regardless, which hasn't happened to me with polishes such as Jet Set. The other downer is the nude doesn't look that exciting anymore, especially on my toes (I usually put bright colors on my toes, but for some reason I chose to put this nude on both fingers and toes). It's OK for fingers though. On account of sheet marks, will downgrade to 4 lippies. SECOND UPDATE: It's 4 days after application and it's still going strong, minus minor (I mean MINOR) wear at the edge of the nail. A new record for me, usually polish starts chipping by day 3 if not sooner since I use my hands a lot around the house. Back up to five lippies (the sheet marks were pretty minor anyway--can't see them unless you look really close). I've bought Plumberry Ever After and Limitless Lilac for toes too. LAST UPDATE: It lasted one week on fingers before looking cruddy (that's a new record for me & nail polish). Taking this off with Cutex non-acetone nail polish remover pads was a breeze, by the way. Always On is my new manicure staple!! I have redone fingernails with Timeless Nude--looks great, no sheet marks! For the first time, I have perfect-looking nails--days after putting the stuff on! Lasts a week! WOW!!!!!!!

I am a bit surprised by the rave reviews for this product...but for me my major rant is the brush. The brush is a bit too small to apply evenly/ apply well. The brush is good to the edges but there is no way I can apply the product without seeing streaks. The good point is that : the nail colour stays on relatively well, has a large range of colours and has a nice shine to it.

In terms of lastability, the best product I have ever used, better even than Chanel nail polish, which lasts incredibly long. The only problem is that I find Revlon tends to get kind of gloppy in the bottle even after a month or two, while Chanel stays smooth even after two years!

Great nail polish! It really does stay on for a long time with no chips. Right now I only have Camisole Sheer which is a very pretty pale pink. I will definitly be buying a lot more shades. In fact, I won't be buying any other brand of nail color until they can last like this one.

This stuff is great. Especially if you want nice nails all the time but don't have the time to keep up with them. There aren't many colors to choose from but the top coat works great over other nail polishes. I've tried it over opi and maybaline nailpolish. I don't have to redo my nails for about eight to ten days. I do alot of dishes laundry and other housework and my nails always look like I just painted them.

This stuff has been on my toenails now for fifteen days and they still look like they did on day 1. Toenail polish usually lasts a long time on me, but this stuff takes the cake. The color selection is lousy, but I still found a couple that I like a lot.

I have this in Stay Natural Sheer. It really does wear very well. I had it on for 7 days without a chip. Didn't care too much for the color. This nude has a slight shimmer to it and the first coat streaked so you have to add a second coat which made it too opaque for me.
