Not a big fan of this one, mainly due to the major racoon eyes I get. Whether i am washing it off or just through daily wear and tear.

At first, I liked this mascara, but it dried up very quickly, after about 1 month, and became clumpy and started giving me raccoon eyes by the end of the day.

I used to buy this product a lot. It was my mainstay in mascaras. I liked the way it thickened as well as lengthened my lashes. However, somewhere along the way Almay developed a packaging or production problem because more often than not I would buy this mascara, open it and find that it was already dried out. It looked like it had been open for a couple of months. It didn't go on well at all either. When this product is wet as it should be, then it's great but you just can't count on it. I finally had to give up on it entirely.

I decided to give this a try after reading a review by the Cosmetics Cop which listed it as a top choice. I was not disappointed! It lengthens, thickens, doesn't flake of smudge or clump...everything I had dreamed Clinique's Dramatic Lash would deliver. For a much lower price and higher quality product, this is worth it! It gives me pretty, baby-doll lashes in that naturally-gorgeous-not-obvious way.

generally, it is a good mascara tht doesnt mess up my lashes. after using: great lash, multiplying, dodo, extreme xxl, double extend, and etc, etc, this is a mascara tht LENGTHENS.....i hav short, stubby eyelashes, and they lengthened it considerably, without drying my lashes like multiplying (which is actually a good mascara, just a bit too dry) it doesnt hold a curl as nice as multiplying, which is wht i usually wear, but it's does wht it supposed to..and i'm satisfied. :)

By itself? I agree, it's not that wonderful. However, if you use it with an eyelash curler and comb, it's really great. I like to apply a coat of the mascara, use the comb then curl, and they use another coat and comb again. It gives the really huge, volumized fake eyelash effect. However, if you want something more everyday-ish, it works just to curl coat and comb. lol, the three C's! I'm gonna have to use that.

Just an average lengthening mascara--nothing too dramatic going on here. My lashes are long, dark, thin and straight so I like a mascara that curls, volumizes and maybe lenghthens just a tad (so why did I buy this one?)Anyway, it's nice if you want a natural look. Doesn't do much in the way of thickening or curling. Also stays on pretty well. Probably won't repurchase.

This is a good, no-fuss mascara. It can end up looking a little spidery - but if applied correctly it looks good. The brush is well shaped for getting to all your lashes.

Ok, I've tried about every mascara out there (that's what it seems like anyway) and can't believe that in a moment of just needing something QUICKLY, that I picked this up and am happy with it. Usually, I have to do research and end up being disappointed. I was in a hurry and needed something at CVS...was out of mascara and they were out of my usual L'oreal Voluminous. I picked this up in a rush and tried it the next day. This is good. Is not gloppy and absolutely no flakes all day long. I usually apply 3 coats because I like a little volume and I use a mascara base before hand and need to cover that up. The clumps are practically non-existent and any clump that does come up is easily taken care of with a lash comb. Every lash is coated and long and natural looking. Am very, very happy with this and will buy it again. I bought it in 'black' and I wish they had a 'blackest black' or something more dramatic. Maybe they do...I was in a hurry. Try it...if you like a dryer mascara with a nice teddy-bear brush, you will love this!

Edit: OH! I forgot to mention, it comes off easily with my Neutrogena makeup remover and I have not lost even ONE lash since using it. It say's on the package that this is "nourishing" and I really think it must be!

I really like this mascara and generally end up using it again every time I decide to branch out and try a different kind. I have naturally long dark lashes with pale tips, so what I'm looking for in a mascara is just something to give them a little extra oomph and darken the tips without clumping or looking completely fake. I find most other mascaras to be too wet and slippery, resulting in spidery looking lashes, even if I comb through after applying. With this mascara, I can do a coat or two for a day look or add an extra coat for a more dramatic night look. My only complaint and the reason I knocked off one lippie is the staying power with one coat - although this doesn't really smudge or flake off in any way that I can tell, by the end of the day it appears to have worn off somehow. With two or more coats, this problem is eliminated.

I bought this as a special prepack: buy one, get one free. Both tubes of mascara performed equally badly! The formulation is very dry and builds neither length nor thickness. Not only did I have to keep reapplying mascara during the day so my lashes wouldn't disappear, the formula also smudges fairly easily. The tubes themselves only contained enough product to last a couple of weeks. And to think Almay once made a Triple Thick formulation which was one of my all-time favorites!

fantastic everyday mascara. i'm not sure which i like better, this or the Almay Amazing Lash in the gorgeous silver metal tube. both are great, basic mascaras that do just what they claim and last ages without smudging. great products!! used them for years until i had to switch to Waterproof. =(

This stuff is great when under a voluming masacara. On its own, it lengthens AND thickens and the brush is great. I can't imagine this stuff clumping. I use it under Maybelline's Volume Express (Regular, NOT Turbo-Boost) to make my eye lashes look like falsies. Great stuff.

It does lengthen well and actually thickens a bit for my lashes. Not as much as they say though.
But much better than my other mascara, however not the best, because it tends to clump and smudge. Otherwise it makes my lashes look nice. Although it doesnt make my lashes brittle, it tends to weigh down my curl...
Also:
I need to put at least 2 coats for there to be significant difference. Incorrect advertising.

This stuff's not too bad. It smears off fairly easily though, at least in my experience. Other than that it's okay - I noticed a bit of extra length, no clumps.

This is a good little mascara. While it doesn't make one's eyes *pop* it has a very natural look and doesn't clump or smudge on me. If you want the 'false eyelashes' effect this isn't the mascara to do that - but for an everyday, easy to use mascara, this is a good choice.

With one coat of this mascara, my eyelashes looked very natural; just a little longer. After two coats, my lashes achieved a somewhat longer, darker look. This product did not curl or thicken at all, but I had no clumps. It was also very easy to remove. The tube lasted forever and the consistency remained pretty much the same, even up until it was finished. This mascara did not provide the "WOW" factor for me, but it was pretty good. Just an inexpensive, reliable little mascara. :)
