This blush was soo pretty in the pan...if only I could get that color on my face. Dame had pretty much zero pigment. To get it to hardly show up I had to dip my brush in the pan about twenty times. Back to mac it went.

I like this product but I don't think it's worth the price. I like the color but I don't think there is anything special about it. I think you could find a nicer color from MAC or any other brand.

Dame is a cool-toned medium pink with tiny shimmers. Very flattering on my NC20-25 skin, gives me barbie doll cheeks. I like to wear this in the winter, because the blue pink counteracts any redness in my cheeks from the freezing and harsh Canadian weather. Paired with a pinky lipstick is perfection, something like MAC Viva Glam Gaga or Rimmel Pink Blush.
When I first bought the blush, I had trouble picking up any powder on my brush no matter how hard I scrubbed at it. Upon close inspection, I noticed a really thin layer of some kind of sprayed on film on my blush. I never had this problem with any of my other MAC blushes. After a while, once I've broken into the blush the color came on more liberally, thankfully. So, that's my story, if you have similar problem, don't give up just takes a while to break into certain powder products.

I just got this yesterday, it's my 4th MAC product, so I'm pretty new. I'm an NC25, and this is a perfect pink for me.. I don't pile it on... so I would suggest starting with a light hand and building the color! I usually use Orgasm, but decided to go with more of a pink color... and this was the MUA's favorite one, so I snagged it

I like the color - but like many MAC blushes, this one is very mottled on me. It also goes pretty red. Plus, it has a bit of shimmer, which I recently figured out, I react to. It's a pretty color, but I think I'm a bit fair for this shade.

I've had this for several years, I don't know why it has taken me so long to write a review. I think this is the perfect shade of pink . . . not to blue, too orange, or shimmery. Just a beautiful true pink with color that last throughout the day.

I love MAC blushes. They are seriously amazing and highly pigmented. What I love about this, is that on my pale skin it gives me the perfect pink cheek of a russian ballerina - sooooo beautiful! It is the perfect buildable flushed pink.

At the moment I am wearing this daily! I am currently wearing NW30 studio tech and dame seems to look perfect with my colouring. It's not shimmery and I build up the right amount of colour gradually. I then apply appripeach pearlizer as a highlighter and I get fab results every time. Looks good in daylight and with studio lights. Would definitely recommend.
UPDATE: 24/7/10
Still adore this and have hit pan. Goes with nearly every look. I just love this so much and can't recommend it enough. You will not be disappointed. Try it! Xxx

After a perfect pink blush by estee lauder was discontinued I went on a search for that perfect pure 'powder pink' colour that looks natural and english rose like. This is perfect! I use it every single day. Althought the colour is perfect, the staying power is not so good, but I do have oily skin. I find that the shimmer doesn't show up at all.

I purchased Dame 5-6 years ago, used it a few times, and then let it sit. When I rediscovered makeup earlier this year, my initial reaction was shock that I had ever put this on my face. In the pan it's a pretty blue-pink with BLUE SPARKLES. I blamed my tweenaged self for putting blue glitter all over myself, and decided to try it on just for fun.
When I did, it gave me the most beautiful glow I had seen in ages. The blue glitter that I was so worried about had disappeared, and the powder that remained left a perfect pink flush on my pale cheeks. This product is perfect for those with fair to fair-medium skin, especially those with undertones on the cool side. The pigmentation level is ideal for me: it's heavy enough to create a definite difference in my look, but light enough that it never looks garish or unnatural on the skin.
I'm so happy that I decided to try this on after all these years, because this is now my go-to cool-toned blush.

Perfect pink blush! This blush really gives me a subtle glow especially on days when I'm really tired, it brightens up my face instantly. Just a pretty all around great pink! I didn't think it would show on my NC40 skintone but it's perfect! I apply a little bit of Nars albatross over this and bam! I would highly recommend this blush!!

HG Blush! Dame is highly pigmented -- but still quite buildable. I love the way this blush looks on my cheeks! It gives a natural flush without looking too over the top. Love the texture too! If you could only purchase one MAC blush - I'd definitely recommend Dame.

I love this blush, it is a dusty rose color. I have tanned skin right now it looks great for summer paired with Shell cream base for a highlight! It is a satin finish which gives off more pigment compared to the sheer tone blushes. As far as price, I feel that with MAC blushes you receive a lot of product for the price. I will purchase this again.

Great light blue pink blush, especially for a blush coward like myself. Not super pigmented, it just looks natural on my skin.

This was my first MAC blush and I am very disappointed. I wish I had the receipt still, so I could return it. The pigmentation is awful. I have fair skin and I can't see it on my skin. If it was more pigmented I would like it better, but it's not. I definitely won't repurchase this blush again.
