Love this product in the summer months when I want beachy hair and don't feel like blasting it dry with hot air. I spray in, comb through, let air dry, and add a pinch of FF Glossing Cream. Voila -- soft waves with body and loads of shine. For more kink, I'll braid and let dry for several hours. My hair is poker-straight so this is a nice way to change up my look; not sure why someone with curly hair would want to use it.
$18.50 at Sephora.

This did nothing for my curly hair. I ending up taking the product back to Sephora and getting my money back.

I'm sad to say that this is pretty terrible. It reminds me a lot of Bumble and Bumble surf spray, except it smells much better. I swear, it actually increases the frizz and poufiness in my hair! It offers no hold or wave definition, just stickiness. And it's very, very expensive. Two big thumbs down.
EDIT: I'm upgrading this from a 'one' to a 'two.' That's because when used in conjunction with luscious curls cream, it does reduce frizz and provides some definition. I wouldn't use it by itself, but it does enhance the effects of the luscious curls cream.

I've tried lots of wave-creating products and this one works pretty well. It brings out the wave without making my hair "crunchy" or weighing it down. Great scent too, very fresh and not overpowering. My only gripe is that it doesn't protect against frizz very well so I still have to use separate products for that, but it does work overall.

I find this spray to leave a little sticky residue on my hair. The scent is pretty strong too...not offensive at all, but just a little strong for a hair product. I didn't really notice a big difference.

I love the scent, and I love what this does, but when I finish this product, I don;t want to spend another eighteen dollars. Its a great wave creator/definer, but next time i'll try John Freida beach blonde spray or Garnier Fructise surf spray.

When I first used this product, I hated it. Now that I've taken advice from other reviewers (make sure hair is about 80% dry, twist), it works great. My hair is wavy & straight & fizzy. It helps to reduce the frizz & create texture. I'm sure there's cheaper products out there that work just as well but I love the smell of FF products & the packaging.

I'm generally a fan of Fekkai products, but this one just doesn't live up to the hype. Despite trying a variety of techniques, I can never achieve more than a few random kinks. Save $15 and purchase Garneir Fructis' Surf Hair instead.

I'm Chinese but I have curly, wavy, and straight hair. Hair around my face is curly, like chalk sized or marker sized spirals. Hair on the rest of my head is S shape wavy. Hair at the nape of my neck is stick straight. I used to blow dry and iron my hair to make it straight until the hairstylist recommended that I stop fighting my hair. Picked up this wave creating spray and it has saved my hair troubles. Trick is to use it when your hair is almost dry like at least 80% dry. I spritz my hair then twist large chunks and pin to keep the twist in place. Then I just go about applying my makeup and getting dressed for the day. After I'm done I start removing the pins and using fingers to loosen the twists. Yay! Now I have even waves. This is now my preferred way of doing my hair, it actually takes less time than straigthening my hair in the mornings. TIP: Bigger twists for looser waves, smaller twists for tighter waves. Wavy/curly hair does not have to set in the twist as long as straighter hair. Believe me, I have an "order" in the way I twist and untwist.

This isn't one of my most favorite Fekkai products, but it does work nicely to build texture. I naturally have loose, curly hair... however, I like to wear it in a more wavy style. This products is nice to spritz on mid-day to help pump up my curls and create a little messy, beachy texture. Smells good, but not HG by any means. John Frieda Dream Curls works just as well (maybe better) for MUCH less of a cost.

I had better results with this product when I wore my (naturally wavy) hair straight, rather than wavy. Overall, the results didn't "wow" me in any way.

I really like this product. I have fine, wavy hair, and this stuff makes my hair curl up really nicely with no frizz. Before I started using this, my problem was that when I let my hair air-dry, the back part of my hair would look fine, but the front/sides would be frizzy and not as wavy as the rest.
After I wash my hair, I usually let it air-dry, and when it's mostly dry, I spray this stuff in, and just leave it to dry naturally. It works really well for me.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I've tried using this product several times on my hair and no matter how I twist it up, all I get are a few random kinks. I guess I'm just stuck with my stick straight hair. But the spray smells so amazing that I still sometimes use it just because of the scent.

I forget why I bought this product...I think it was during one of my retail therapy sessions when I "had" to buy "something" that sounded special LOL. Well, in a nutshell, I like the smell and concept, but it doesn't work on my pencil-straight fine Asian hair. I've been experimenting with it in a lot of ways...but it adds no ooomph to my hair at all, not to mention any curls. I do feel it gives my hair a bit more body when sprayed on wet and air dried....but the curls I imagined ain't so. Too bad...I just love FF products (especially their smell...could just spray and spray) but I don't think I'd buy this particular product again.
(UPDATE) Ok pardon me...I was wrong..it does work! I got it to work for me for the first time the other day~~yipee!! You know how you spritz this on and then twist your hair up and its supposed to work? Well, you've gotta twist real tightly (I was doing them way too loose) and clamp with a claw pin or something. Also, before, I was using it on 80% dried hair...this time I tried it on freshly washed but 95% or completely dried hair and got it to work~this thing is so cool! One other tip is to divide your hair into L/R and do two twists not just one big twist cuz my curls came out sort of lopsided...looked real good on the right but looser on the left. This is a fun product for sure~~now if only I hadn't rushed out and bought that Caruso hair roller set already...hmmm!

This is my HG hair product. I have slightly wavy hair that I always used to have to straighten whenever I wore it down. Then I read about this product and decided to try. I was a little nervous to purchase it because it seemed like a lot of money for a hair product. But I'm so glad I finally did buy it! It gives my hair such pretty waves, and its so easy to do! I wash my hair at night, wait till its about 75% dry, apply this spray, twist it up in two buns, and go to bed. The next morning I have soft, shiny waves! Everyone compliments my hair now!

I am absolutely in awe of this product. This gives me the Catherine Zeta-Jones hair that I've always wanted. Well, not quite, but it's definitely as close as my very fine, thick, straight, LONG hair will ever get. I really just need some body and lift in the upper part of my hair, because that flatters my face shape best, and this gives me that body. It makes my hair look soooo lusciously sexy and bed-heady. It totally gives my very straight hair that major bombshell-sex-kitten look, and with no effort. My hair normally REFUSES, absolutely, any kind of styling. I have tried EVERYTHING, and for years, but my hair refuses to hold any kind of curl. I can braid my wet hair into tiny braids and sleep on them all night, and the waves will come out of my hair within about an hour. I can use a curling iron, and same thing, even with hairspray. With this stuff, all I do is spray it on my damp hair, twist it up into tow little buns, and that's it! I just let it dry and take the buns down, and comb it out. Voila! Perfect waves. I have a feeling that most of the people who hate this product and say it "does nothing" are just not using it properly. A lot of these people are using it on curly hair, which it is NOT meant for. Other people seem to take the instructions too literally and just scrunch their hair. You need to put it up and twist it in some way, because it obviously needs to be held in some sort of shape for long enough for it to do something! Give it some time. If it can give MY crazy hair waves, it can give anyone waves.

I absolutely LOVE this product. Makes my stick straight hair lovely with waves. I spray it when my hair is almost dry, twist it up & let it air dry. 30 min later I spray more & scrunch & I've got pretty waves. The bottle may be a little costly but it lasted me a long time!

this is very good. my hair is very straight when dry and won't hold a curl. However with this sprayed on damp hair and twisted into a bun i wake up with lovely bouncy waves which last all day. Smells lovely too. Hugely overpriced but worth it for me and it will last ages. Also it is intended for creating waves in those that don't have them! so that is probably why it does nothing for curly hair;)

ITA w/ the post below. Great stuff!! I have fine thin hair, that's not very straight but it's not wavy yet either. I sprayed this when my hair's about 75% dry, divide my hair into 3 parts, and then twist and tie them w/ elastics, then just leave them for about 1/2 hour. After that, I just open the twist and finger comb and my hair will have the sexy messy just-out-of-bed waves. Very pretty and easy to do. The waves hold for about 8 hours. so not bad. One thing to remember is don't spray too much cause it will make your hair a bit sticky.

This is great stuff. Really pumps up the waves in my already-naturally-wavy hair. If I apply it to my damp hair in the morning, and then later on apply it when it's dry, it gets super wavy. It doesn't weight my hair down or look greasy or anything. I love the smell too. It's expensive though at $18.50 for 8 ounces.
